About Wilmington University
Wilmington University is a private, non-profit, doctoral research institution. Founded in 1968, it started with a charter class of 194 students. According to various unofficial sources, Wilmington University has an acceptance rate of 99% making it less selective for admissions. This university officially became Wilmington University in 2007. Wilmington University History
Wilmington University was founded in 1968 and the university had begun with having a small group of students along with the leadership of Donald Ross. During the following decades, the university had shown significant growth and it had expanded its enrollment to more than 10,000 students by the year 2006. It was finally renamed to Wilmington University in 2007.
