International students must adhere to the following University of Cambridge admission process to get into B Tech programs:
Step 1-Choose a program: International students must choose a program from various B tech programs and go through the eligibility criteria.
Step 2- Fill out the application form: Now go to the official website (undergraduate.study.cam.ac.uk/apply) to apply to B. Tech programs and submit the required documents like academic transcripts, written assessment/ pre-submitted work, standardized test score, English language score, and more.
Step 3-Pay application fee: Students must pay the application fee of GBP 60 (INR 6.4K) for the B. Tech to apply for the application. (GBP 1=INR 107.05)
Step 4- Wait for a response: The university will review the application form within a few weeks and provide an offer letter to join the program.
Step 5-Pay tuition fees: To get enrolled in the first semester, international students must pay University of Cambridge tuition fees to pursue B. Tech. The tuition cost ranges between INR 36L and INR 42L for BE and B Tech programs.

International students must fulfill the basic selection criteria to enhance their chances of selection at the University of Cambridge. - IIT-JEE (Advanced) - offers for Chemical Engineering, Engineering, and Natural Sciences (Physical) and may be made conditional on a rank of <2000 in the IIT JEE (Advanced)
- STEP - offers for Mathematics will be conditional on achievement in the Sixth Term Examination Paper (STEP). STEP may also be required for offers for other subjects, such as Computer Science, Engineering, and Economics, where attainment equivalent to A Level Mathematics and/or Further Mathematics cannot be demonstrated by any other means.
Students’ quality: The university also considers students with opinion, critical thinking, and analytical skills, and a student who is curious, confident, passionate, and enthusiastic about the subject.
Entry requirements: Students must require an A level/ IB higher level in Mathematics and Physics to any of the College of Engineering.
