International students must meet the Harvard University admission requirements to study LLM program. Mentioned below are the entry requirements for Harvard LLM admission:

• The applicants must have a J.D. (Juris Doctor) from an ABA-approved US law school or a first law degree (J.D., LLB, or the equivalent) from a law school
• If the applicants are in the final year of law studies, then they must complete the degree no later than June of the year in which they are intended to enroll
• Generally, to pursue an LLM from Harvard, no work experience or further study beyond law school is required. However, applicants with two or more years of work experience tend to submit stronger applications and get more from the LLM program
• English language proficiency test score

The applicants from non-English speaking countries who did not receive their full-time legal education completely in the English language must take the TOEFL exam within two years before the submission of their Harvard LLM applications.
