Flinders University History
Flinders was first established between 1958 and 1965, a second university in Australia was being founded separately. Later in 1964, Professor Max Brennan was appointed as the Foundation Chairman of the School of Physical Sciences. By the year 1966, Flinders University was opened and first had around 400 students as well as 90 staff members on campus.
