- While no prior computer programming experience is necessary, a basic level of computer literacy is expected
- Those with a Computer Science degree from a non-UK university, or other computing background, will be considered on the understanding
- India specific requirement:
- For State and Central Universities we would look for a minimum of 60% for programmes requiring a 2.2 degree
- For Private and Deemed Universities we would look for a minimum of 65% for programmes requiring a 2.2 degree
- While the above is a general guide university understand that the marking system in some states and national universities make it harder to achieve 60%, therefore university will accept 55% from the University of Mumbai, University of Calcutta, University of Delhi etc. among others
- Graduates from the IITs and IIMs will also be considered with marks in the region of 55%.
