"An Up-Hill Learning exp"
Tips: Be very proactive; time moves fast, and by the time you settle down, 6 months are gone. Be proactive and network with the relevant people, even before you reach the campus. Do not rely on classroom learnings only, and I would recommend making a list of people/companies/industries you want to target.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Some of the best, well-read, well-educated faculty. True passion for what they teach and the method of teaching. More project-based work, more learning from people in the industry—so they teach in a way that you "shadow the bankers" and learn. That's about it.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The 4 is because of the macroenvironment. The political environment and things of that nature do impact the job search, so I guess being proactive is all you can do. Besides that, the career team is very supportive, and the university organizes networking events with banks and PE funds and has people come and speak—so the knowledge is given.

Bridging Culture and Building Future .
Tips: The biggest transition was academic style, which is heavily focused on self-study and critical thinking. Cultural, the shift was smooth, though the weather, ie quite gloomy. I am very satisfied with the quality of education and the exposure I have received. It entirely depends on us and our goals.
Likes (Value for money): The Imperial College London gives us good returns like working for 2-3 years with a great pay and going back to your home country. The return on investment is good. The reputation you get after studying from this university is commendable, and everyone knows about the university. It has worldwide reach.
Dislikes (Internships): No doubt there is a decent amount of guidance provided; in fact, the university organizes various networking events and workshops as well. Yes, there are internships available across the UK. Still, a lot depends upon the job market and the field you are in.

World second best college.
Tips: The transition is smooth; there are a lot of Indians. I would suggest making international friends as well. I availed myself of a 25% scholarship due to my performance in my bachelor's. Education is top-notch, but job opportunities have reduced significantly. Classes are there 16 to 17 hr per week.
Likes (Public transportation): I gave public transport a full 5 stars because honestly, navigating London as an Imperial student without a car is an absolute breeze. The South Kensington campus is practically sitting on top of the Underground station, meaning you have the District, Circle, and Piccadilly lines right at your doorstep. You can literally just tap your phone or an Oyster card at the turnstile and get anywhere in the city within minutes. Between the Tube, the constant stream of red double-decker buses running 24/7, and the national rail network to head out of town for the weekend, there is zero reason to ever worry about driving or parking in London. The services run incredibly frequently, and even though TFL delays happen occasionally, the sheer scale of the network makes commuting or just exploring the UK straightforward and stress-free.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): I gave permanent immigration a literal 1 star because trying to settle long-term in the UK is a complete joke right now. Honestly, when you're busting your back doing an intense degree at Imperial, you'd think they’d actually want to keep you but the government is just making it impossible to stay. They’ve basically doubled the wait time for ILR from 5 years to a grueling 10 years for a ton of people, made the English test rules way stricter, and are actively hacking away at the graduate visa duration. Plus, trying to actually settle or get sponsorship is a nightmare because the salary requirements are just ridiculously high now. It just injects so much stress and uncertainty into your future. It makes you feel like there's no point even trying to build a life here when they keep shifting the goalposts on you.

Imperial is a well reputed college within UK and has ample student opportunities.
Tips: It's a really good course if you wish to have a crash course coming from a different background to business. University is good too, but please be mindful of graduate timelines. The graduate windows open in August and run till January, so preparing beforehand helps a lot.
Likes (Student Life): I enjoyed my time, there were a lot of events every week. Clubs and societies are amazing too and pretty active. There is an option to be a student ambassador or volunteer for a long of events on campus or even tutor people. All in all if you look at the right places, it has great options.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The visa route is too unclear right now as the change from 2 years to 1.5 has not happened. I would not immigrate as there's a lot of uncertainty regarding the changing lawns. However the option for post study visa is a convenient one if you wish to work for a limited time.

MSc Advanced Chemical Engineering - Batch of 2025

The academic journey was difficult.
Tips: The academic journey was difficult. It is a masters level course. Plus they are competing with Oxford and Cambridge so they have amped up the difficulty. It's not difficult to pass, it's difficult to stand out. Programs are wildly interesting, you'll find something you enjoy. Just do not expect anything else apart from education.
Likes (Safety): The city's safe, as opposed to the common notion. Even the college takes care to do whatever it can to ensure safety. There is a dedicated app for students that can alert the college security team about your location wherever you're in the city. Plus they take a lot of care about their rules regarding fire hazards, chemical waste management, etc.
Dislikes (Internships): There is no break in the masters programme for an internship period. They have shortened the course to 1 year. You come, pay the fees, experience the rapid fire education bazooka and before you adjust, you're out. No break, no internships, not really any time to do part time either.
