Chevening Scholarship Interview Questions and Answers – Candidates who are looking to bag the Chevening Scholarship would be required to appear for the Interview round.  The interviews of candidates would be conducted in cities with British Embassy/ High Commission representation. Hence, candidates would be required to attend the interview from the country he has applied for the scholarship from. He would be required to select a city of his choice for the interview that would have the British Embassy/ High Commission representation.

Chevening applicants will not be required to prepare any study material for their Chevening scholarship application, as the interview would be an opportunity to discuss some of the information provided in the application form. Common questions asked during the Chevening interview include applicants having to answer questions on their personal and professional aspirations and how Chevening can facilitate their future goals. Candidates must be completely aware of their courses as a discussion on course choices will also form an integral part of the interview.

Chevening applicants should be very careful while selecting their interview date, as only in exceptional circumstances will an additional appointment be made available. Failure to attend the interview on the scheduled date would result in the withdrawal of the applicant from the competition. Candidates are required to be present in person for their face-to-face interview round for the Chevening Scholarship. They must be ready to travel to the allotted venue as no interviews are conducted over skype unless in exceptional circumstances where an exception to a Skype interview could be permitted.

Applicants should note that they would be required to give in their best at the interview as there would be no second attempts for the same. Applicants can expect the Chevening interview results to be declared by early-mid June. Candidates are required to bring along with them their identification card preferably their passport.
