The UNBC Masters Tuition Scholarship is a graduate award offered by the university itself. This scholarship reduces half the value of the tuition fee units for the degree programme into which the student has been accepted. Students must keep a satisfactory academic standing to maintain the scholarship.

International students can choose from more than 100 courses at the University of Northern British Columbia. International students seeking admission to the University of Northern British Columbia can apply online to UNBC through its online application system, EducationPlanner (EPBC). Before applying, international students are advised to check the admission requirements and admission deadlines.

The University of Northern British Columbia has implemented an online Housing application and monitoing process. It allows international students to apply for accommodation at UNBC online through the comfort of their home. However, before applying for an accommodation at UNBC, international students must meet the below given conditions. 

• You must be at least 17 years old by the end of your first semester living in UNBC Housing
• To be eligible for Housing you must be registered in a minimum of 1 UNBC course for each semester you live in Residence
• All students under the age of 19 must have a parent or guardian sign the Residence Contract
• The Residence Room Deposit (CAD 275/INR 16,794) and the non-refundable Application Fee (CAD 26.50/INR 1,618) is required to complete your application
• Only complete, paid, and submitted applications will be processed
• After you submit your application the university will send you a Housing Offer. You must log back into the portal and accept your Housing Offer to secure your place in Residence
• All UNBC buildings are non-smoking (including Vaporizers, E-Cigarettes, and Cannabis)
