- EDISU Piemonte Scholarships: This scholarship is for international students enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s and master’s degree at one of the Universities of Piedmont. This scholarship is given to international students if they meet the merit and economic requirements of the competition.
- Bologna University Scholarships: Bologna university offers international students study grants to deserving students who wish to enroll on bachelor’s and master’s programmes. Through this study grants Bologna university awards a total of €11,059 per academic year and full tuition fee waivers.
- Padua International Scholarship Programme: The University of Padua offers scholarships to highly talented international students through its Padua international excellence scholarship programme. It awards a scholarship of a subsistence allowance of €8,000 and a tuition fee waiver.
- The University of Pavia Scholarship: The University of Pavia awards 150 tuition fee waivers, providing an exemption from the payment of university tuition fees for all talented international students. The scholarship will be given to selected international students enrolled in the degree programme in the 2024/25 academic year.
- Bocconi University Financial Aid: Bocconi University offers a range of scholarships to international students on a merit basis, enrolled in its bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes. The scholarships range from €12,000 per year for Bachelor’s programme to €14,000 per year for the Master’s programme.
- Politecnico de Milano Scholarship: Politecnico di Milano offers scholarships every year to meritorious international students. Students who get scholarships have to pay only an administrative fee of about €200. Scholarships of €5,000 to €10,000 per year are given on top of the tuition fee waiver.
Other Scholarships
There are many ways to avail of scholarships. Several external agencies offer scholarships to international students going abroad for higher education. You should see if there are any scholarships in your home country for students going abroad for higher education. Then, there are scholarships given by the Italian government. The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International cooperation allocated every year several scholarships to international students. These applications mostly open in May and close in June.

The IYT programme offers the opportunity to develop your skills through Masters's and Postgraduate courses taught in English at prestigious Italian universities equipped with the expertise to improve your academic, technical and professional skills. The scholarships under this program are offered to applicants to the 1st semester (September intake) coming from the following countries; Armenia, Azerbaijan, Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Mexico, China, South Korea, Tunisia, Turkey and Vietnam.
Under this programme, the beneficiary gets scholarships, partial or total tuition fee exemption, and student support services. The scholarships under this program are worth €8,100, in case of a two-year course, it can be renewed for the second academic year. As a general rule, there is no maximum number of scholarships per course and a full tuition fee exemption is given to IYT students.
