History
While the university’s educational setup dates back to 19th century, it was in 2001 that it was given a University status. The university began as Cheltenham Training College then becoming the St Paul’s and St Mary’s Colleges in 1921, to becoming the Cheltenham and Gloucester College of Higher Education in 1990.
