An excellent institution with vibrant and inclusive campus.
Tips: Depending on whether a STEM subject is taken, internships are very important in the first and second years to apply for. Make sure you enjoy the first year and live it out if you can, make the most of it as it'll be one of the best years of your life. The second year is more difficult so be prepared for it. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the course and the country.
Likes (Post study jobs): There are many jobs available for students after university but they are difficult to achieve. Internships are hard and very competitive so I wish the university helped students secure or provide advice to help the application process better.
Dislikes (Part time work): The university does not offer jobs or part-time roles for students. I wished more on-campus roles or schemes in order to help students find part-time work, which would help applications, and students have an income whilst studying.

Challenging, global and career defining.
Tips: As the university is in the heart of the city, it does not have the traditional college campus vibes that Oxford, Cambridge or even Nottingham has.
The course gave me the opportunity to work with KPMG to do my thesis. A few students get the opportunity. Great opportunity.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Because the professors are leaders in their respective fields, combining deep academic matter expertise with real-world policy and industry experience.
Some of the lectures have actually shaped public policy and contributed to groundbreaking research breakthroughs.
Dislikes (Safety): London has seen an increase in small theft such as phone snatching and pick-pocketing. I faced a few such strange experiences not while I was studying there but years later when I was working, my phone was snatched in Liverpool Street in broad daylight.

The college provides a lot of opportunities through events, activities and seminars.
Tips: It's a great school and I've adjusted very well since being admitted. Unfortunately I wasn't awarded any scholarships so I've had some financial problems. The faculty is supportive and we are askedto attend many events here to build connections.
