- A minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or have a minimum cumulative graduate grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale associated with a previous master's degree. This includes classes from all institutions attended.
- Fulfillment of prerequisite competencies, by demonstrated knowledge as a result of undergraduate transcripts or completion of bridge courses.
- Math/Statistics — basic algebra, simultaneous equations, and basic probability and statistics
- Computers — basic word processing and data manipulation using spreadsheets
- Chemistry — background in general and organic
- Knowledge of United States environmental laws and regulations
- Biology and Chemistry — background in basic sciences these competencies will be determined or verified in one of two ways. 1) The student will demonstrate competency by presenting an undergraduate transcript that will show at least two courses in biological sciences and two courses in chemistry. 2) Should a student’s transcript not show such courses, the student will be required to take the appropriate bridge course and demonstrate competency with a test that includes relevant questions to those fields. Biological sciences and other relevant scientific information and competencies will be included. Chemical sciences and other relevant scientific information and competencies will be included

The University of Findlay offers great facilities for students from free transportation to meals.
Tips: The university helped students in every way, including providing scholarships, free meals, and free in-city transportation. The class schedule was very flexible, which allowed me to pursue my interests outside of class. There were lots of opportunities to make friends, and the school even took us on trips. There were so many events that it was hard to keep track of them all. I was a member of the crochet club, which was a lot of fun. There are a lot of free things available if you apply for them. I was very satisfied with the University of Findlay.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There aren't many Indian restaurants in the city, so I mostly ate in. There are a lot of fast food restaurants nearby, which is convenient for a college town. There are a lot of dining options within walking distance, and the prices are reasonable. Walmart is also nearby and within walking distance. The only downside is that the weather is a bit cold, which takes some getting used to.
