Great campus life and peers.
Tips: Academically solid and culturally diverse place to be in. The international student union has been very helpful and peers have been helpful as well. Adjusting has been fairly easy and the weather has been beautiful throughout the year as well. Overall safety and security have been great as well. The immigration process can feel tiresome so there is always uncertainty involved.

Great for tech and learning.
Tips: My transition here has been positive and a learning experience. Good value for money compared to most universities in California and professors are also supportive and helpful. Super diverse place with lots of Indians as well and the tech exposure out here is great as well. Clubs on campus are pretty active as well.

This university gives opportunity for your overall development.
Tips: Fully satisfied with the coursework and opportunities that I got. Scholarships are not available for this university. And as the course fee is already on the lower side it's manageable once you secure a job. As it helps you build your development, you can get into a student phase.
Likes (Indian Food): Every kind of cuisine is available nearby. Indian, Mexican, Chinese, Thai etc. But it makes your life easy if you cook for yourself. Eating outside would make the cost of living even more expensive. You can avail the on campus dining which goes easier on your wallet.
Dislikes (Internships): Location did help a lot and the likes of open career fair from our university and neighbouring universities like USC, UCLA, UC IRVINE did help a lot when securing a job. You have a good alumni association for this university. And also you will be networking with the above mentioned students as well.

Best for postgrad than undergrad.
Tips: My transition was both peaceful and gradual. The initial two weeks were spent running around, trying to get the hang of things, opening my bank accounts and after that it became more peaceful. It takes time to build solid friend groups, although people are friendly there is a sense of being reserved. Classes are well planned and I would say I am satisfied here.

Good value for money to study here.
Tips: Great value of money as compared to a lot of other California universities. The level of academics and teaching did not disappoint and the weather remains beautiful throughout the year. The campus has a very free and friendly environment and people are naturally easygoing. Have learnt a lot here.
Dislikes (Part time work): Very limited availability and scope of part time jobs here mainly because of government regulations and the opportunities within campus are limited. Also sometimes the academic schedules make it tricky to maintain a part time long term especially during the final season.
