RMNLU Lucknow placement details of 2025 batch are yet to be released on the official website. The University has released the NIRF report 2025 which includes the placement details for the batch 2024. According to the report, 158 BA LLB (Hons) students were placed from the total 171 graduated students of the batch 2024 with a median package of INR 7 LPA.

For RMLNLU admissions students can apply through the CLAT exam portal (consortiumofnlus.ac.in) with the selection process for both BA LLB and LLM courses depending on the same. Students must also complete the course eligibility as shown here:

The cut-off closing rank for RMLNLU LLM in the General All-India category dropped to 277 in 2024. In comparison, the previous year's closing rank was 101 in 2023 and 108 in 2022. RMLNLU LLM CLAT Cutoff is released for every round of seat allotment. The closing rank is finalised only after the last round of counselling. Yes, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU), Lucknow accepts Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) scores for admission to its BA LLB (Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Legislative Law) (Hons) and Latin Legum Magister (LLM) courses. The admission process is based on valid Common Law Admission Test scores, followed by Common Law Admission Test counselling. The cutoff for the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Legislative Law (Hons) course in 2023 was 749.
The applicants are systematically admitted to the LLM programme at RMLNLU. Candidates have to first register and apply for the CLAT PG, which is the requisite test that allows them entry into the institution. After the declaration of the result for CLAT PG, candidates shall look for a cut-off list released by RMLNLU. Candidates who will meet the cut-off shall be considered for counselling. Upon selection, candidates have to complete the formalities related to admission and deposit the prescribed fee.

Eligibility for admission to RMLNLU's LLM course is based on performance in the CLAT PG examination. Candidates qualifying in the cut-off after the publication of the result shall be invited for a counselling process. A candidate may opt for the Institutions in order of preference during counselling. Seats shall be allotted through merit and reservation policy. Thus, the candidates selected in the list will have to go through the admission formalities like document verification and fee payments to confirm their admissions.
The total intake for the LLM programme in RMLNLU is 31 seats. The apportioning of the seat total would ideally be so made as to leave room for accommodating different categories for admission to the University. This will be a purely merit-based admission through the CLAT PG exam, followed by counseling. Yes, the RMLNLU follows a semester pattern. The LLM course in one academic year is divided into two semesters covering core and elective courses. The tuition fee for the LLM course at Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University has been kept at INR 35,000. An additional amount of INR 20,000 is charged as a one-time admission and caution deposit. Therefore, the total fee that candidates are required to pay to pursue the entire LLM course is INR 55,000.
