Massey University History
It began as the Massey Agricultural College in 1927, after the merger of the agricultural schools of the Victoria University of Wellington and the Auckland University. The New Zealand Agricultural College Act, also passed around during the same time. Geoffrey Peren took over as the principal of the college.
