History
In 1849, the Brisbane School of Arts was started as a recreation place. Moreover, after a few years in 1882, the Brisbane Technical College replaced the Brisbane School of Arts.
The Queensland Parliament passed the Technical Instruction Act, then the Brisbane Technical College was converted into Central Technical College in 1908. - Real World Scholarship
For UG and PG students, this scholarship will cover 20% of the tuition fee for 1 year of degree. Academic performance will be evaluated for the eligibility criteria.
- College Merit Scholarship
For UG students, this scholarship will cover 25% of first-semester tuition fees for the foundation program and diploma program. The eligibility for this scholarship will depend on the student’s secondary school results.
- College English Language Concession
To be eligible for this scholarship the UG and PG student's native language should not be English. Students will enjoy a relaxation of 25% in the tuition fee for EAP (English for Academic Purposes) and IELTS Advanced programs.
