About Lawrence Technological University
Founded in 1932 Lawrence Technological Uni is a private institution of higher education situated in Southfield Michigan US. Also called Lawrence Tech or LTU university originated from Lawrence Institute of Technology. In 1955 institution was shifted to Southfield to expand campus areas.

Amid the economic chaos of Great Depression Russell E. Lawrence founded Lawrence Tech which was later led by his brother E. George Lawrence from 1934-64. Initially known as the Lawrence Institute of Technology, the university acquired its now known name on Jan 1 1989, with the approval of the State of Michigan.
