Good but need to improvise based on the needs of international students.
Tips: Even though part time jobs are necessary to lead a less stressful student life, focus more on obtaining a good co-op or full-time job. There are no scholarships for graduate management courses at NU. The university and faculty are good and the facilities the university has for students are amazing.

A bit expensive but worth it.
Tips: Northeastern has a lot of Indian and Chinese students in their master courses. The university has some or other events going on every day. Finding a part-time on campus is a bit tough due to the high competition. Boston has a lot of students and overall is a good city but everything here is on the expensive side.
Likes (Safety): The campus has its own police force and a committee called OSSCR that looks into the safety of the students. Also, there is a transportation service that Northeastern provides for students living in the radius of 2 miles from 5 pm to 6 am in the morning which is a safe way to travel home during the night times.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): It is a tough job market and finding a company that will sponsor my visa is quite challenging. I have applied to several companies and have gotten no response as of now but I do see a lot of openings in my field so it shouldn't be something impossible, just time-consuming.

Join this college if you are rich
Tips: This place is very expensive also the university, you will need to prepare yourself before taking up any course. You need subject background else it would be a struggle. Since the place is expensive you need to find part-time work. There are some professors who are really good.
Likes (Public transportation): Excellent transport system within the city and available transport system is restricted with time limits. It does cost you more if you use transport but they are the best part of the city and the worst part also due to delays and mismanagement. So never be dependent on public transport.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Due to lack of jobs and also market down. Opportunity comes once in 100 applications. College does not help much they will only guide how to apply and approach to jobs. Please do not join if you are well-settled in India because here you will need to struggle a bit.

Good university. Could be better with co-op.
Tips: Not everyone gets a Co-op, it takes a lot of hard work, skill and also luck to secure one. It was an easy transition for me since everyone is mostly Indian in the graduate cohort. The university should be stricter with the admission policies as without it there is a major influx of students and a shortage of on-campus jobs.

Northeastern University is place where you can thrive.
Tips: Northeastern University helps you grow if you're willing to work hard and give 100% dedication to your work. The classes are well customized according to the market trends the professors are highly skillful and the resources at Northeastern University are really good.
Likes (Part time work): I work at Residential Security Office at Northeastern University as a Supervisors for my part-time job. It has perks of its own. The admin is very good and the work culture is very helpful and cheering. There are a lot of on-campus jobs available at Northeastern University.
Dislikes (Safety): I work at Residential Security office and I can say Northeastern University is one of the safest places in Boston as it is in the city so Northeastern Police department and Boston police are a call away. I feel the community at Northeastern University makes it safe and the resources we have make it safer.
