Q:   When are the intakes conducted at University of Technology Sydney?

A: 

There are three University of Technology intakes, i.e. Autumn, Spring, and Summer. The University of Technology deadline for Autumn intakes is 30 November, the Spring intake deadline is 30 April, and the Summer intake deadline is 30 August. The university doesn’t accept late applications so it is compulsory for international to apply for admission by the deadline.

Q:   What are the admission requirements for the University of Technology Sydney?

A: 

To apply for admission and study course at UTS, students must possess the minimum level of qualifications mentioned by the university. The eligibility requirements for Indian students are:

·      CBSE: Overall grade in the best four subjects is counted, where A1=5, A2=4.5, B1=3.5, B2=3.0, C1=2.0, C2=1.5, D1=1, D2=0.5

·      CISCE: Overall percentage grade average in the best four externally examined subjects

·      State Boards: A competitive pass percentage may be accepted

Apart from this, students also need to submit the score English Level Proficiency test score. Check below the list of English Proficiency test scores accepted at UTS:

·      IELTS (Academic/Online): 7.5 overall, speaking 8.0, listening 8.0, reading 7.0, writing 7.0

·      TOEFL (Internet-based/Home Edition): 102-109 overall, speaking 23-27, listening 23-27, reading 23-27, writing 24

·      PTE (Academic): 73-78 overall, speaking 79, listening 79, reading 65, writing 65

Q:   How can I get admission to the University of Technology Sydney?

A: 

To get admission to the University of Technology Sydney, students need to be eligible for matriculation. To be eligible to matriculate at UTS, an applicant must satisfy at least one of the following:

·      Must attend HSC or equivalent with an ATAR of 69, or

·      completion of one year of tertiary studies (must be full-time) from a single course within the same institution, or

·      Students must be at least 20 years of age as of 1 March for the year of intake

To be considered for admission, students must be eligible for matriculation, meet the English language requirements, and have an assessable qualification.
