After the CLAT 2025 Revised Result, Round 1 seat allotment has been released by RMLNU Lucknow. Aspirants would have to decide whether they want to accept, revise or withdraw from the seat allotment process before the final date for the new counselling registration round gets over. Those who want an upgrade will be required to pay a confirmation fee to secure their seat at the institution.

The CLAT 2025 admission process, which is completely online, will be concluded after 5 rounds. The process included registration, merit list result and then the seat allotment process according to candidates' preferences. Candidates have the choice to either accept, upgrade or exit from their assigned seat at any counselling rounds. For those who accept their assigned seat, they can then pay the counselling and admission fee as needed to complete their admission process.

The applicants are systematically admitted to the LLM programme at RMLNLU. Candidates have to first register and apply for the CLAT PG, which is the requisite test that allows them entry into the institution. After the declaration of the result for CLAT PG, candidates shall look for a cut-off list released by RMLNLU. Candidates who will meet the cut-off shall be considered for counselling. Upon selection, candidates have to complete the formalities related to admission and deposit the prescribed fee.

Continuous evaluation and interactive sessions are included for further enrichment of the learning of LLM students at RMLNLU. The LLM course at RMNLU is offered in full-time mode and the mode of instruction is offline. Candidates must appear for the CLAT exam to take admission in the course.

The candidates applying to the LLM course at RMLNLU must meet certain eligibility criteria. Applicants having a three-year LLB degree or five-year integrated BA LLB programme from a recognised university. Candidates must have passed with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks to be eligible to apply. The candidates have to further qualify through CLAT PG, an entrance essential for admission. Accordingly, aspirants need to fulfill the eligibility criterion before applying through the application form in the LLM course at RMLNLU.

The highest package offered at NLU Lucknow (Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University) for the 2022 placements was INR 18 LPA. The median package for BA LLB (Hons) students was INR 6.55 LPA, while for LLM students, it was INR 5.50 LPA. The tuition fee for the LLM course at Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University has been kept at INR 35,000. An additional amount of INR 20,000 is charged as a one-time admission and caution deposit. Therefore, the total fee that candidates are required to pay to pursue the entire LLM course is INR 55,000. The above fee structure is provisional and therefore subject to change. Hence, it is taken from the official website/sanctioning body.

Out of the 2024 batch at RMLNLU, 24 students were placed successfully. In the placements, 14 students each got placed in law firms, while 4 went to corporate organizations. Further, 10 students got placed in the lawyers' chambers. The average package offered in the 2024 placements was INR 9 LPA. For general category students not from Uttar Pradesh, the approximate fees for the LLM programme at NLU Lucknow ranged between INR 1,50,000 to INR 2,00,000 per annum. However, these fees are subject to change and could be higher for non-reserved categories or applicants from outside Uttar Pradesh.
