Good learning environment.
Tips: The programs here are decent and detailed but they lack approach in certain aspects. The faculty is very knowledgeable and has helped in shaping my perspective as well. Downtown is filled with activity and has some nice places to explore although the rent here is higher. Good for independent learners.

Good location and a good place to learn.
Tips: I have had an enjoyable and insightful journey here and I personally found the campus to be quite welcoming and happening as well. Everything here is quite accessible as well be it the metro, shopping avenues and pubs as well because the university is located downtown. A good way to socialize is through the clubs especially for international students.

Peaceful and quiet campus life.
Tips: The business programs here are very practical and conducted by very knowledgeable faculty who have a lot of experience in their fields. Networking opportunities here are limited and I've seen that internship opportunities are more as compared to full time job roles. Campus life is more peaceful and helps me in remaining focused.

My experience in CSU.
Tips: My experience here has taught me a lot about how to navigate in a different country, be independent and resource management as well. CSU is good with their flexibility and that they are project intensive if you are more of a practical learner as compared to theory. It can be better in terms of safety especially after sunset, so you should keep this in mind. Overall, a good place to learn.

Good place for learning.
Tips: My university does pretty well in certain programs such as in CS courses, although I have noticed several discrepancies in the way courses are structured and classes could be organised in a better manner. The environment is nice and relaxed and classroom sizes are also limited, allowing more interaction and verbal understanding. The theoretical aspects of my major could be carried out in a better format. Good place to upskill overall.

Fascinating learning environment.
Tips: There were culture shocks in terms of behaviour cues and expressions but people were kind enough to have an open mind and ease to them which made setting in easier. The coursework is really reading intensive but the extra credit work at times is more out of the box and interesting and helpful in boosting your grade so didn't skip that. Try to live as near campus as possible to save on commute expenses.

Tips: My experience in Texas state so far has been pretty positive here with good professors and peers. The faculty is truly knowledgeable in their fields and classrooms often have a lot of industrial knowledge included. Tips: I did experience several cultural shocks, but at small scales and nothing too out of the ordinary. People are friendly and open, which made things a bit reassuring. Classes are research intensive, but they could be conducted in a better format honestly. Scholarships are given out mostly on a merit basis, and it is helpful in easing the financial burden of the cost of tuition here. Some faculty is truly exceptional.
Tips: Location and cost of tuition are both on the higher side so make sure you have thought it through and explore your options as well. Very busy campus, and professors are helpful for job prospects and networking opportunities if you connect with them. Can be better in terms of safety.
Dislikes (Part time work): Limited opportunities for part time both on and off campus. On campus, you'll have better chances if you look at some of the less sought after options and if you're able to adjust it in your schedule while managing your workload as well. The quality of education is good but somehow the cost of tuition is unjustified. You'll get good access to internships and events and if you take advantage of it, it can really help you out. Likes (Student Life): The university offers a diverse student life with engaging events and clubs. Its urban campus fosters academic growth and vibrant community connections. There are varieties of student clubs that include almost every available field. The college is situated in the downtown is a main advantage

This university gives opportunity for your overall development.
Tips: Fully satisfied with the coursework and opportunities that I got. Scholarships are not available for this university. And as the course fee is already on the lower side it's manageable once you secure a job. As it helps you build your development, you can get into a student phase.
Likes (Indian Food): Every kind of cuisine is available nearby. Indian, Mexican, Chinese, Thai etc. But it makes your life easy if you cook for yourself. Eating outside would make the cost of living even more expensive. You can avail the on campus dining which goes easier on your wallet.
Dislikes (Internships): Location did help a lot and the likes of open career fair from our university and neighbouring universities like USC, UCLA, UC IRVINE did help a lot when securing a job. Tips: Internship support is limited. The faculty quality is consistent. Some professors were supportive, but not everyone. Academics (curriculum) at least for the MSIS could be improved as it only offers two tracks - ML & Cybersecurity. There is scope for improvement in academics. The vibe is good. Good energy and a promising campus.
Tips: Once you're in the US, it's important to be mindful of how you talk to people. It can be totally different than talking to people in India, and it can be a little tough adjusting to that. There are tons of international students at CSULB and I would say, if you are coming here, you should try to make friends with people from everywhere. Don't limit yourself to other Indian students. People in Long Beach are really chill, and there are tons of clubs and bars around the university to hang out at. There’s even a specialized gaming area on campus with the esports department, bowling, and more. Overall, I am highly satisfied with my experiences.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Immigrating to the US permanently was always hard, but after the Trump administration, it became harder. Permanent immigration after your studies doesn't depend on the university, but on you. It depends on factors such as getting a job and whether or not your employer wants to sponsor you.

Overall university is good enough in all aspects.
Tips: Do good research personally and get to know the information. Don't listen to the guys, who has no knowledge of the university you are choosing. Talk to the expert and analyze the situation. Have a complete report of each university you are applying to and compare the pros and cons based on your requirements. Then decide which is best. You can also grab the information about the university from their website or you can request extra information from the university service team.
Likes (Internships): For civil engineering lot of employees were offered internships and few days back career fare were conducted for internships and jobs. Now in USA there is a good scope for civil and mechanical engineering guys. Right now construction activity is booming up in the USA. I suggest Masters aspirants in civil and mechanical guys go ahead with a good university to kick start their abroad career.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): I am flexible with the situations, I can go wherever I want to in based on the probability and scenarios. It is a good choice to work here and get to know about the technology they are using and the procedures they are following. Apart from that permanent immigration is a big thing. So later on based on the situation only I can decide if I want to stay here.

Well infrastructured and good maintenance
Tips: About the fees, present faculty, and other facilities like sports, library . About the reputation and previous reviews and results about the college. Every one must know about the college. And we must compare with other college also.
Likes (Indian Food): College has a good canteen and we can get our traditional food too. Few of them will charge at low cost.We can get any type of food , they are very specialized in this. We have number of canteen with plenty of dishes, pasteries, bakery, thickchakes and drinks.
Dislikes (Value for money): Because, they charge more for fees. And they add additional charges like , library, laboratories fees and etc. And people in this college are not getting a quality education for the money they spend. And some things will be skipped in the academic year.
