An Experience to remember
Tips: I did secure a scholarship, which reduced my tuition fees, and I was very happy with it. But shifting from one country to another comes with a lot of challenges as well. Challenges like language barriers, accent barriers, food limitations, cultural diversity, and many others were overcome over time.

Practical Tech learning. Great student experience. Life in Liverpool
Tips: Expect heavy independent study and coding. Transition is very smooth since it's a student-led city. Yes there are scholarships available. Kindly contact the student support team. I am very satisfied with the university. The professors are very supportive. The city itself is fun.
Likes (Value for money): The university is part of the Russell Group and the city itself is fun and cheap to live in. The tuition feels expensive, but it gives an overall experience that you will definitely enjoy and learn from. The whole city is student-led, which means most of the places have amazing student discounts.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): There is tough competition, and only the top 10 companies offer sponsorship. Usually, entry-level jobs pay like 24000 pounds annually. It all depends on how much experience you have. You should be able to build a great network, as network building will be the most challenging part.

Independent Learning, Real Growth.
Tips: The main thing to know before starting at ULMS is that UK Master's programs are heavily self-driven. Nobody is going to babysit your deadlines—you have to manage your time, tackle long reading lists independently, and stay consistent from week one. Moving to Liverpool was a great decision, though. The local community and international student body are exceptionally welcoming, which takes the stress out of adapting to life in the UK.
Likes (Student Life): 4/5 for Student Life at Liverpool: Unbeatable student city: Liverpool is lively, affordable, and revolves entirely around its massive student community. Easy to make friends: Highly international student body makes building a social circle seamless. Plenty to do off-campus: Endless events, great nightlife, cultural spots, and vibrant neighborhoods to explore outside lectures.
Dislikes (Value for money): Value for money gets a 2/5 simply because dropping £28,000 on a one-year Master's felt way too steep for the amount of actual teaching we got. A huge chunk of the course ended up being self-directed study rather than structured contact hours. When you're paying that kind of international tuition fee, you expect intensive face-to-face lectures, hands-on workshops, and direct industry connections—not just being handed a reading list and left to figure things out on your own.

A Great University Experience with changing market situations.
Tips: Moving to Liverpool would require them to be well prepared mentally and physically , as the weather is quite cold during the period of winter. Scholarships are available but will have to reach out pretty early to grasp it.I am satisfied with my course work but the job market is not favourable at current point of time.
Likes (Safety): I rated safety to be a 5 because the campus and student areas felt much secure with CCTV and security being around at all times. Liverpool felt like almost a 2nd home it welcoming overall, had no major issues and my time there cruised away quickly .
Dislikes (Post study jobs): I have rated post study job opportunities this low due to the lack of opportunities for international students. This necessarily isn't University's fault as students need to be well informed about opportunities are better for experienced individuals .

MSc in Human Resource Management (CIPD Accredited) - Batch of 2020

An excellent environment for academic and personal growth.
Tips: Do thorough research on the immigration laws. This is the part most students who come here with an ambition of landing a job forget about. If you're coming to this country solely for the purpose of education, I would wholeheartedly recommend it, especially Liverpool as a city. It is vibrant and beautiful with so much diversity and people from all backgrounds.
Likes (Indian Food): Liverpool is a beautiful city and has multiple options for Indian cuisine. I do cook for myself. It's still a struggle if you have to eat outside often; every student must learn how to do simple cooking, or your food expenses will be over budget. So finish some cooking sessions with your family before arriving.
Dislikes (Internships): There was good guidance provided on securing internships and jobs. There is a career service that provides CV checks too and helps you get to your goal. We also have internships on campus that pay you; some are related to your course, and some are generic student ambassador part-time job opportunities.
