- Punjab State Education Board (PSEB) and Haryana State Education Board (HSEB) exams, with a minimum grade average of 70% average across the 4 best academic subjects* in the final year
- Results in the following subjects/subject areas will not be considered as part of the 4 best academic subjects:
- All languages other than English

- Any internally examined subjects
