The University of Liverpool is a space for exploring and enhancing your knowledge and skills.
Tips: Students should try to find more scholarships that your courses offer, you will get all the necessary information on the university website. I suggest that you try to connect with the alumni and ask them for suggestions. They can provide you with valuable information that can help you make an informed decision. Find nearby accommodation before joining the course in person for easy accessibility. Try to be a part of as many societies as possible and connect people from your department before joining for better advice. Use the international student ambassador facility to have a chat to clear your doubts with university representatives.

A good choice if you can bare the fees.
Tips: Being one of the Russel group universities, this university of Liverpool is really a good choice if you're considering UK. The reason I choose this university in the first place was that it is academically oriented, its a party place, it has many sports clubs if you want to experience an overall university feel, this could be the one or else there are other universities with less fees.

Friendly and helpful university.
Tips: University environment is really friendly and the staff guides you to help you in all the ways possible. I haven't faced any racism after coming here and in fact I became the president of badminton club. Coming to the studies, every student needs to do their own research and work at least 2 hours a day on their own to get good grades.

University is big but I have not experienced any cultural shift.
Tips: I have not experienced much cultural shift after coming here because most of my classmates are from India and the people in my accommodation are from India as well. I have not received any scholarship from the university. I have got no part-time job except for the shifts at Liverpool Football Club which is not many hours. But the university is quite large and looks so beautiful.

University of Liverpool was as I expected. Amazing opportunities if you are capable.
Tips: There's not much of a shift because it's an English-speaking nation so that cuts it off by 70% rest 30% is adaptation whether to the food habits or general way of conduct. This much is easy and won't take time (word of an Indian student). I got 4000 pounds international student scholarship (they do take merit in consideration so it is upto 5k GBP). College has decent clubs to be a part of and some clubs also organise walks outside the premises so it's a win situation. In-campus jobs are a bit rare so you got to find something outside (don't worry you will, everyone does!). Rest my course is just what I expected. From governance to intelligence policies everything is in the curriculum and case studies and mock drills are good for getting real time experience. Yes to this university!
Likes (Safety): Security generally is good but it is advise by university as well to look before taking any step. Like getting accommodation, looking at the contact to avoid any confusion or being aware of your surroundings while you are on a night out. Make sure to be a student only and don't oversmart the native. If you are good with them, they'll be the most kind.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The competition is cut throat especially if you are from India, Pakistan or Bangladesh. Packages are decent but the primary thing is to get the job. It is recommended to take up as many internships as you can in your domain even if they are remote. Lay the foundation stone and definitely good opportunities are there. Don't listen to people speaking about there being no jobs, someone being competent doesn't change the whole scenario.
