Yes, international students seeking admission to the University of South Florida need IELTS or any other English language proficiency scores. The minimum scores required in these ELP tests are given below:

Undergraduate: The applicants taking admission to undergraduate courses must have met any of the following requirements: 

• High school senior / high school graduate who never enrolled in college / high school student or graduate who earned dual enrollment credit or an AA degree but have not completed more than 11 semester hours of college coursework after high school graduation

Graduate

• The applicants must have an equivalent of bachelor’s and / or graduate courses from a foreign institute
• Minimum GPA of at least 3.0 is required
