History
NTU UK opened as the Nottingham Government School of Design in a rented house at Heathcote Street to address the need for a school to train students in Arts and Design. It moved to Commerce Square with the growing number of students. 1865 saw it move to the Waverley Building. In 1881, the University College of Nottingham was established to meet the modern-day requirements of studies. Post World War 2, it operated as the Nottingham and District Technical College. 1949 saw the opening of the Nottingham Farm Institute to train farmers and agricultural workers with new scientific skills.
In 1992, it was officially chartered and took over its present-day name, with Professor Ray Cowell taking over as the first Vice-Chancellor.

Undergraduate Requirements
50% in your 12th standard is enough to make you eligible for an International Year One Course at the Nottingham Trent International College. For a bachelor's degree, however, you would need a minimum of 65% in four relevant subjects (excluding native language). Some courses may also require a valid score in the SAT or the ACT exam. An IELTS score in the range of 6.0-7.0 is enough.
A score of 70% or 80% in 12th standard from either the CBSE, Maharashtra, Karnataka, West Bengal, Kerala, or Tamil Nadu boards means you don't need to submit English test scores.
Graduate Requirements
For a postgraduate-taught course, you would need a minimum of 50% in the bachelor's degree from a recognised Indian college or university.
