RMLNLU Course Admissions 2026: Fees, Eligibility, Dates & Selection Process

Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University accepts the score of CLAT PG for admissions in the LLM course. Candidates need to qualify for the minimum eligibility index score in this national-level entrance test for admission. The postgraduate level entrance test CLAT PG is designed to test the knowledge of a candidate in various law subjects and its aptitude for analysis. It is quite necessary that marks in the CLAT PG fulfill the required cutoff for admission to the LLM programme at RMLNLU as admissions are made in tune with the merit list prepared on the basis of CLAT PG scores.

To get admission in NLU Lucknow, students must meet the eligibility and selection requirement. The eligibility is to have valid scores in last qualigying exams. The university considers the score of the last year's CLAT exam for the current year's admission. No, students cannot apply offline for NLU Lucknow. The application process is conducted in online mode. Students have to first register for the relevant entrance exams. The, students must register on the college potal and fill the application form.

The NLU Lucknow CLAT Cutoff 2026 was released till round 2 for all categories under the All India quota. For the PWD AI category, the round 2 for the BA LLB (Hons) course was 16485. The total intake for the LLM programme in RMLNLU is 31 seats. The apportioning of the seat total would ideally be so made as to leave room for accommodating different categories for admission to the University. This will be a purely merit-based admission through the CLAT PG exam, followed by counseling. Yes, scholarships to the candidates of SC/ ST/ OBC of Uttar Pradesh and also to the students of unreserved categories having family income less than INR 2 lakh annually are provided under various schemes of  Govt. of UP.

NLU Lucknow also provides the Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top Class Education for SC/ST Students. Under this scheme, five eligible students of the SC/ST category are provided scholarships which include reimbursement of full tuition fee, living expenses of INR 2,220 per month, books & stationery of INR 3,000- per year and computer/accessories up to INR 45,000 per year per student. 

To get scholarship at NLU Lucknow, students must meet the eligibility. The eligibility of scholarship for BA LLB students is the highest merit in CLAT along with A-Grade in Class 12 exams. Scholarship for LLM students, is offered to student with the highest merit in the CLAT with not less than 8.5 CPI/CPG in the bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.

The tuition fee for the LLM course at Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University has been kept at INR 35,000. An additional amount of INR 20,000 is charged as a one-time admission and caution deposit. Therefore, the total fee that candidates are required to pay to pursue the entire LLM course is INR 55,000.
