The University of Milan offers a number of financial aid & grants to international students based on merit. With the aim of reducing the overall financial burden on a student, the institute wishes to ensure that finances are not a hurdle, in deserving individual’s educational journeys.
For the academic year 2025/26, the institute has announced 160 financial aids for international students enrolled in PG degrees, including:
- 60 Scholarships worth EUR 8,000 (INR 7.6 L) each
- 100 all-inclusive tuition fees total exemptions
To be eligible for scholarships, students have to apply to a Master’s degree program by the end of May. A formal email from the university confirming the grant will be received in July.

Yes, the University of Milan offers “Excellence Scholarships” to the best performing international students, who are enrolled in the first year of a Master's degree program at the institute.
The scholarship grants around EUR 8,000 (INR 7.6 L) each to about 60 students, & covers the entire tuition fees for about 100 eligible students.
