Worthwhile but lack of placement support
Tips: Miscellaneous charges and fees may change in a new academic year; transportation can be tricky, so reside close by and be ready to make contacts, as you may require TA or part-time instructor positions at the university. Food could be another challenge, so it's best if you can cook, as it's best in the long run.
Likes (Safety): Honestly, you have to be so careful with your stuff around here. My scooter got stolen right outside a restaurant in Brampton literally in the few minutes it took me to run inside and grab my food. The worst part is the place was packed with security cameras, but the cops basically did absolutely nothing about it and just let it go. Moving down to Brock University in St. Catharines, it’s a bit of a different vibe, but you still can't afford to be careless with your things. The campus itself is generally pretty safe, but the local police system overall isn't going to go out of their way to track down petty theft. Especially if you're an international student or newcomer, you can easily become a target if you're wandering into shady areas, so you just have to keep your wits about you and lock your stuff up.
Dislikes (Public transportation): Honestly, public transport here only really gets you to certain main spots, so you can't rely on it to get everywhere. If you want to get around fast without wasting a ton of time, you pretty much need to have your own car or scooter. Otherwise, trying to get to the less central areas becomes a massive headache. Get a free bus pass initially to reduce expenses of traveling, as owning a vehicle may initially be a very costly affair.

Brock University helps you become champions.
Tips: First thing to know is that there are no part-time jobs, so do not come here depending on it. Also, the university campus is friendly and the staff is welcoming. Students should know about the curriculum and other factors that can affect their studies in the long term as there is no going back after spending such a hefty amount on fees and accommodation. Thus, read everything carefully before joining the university.
Likes (Safety): Security was awesome as the university security guards and the authority were available all the time. In one of the incidents, one girl was eve-teased, she called for help and one of the security guards immediately reached her and gave her the assistance she required.
Dislikes (Part time work): Unfortunately, there were no part time jobs available on campus as all the jobs were full-time and were given to the people who were not students or were available for full-time opportunities. Even the teacher assistants were also from other universities. Thus, leading to no part-time jobs.

Academically oriented university with high standards
Tips: The university makes the transition easy as it helps you understand Canadian culture. Also, the students and communities get us acquainted with the city and the town. I didn't get any scholarships. But overall it's a nice university which is academically oriented.
Likes (Safety): You can always find security on campus at any time and the city itself is a safe place. Mostly it's a white people town. And moreover, people who live here are above 40 so the crime rate is low and the standard of living is better than the other cities.
Dislikes (Public transportation): The connectivity is very bad as the bus timing is every 30 mins or more and if you miss the bus you need to wait for the next bus for a long time. University provides with bus pass so that saves you money. Otherwise the bus pass cost about $130 - $140 per month.

A good learning experience, and one would not only grow educationally but also personally
Tips: There is some cultural shift, however, the transition is good and easy. The university makes it smooth and easygoing since the students are from diverse cultures and communities, so it is the university that organises such events where we get familiarised with the culture here. There were no scholarships available for international students.
If I would score out of 10 then I am 8/10 satisfied with the university.
Likes (Quality of faculty): I usually have 1 class per day which is for 3 hours and then there is a lot to do on campus. I usually go to the gym and then sit in the library to finish some books or study for the exams.
There are all kinds of events for the religious and casts, from Garba nights to Diwali, to middle eastern festivals and so on. Such events were organised quite frequently so I participated in a few.
Dislikes (Part time work): The faculty is always there for the help and they are ready to meet with students to solve their queries be it online or in person.
Teaching method was a mix of practical lessons via various real-life simulations and theoretical.
Faculty members belong to diverse nationalities, some are from India, Nigeria, China and so on.

Best professors from all over the world
Tips: It provides you with the best faculty from all over the world and also gives you the opportunity with the best co-op available in Canada. Students can also opt for student exchange where a student can enjoy learning in different parts of the world and also know about various cultures and languages.
Likes (Public transportation): Brock University is located a few Kms away from Niagara Falls. The location is so beautiful that once you start living there you never want to get out of it. The people there are so kind and always ready to help at any possible time. A student can find everything they need a convenience shop, party place, grocery store and whatnot.
Dislikes (Value for money): The faculty is one of the best that any university can have and there is no doubt that Brock University is blessed with the best professors. It is noted that the professors are not only from Canada but are from different parts of the world. It is very easy to communicate with the professors through student email or by scheduling a teams meeting which is easily available. Sometimes if the student wants to discuss any topic professors are available in person as well to provide special attention.

Practical learning experience with strong career focus.
Tips: Before joining MITT, students should be readied for a practical, hands-on-learning approach with regular presentations and group work. My transition was slow though adapting to independent learning took some time. I did not receive any scholarships. I'm overall satisfied with my course, university and country.
Likes (Public transportation): Honestly, the transit situation for MITT is super solid, affordable, and connects you everywhere you need to go. Getting to campus is incredibly easy because the Winnipeg Transit bus routes drop you right by the school and connect seamlessly back into the rest of the city.
Just keep in mind that since MITT has campuses scattered a bit (like the main one on Henlow), you’ll want to map out your specific route early on, especially when the winter hits and you're waiting around in freezing weather. But overall, the bus system is completely dependable, runs on time, and is easily the best way for international students to get around without breaking the bank.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Finding work in Canada is not impossible but honestly trying to actually land a job that sponsors your visa is a total nightmare. It’s especially brutal if you’re looking in sales or event coordination. You’ve got the massive names like Amazon or banks like Scotiabank and RBC that technically do sponsorship, but there are barely any spots and the competition is just through the roof. Most of the stuff you'll find is for sales coordinators or account managers, usually starting around the 40k mark—which, honestly, barely covers the basics. Getting that first break is just a massive slog

In my experience, one of the best college in Manitoba so far.
Tips: You should be aware of the scope of the course you choose.
You should have good
communication skills,
English proficiency.
Your typing speed should be 50 to 60 wpm.
You need some social skills.
You need to bring creativity.
You should bring your own thoughts to study,
don't copy-paste for assignments.
Likes (Part time work): We can easily get part-time work nearby college. In this college, you can do part time work because it's easy to study and work at the same time. I can easily manage my expenses.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Its good to take admission in this college because it is difficult to get offer letter from this college but easy for PR settlement. Take one or two year course. Moreover, its easy to get work permit through this college. You need to be careful with your studies.
