International students are also required meet English language proficiency through IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo, PTE, or CAEL and pay the non-refundable Dalhousie application fee which is CAD 70 (INR 4,284) for undergrad applicants and CAD 115 (INR 7,041) for graduate applicants.

Note that the minimum average marks required to take admission into the undergraduate courses of Dalhousie University varies from course to course. So, it is advised to check the program-wise requirements as well as general admission requirements. For admission into undergraduate courses, you need to complete Grade 12. In case of admission into graduate programs, you need to have a bachelor's degree for admission into master's degree and for thesis-based master's degree or its equivalent for admission into PhD program. The university examines all students individually as per their complete application submissions. Some awards are offered as per academics and other achievements and some are based as per the financial need, and others are hybrid awards and consider the student's grade, involvement outside the classroom, and financial need.

International students can apply for Dalhousie University admissions through the university official portal and submit the required transcripts/ mark sheets to the admission department for evaluation and must pay the non-refundable application fee of CAD 75 (INR 4,287) for UG applicants and CAD 115 (INR 7,041) for PG applicants.
