Undergraduate Applicants: The applicants are required to have the equivalent of an Australian Year 12 certificate for most of the undergraduate courses. The academic entry requirements for Indian applicants willing to take admission to bachelor’s degree are given below:

  • CBSE All India Senior School Certificate with a minimum average of 65% in best 4 academic subjects
  • Indian School Certificate (ISC) with at least 65% average in the best of 4 academic subjects
  • Higher Secondary Certificate from the State boards listed as follows with a minimum average of 65% in best of 4 academic subjects: Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal OR Higher Secondary Certificate from Punjab and Haryana State Boards with at least an average of 75% in the best 4 academic subjects
  • Non-academic subjects and local languages are excluded

Postgraduate: For admission to ACU postgraduate courses, the applicants must hold an equivalent of an Australian bachelor’s degree from a recognised institute or university with a pass average. Individual courses may also have additional requirements.

Planning to apply to ACU? For PTE, aim for a score between 50–65. Chill courses might be okay with 50+, but anything in Health or Education probably needs a 58–65 at least. TL;DR: Check your course page before applying, just to be safe.
