Established in the year 1962, Northern Alberta Institute of Technology is a government institution offering education in various disciplines of business, science, health and skilled trades. On 1st October 1962, the institution welcomed its first class of 29 communication electrician apprentices. In the year 1965, this institution hosted its first convocation ceremony.
