No help from university in finding work.
Tips: Less help is available in finding job opportunities. Otherwise, college is easygoing and academically sound. Food and accommodation options are easily available. Scholarships are available. Work options are abundant in the US. A cultural shift was there but it was gradual. Need the person to be adaptable to circumstances.
Likes (Student Life): Ample events and club activities to keep the students busy. Great platform to interact with other students. The college has ample buildings and sitting space to study and work. Student life comprises religious event celebrations, functions, and events on different occasions. Also, a lot of times free food is distributed in the college.
Dislikes (Internships): Not much help provided by university. Seminars on elevator pitch, resume and cover letter building are available. But not many job openings are posted on the internal website. There is a lack of help from the college to get the students placed either for internships or final placements.

Hard working students will shine here.
Tips: Need to understand US culture for smooth transition. Northeastern is a competitive school, so more hardworking students outshine others. But encouraging faculty, and peers will support well. Scholarships are limited for international students, but on-campus jobs can be done for additional financial support. I am satisfied 5/5 with the course, university and country.
Likes (Public transportation): Boston's public transportation is one of the best in America, a convenient and cost-effective mode of transport. The campus is in the city centre, and has 2 metro stations, lot of bus stops and campus shuttle to drop students off at late night hours at home.
Dislikes (Value for money): It is a private university, so expensive than other public universities but the perks like co-op opportunities and research atmosphere are amazing. Faculty are supportive and subject matter experts in their fields, the learning atmosphere is energetic and motivating!

Good University. Lots of Indians in Graduate studies
Tips: One should consider cost of living before moving here. Also, they should know about the programs. Think about the kind of classes you'll have, the chances to get work experience through co-op programme. Also, try to find places you can work while studying as it helps in managing expenses.
Likes (Quality of faculty): They teach well giving their own experiences as examples. They might talk a lot in class to explain things or they could encourage students to talk and share ideas. Sometimes, they use groups or do hands-on stuff like labs or project. They have quizzes for students too.
Dislikes (Value for money): Boston is costly for living. Rating Boston city college as a 3 for "Value for Money" acknowledges the city's educational prestige but underscores the financial challenges many students face. Students should carefully weigh the cost and benefits before committing to an education in Boston.

Pretty decent University with ample job opportunities.
Tips: You should be thorough with the curriculum before coming here. If you know what you will be studying, then it will be an upper hand for you. Scholarships are also available here. I am pretty much satisfied as everything I expected is happening with me here.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): You have so many opportunities to settle in this country. The draws change from time to time. You have plenty of opportunities to get a job in your field and get a PR. But in Toronto, it takes time to get a PR. Around 4-5 years, you will become a permanent resident.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): Faculty members are very approachable. But there are very few faculty members who are really good at teaching. They have this unique way of teaching and you will understand everything if you are just a beginner in that course. We have faculty members from all around the world here on the Toronto campus.
