Manchester University was formerly known as Manchester College and is located in two locations; North Manchester, Indiana and Fort Wayne, Indiana. - Mount Morris College had merged with Manchester College in 1932 as well.
- Later in 1948, the Peace Studies Institute and the Program in Conflict Resolution became the world's first undergraduate peace studies course.
- In 2012, Manchester College was renamed to Manchester University to offer a range of graduate programs to students.
- Manchester University also became the first university to offer a degree in pharmacogenomics in 2016.
