Securing Resident Assistant (RA) or Teaching Assistant (TA) positions is quite competitive so plan accordingly. Finding part-time work is relatively easy; dining jobs offer $10 per hour with a maximum of 20 hours per week, which can cover living expenses if you share a room and budget carefully. You will be expected to bring out the best of your potential in the classrooms while being an active part of the community as well so all in all, you will be pretty busy. The city has a lot of interesting spots to explore but avoid eating out if you are planning on saving some cash. Overall, I am very satisfied with the course, college and the country.
