The eligibility criteria for the BA LLB Hons course at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow (NLU Lucknow) are as follows :
- There is no upper age limit for the undergraduate programme in Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).
- Candidates must have secured 45% marks or its equivalent grade in the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2 or an equivalent examination) if they belong to the General / OBC / PWD / NRI / PIO / OCI categories.
- Candidates must have secured 40% marks or equivalent in the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2 or an equivalent examination) if they belong to the SC/ST categories.
- Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April are also eligible to appear in the CLAT examination. However, they shall be required to produce evidence of their passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission, failing which they shall lose their right to be considered for admission.
- The result of the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2) shall be submitted by the candidate at the time of admission failing which the candidate shall be ineligible for admission to the Course.

NLU Lucknow BA LLB admission is entrance-based. To secure admission to BA LLB at RMLNLU, applicants must qualify for all the selection parameters. STEP 1: NLU Lucknow Application Process 2024
For admission to RMLNLU, candidates must pass the CLAT exam and complete the CLAT counselling process. The online application process for CLAT involves registration, payment of application fees, and document uploading. Candidates are required to pay an application fee for CLAT. The application fee is INR 4,000 for General/OBC/PWD/PIO/OCI/NRI category candidates and INR 3,500 for SC/ST/BPL category candidates. The following steps should be followed for CLAT registration:

- Click on "Click Here" to fill out the registration form.

To get the RMLNLU requires a strong score on the CLAT (Common Law Admission Test). Scoring around 70-75 in mocks can be a good starting point, being a OBC candidate, since some NLUs have reserved seats for OBC categories, which increases your chances to get the college for that reserved seat.
