Student Visa Cost for Canada
If you wish to take academic, professional, or vocational training at a university, college, or any other educational institution in Canada, you will require a student visa in Canada before entering. This permit is issued to students upon arrival in Canada. However, to get there, a student must first apply for a Temporary Residence Visa issued by the Canadian High Commission which is facilitated by Visa Application Centers. MS Requirements in Canada – Eligibility Criteria
Candidates looking to pursue an MS in Canada are required to fulfill these primary requirements:
- Students must have a 3 to 4-year graduation degree in a related field
- Most universities require GRE scores for admission
- To pursue an MS in Canada, students must appear in English proficiency tests such as IELTS, TOFEL, and PTE; followed by a personal interview conducted by some universities.
- 1-3 years of work experience is mandatory for getting enrolled in a few Canadian universities.
Work Permit After Studying MS in Canada
Getting a PGWP (Post-Graduation Work Permit) in Canada for students depends largely on their chosen course and the course's duration. Permission to work under the PGWP is usually issued for the duration of the study program. The maximum length of the PGWP in Canada is 3 years. It means that if the duration of your post-graduate course is two years, you get a three-year PGWP visa. A postgraduate work permit cannot be issued for more than the duration of the program. The duration of the course should be at least eight months for you to obtain a PGWP permit in Canada.
