History
In 1849, the Brisbane School of Arts was started as a recreation place. Moreover, after a few years in 1882, the Brisbane Technical College replaced the Brisbane School of Arts.
The Queensland Parliament passed the Technical Instruction Act, then the Brisbane Technical College was converted into Central Technical College in 1908.
