History
The University of Calgary is a public research university established in 1966 located in Alberta, Canada. The university was formally known as the Normal School in Calgary and dates back to its roots around 1905. The primary purpose of the Alberta Normal School was to train primary and secondary school teachers and act as a satellite campus.
