2:1 (upper second class) UK Honours degree, or an Honours degree from a non-UK institution which is judged by the University to be of equivalent worth in Engineering or Computer Science is preferred. Those with a 2:2 Honours degree may also be considered if they can demonstrate 1 years of relevant experience. Applicants from other academic backgrounds are strongly urged to contact the Admissions Team with their academic transcript listing all the courses they have studied, in order to discuss suitability. For State and Central Universities we would look for a minimum of 60% for programmes requiring a 2.2 degree, whereas programmes requiring a 2.1 would need a minimum of 65% overall.For Private and Deemed Universities we would look for a minimum of 65% for programmes requiring a 2.2 degree, whereas programmes requiring a 2.1 would need a minimum of 70% overall.While the above is a general guide we understand that the marking system in some states and national universities make it harder to achieve 60%, therefore we will accept 55% from the University of Mumbai, University of Calcutta, University of Delhi etc. among others. Graduates from the IITs and IIMs will also be considered with marks in the region of 55%

Education in a quiet and peaceful environment.

Tips: Aberdeen is a really quiet city with a lot of beautiful architecture, so people moving from buzzing cities should know if they would prefer this calm. The tuition fee along with the scholarship provided by the university is extremely value for money. The course is structured really well and fits all careers regarding cybersecurity. There are people without any background in Cybersecurity but still managed to pick up because of the course structure and teaching. I would encourage students to check thoroughly about the course structure and scholarships before applying.

Dislikes (Public transportation): The city is well connected and buses are available almost all the time. There can be due times when buses might run on delay so it's always preferred to catch an earlier bus if you're running on time. Trains are a bit more expensive than buses but you won't need trains to travel inside the city.

It is a highly prestigious university and extremely close to my heart and my professional journey.

Tips: This is an extremely supportive and helpful environment, highly competitive and focused on academics. Trying to balance both work and life is important; they are extremely strict about immigration rules and regulations so disobeying the rules is not an option.

Dislikes (Post study jobs): I am still in the process of looking for jobs and hence I do not have a very clear idea; however, my field does not have much scope in Aberdeen, not only is it still budding. Seeking jobs outside of Aberdeen is preferred for better opportunities with sponsorship.

This master’s programme covers the fundamental concepts and skills of robotics and AI including robot manipulator arms and mobile robots, bioinspiration, machine (deep) learning, simultaneous localisation and mapping (SLAM), swarm robotics, computer vision and AI. You will also gain hands-on experience through practical projects and lab work in our dedicated robotics laboratory.
We place a particular focus on handling uncertainties in industrial processes, machine learning methodologies and algorithms, autonomous systems and the application of advances in robotics and AI to the optimisation of manufacturing and industrial operations (Industry 4.0).
Your individual project will focus on a problem confronting industry today, providing you with an excellent opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge to solving a practical 'real-word' problems and demonstrate your capabilities to particular organisations or industry sectors.
