MBA Global Healthcare Management and Leadership - Batch of 2025
4.7
A practical, supportive and multicultural learning experience at Coventry University.
Tips: Before joining Coventry University, students should be prepared for independent, practical learning and time management. I am satisfied with the university, my course and studying in the UK due to good academic quality and career opportunities.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The lecturers are knowledgeable and supportive with an approachable nature. They use practical industry oriented teaching methods and are easily accessible for guidance. The faculty is also diverse bringing international perspectives to the classroom.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): On campus job roles like student ambassadors, library assistants and hospitality support are available. These roles are usually flexible and designed to fit around study schedules. Many off campus jobs are also available like retail shops, cafe restaurants. Typical hourly based salary occurs around 8 to 10 approximately.

There are plenty of bus stops within in the city which makes intercity commute convenient.
Tips: Coventry gives you a chance to mingle with people all around the globe as you can find students from at least 5 different countries in 1 class. You get to experience different cultures as part of the transition and your exposure would be sky high. I didn’t avail any scholarships but it is fairly easy to secure one. You can get scholarships from 2000 pounds upto full coverage of your journey with Coventry. I’m satisfied with my university but securing internships or placements related to my current subject in focus proved to be very difficult for me.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Permanent settlement in this country is quite difficult to get, you need to work up the ladder. If your sole focus is to get a PR in the UK, then the route you take is very important. My chances were fairly high and I’d not permanently immigrate to the UK.

The UK is frequently challenging its immigration regulations.
Tips: Coventry University London Campus is situated in the Central London area, which is within walking distance of Liverpool Street Station. Considering the location in mind, it makes the living cost significantly high for students, due to the expensive accommodation. Also, the London campus has management courses generally and the one that opt "Global Healthcare Management and Leadership programme" is only available here and not in the main campus. Studies are also easy and you can get enough part-time opportunities here.
Likes (Indian Food): The university is located in Central London where Indian food options are limited unlike the other zones of London. Areas such as Wembley and Harrow have a good number of Indian restaurants which will not let you feel that you are away from India. Also, Indian snacks are easily accessible here but they are costly.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The UK is frequently challenging its immigration regulations, which is making settlement options more challenging. So, if you are coming UK to study, keep your options open for other countries like the Netherlands. After completion of your course, you can find work opportunities and better settlement options too.

Experience the uncertain environment of abroad studies.
Tips: Get shortlisted and go as an intern first before planning to go as a full time from your respective undergrad universities. Go and create strong connections and keep them in touch, in this life connections will decide your fate, otherwise you are bound to raw hard and luck.
Likes (Public transportation): Transport aboard is structured and on time. The driver is a little rude, he tells everyone to silent there mobile phones in order to maintain silence in the bus which is quite nice while travelling. If you really want to listen to something on your mobile phone you need to use headphones. Takes time to adapt to their type of diet. You need to keep in mind that you will always get juice as the first source of drink. If you are someone who needs water when you are thirsty you will need to carry your own water bottle or ask someone explicitly.

A supportive and career focused experience.
Tips: Before joining Coventry University, students should know it's a very international and career focused university, with strong academic support, so ask for support as much as you can, because they're always there to help. There'll be a lot of cultural shifts, so be reaching to learn and grow. I did receive an international student scholarship, which did reduce my tuition fees. I'm very satisfied with Coventry University, as it has given me quality education and global exposure.

A supportive and diverse learning experience at Coventry University.
Tips: Before joining Coventry, students should know that even though there is support from faculty, learning is entirely independent and the faculty will just guide us and the use of any forms of Gen AI for doing assignments will have a very serious consequences. And I am entirely satisfied with the university and the course. Also One major advice I would like to give is to understand the job market in the country before you come for Masters here if the job market and opportunities are less then your just wasting your money and I would definitely advice for people opting for Masters in IBM please don't come here if your choosing that course as almost all of my friends are unemployed and going back.
Likes (Value for money): The university provided a scholarship for 5000 GBP and for the modules they are teaching, the cost is very less compared to the service they are providing because there are faculty members and respective departments who will help you in each and every step for whatever problems you are facing.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The opportunities available for post study jobs are very competitive and mainly it depends on which field you are opting for because the field I have opted for has a good amount of opportunities and I am getting interviews. But many of my friends in fields like supply chain, IBM are not getting any jobs. But ultimately it depends on you that is how actively you apply for jobs every day.

The college is good for the growth and development of students.
Tips: The very first step for students is enrolling in university. Once they reach, they need to get an ID and access to all the facilities. They need to fill out the right to study form and also take the university's password for logging in to Aula. Aula is the platform where every update regarding lecture, timetable, assignment, and course case study will be given.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty is very welcoming, always ready to help in all things, they are kind to everyone. They treat all the student same no matter what background they come from. Moreover, after class help, students are free to communicate with faculty at anytime.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The life in London is so hard, and the crime rates is increasing day by day making it the worst place to live. However, the city bring lots of opportunities and practical exposure, the satisfaction ratio in job is very low, Making this the worst place to settled.

4.5
A brutally honest and good review about my uni.
Tips: The staff members here are super helpful and friendly. To ask for support, "Help is given to those who ask for it". It is also very good at offering scholarships, and giving membership for sports and societies. Worth joining. Support is given, you can book meetings with your lecturers at their availability, etc.
Likes (Public transportation): Easy to access public transport, because I've experienced this before. Travelled by train, bus and cycle. You can purchase train and bus fares online and gain an e-ticket or real life ticket to use on public transport. If you live close by, you can easily walk to the campus or cycle there, which reduces the cost of travelling by public transport.
Dislikes (Internships): Not many opportunities, but to gain, it should be asked for. Although I have tried to ask for opportunities from outside of the university, it hasn't paid off, due to high competition for positions. Although it is worth trying, as it will give you loads of experience and opportunities to try.

An MBA that broadened my perspective.
Tips: Students should know that the environment is strict, with a very strong focus on independent study and practical application. The teaching method was discussion-based rather than lecture-heavy.
Likes (Student Life): My experience was very nice. The environment provided a good balance between academics and personal growth; I always felt supported and engaged. A day used to include lecture group discussion and networking with fellow peers. There were regular academic workshops, cultural events, guest lectures, career fair and networking meetups.
Dislikes (Internships): For me, the internship was not satisfactory and the process is heavily dependent on their own network rather than receiving institutional support. Also, there is very much limited guidance. But there are general resources available for personalised support and mentorship.

The professors are excellent, the infrastructure is great, and the library is the best part.
Tips: Be prepared for a significant cultural difference and be open to accepting it. People here are sensitive; you should be polite and it's important to say thank you and sorry often. I received a scholarship of 5000 GBP, which I got by paying my full fees upfront. The professors are excellent, the infrastructure is great, and the library is the best part; I have access to it almost daily, and it provides space for work and socialising. I am satisfied with the university.
Likes (Indian Food): You can find Indian cuisine easily everywhere. Walking on any street in the UK you'll find good and cheap Indian restaurants and cafes with competitive prices. Regardless of your country of origin, you'll definitely find restaurants here. Public transportation is very good and you can commute anywhere by bus or train and it's also very cheap.
Dislikes (Internships): I've observed that only a few students secure internships. This isn't due to a lack of opportunities but rather the high level of competition. While I've only completed one semester, I believe it's not as difficult as it seems, but it's still very competitive. You need to prove yourself to get an internship. Otherwise finding part-time jobs can be challenging but you should be able to secure one within 1-2 months.

A valuable learning experience with unique challenges for international students.
Tips: The transition was generally smooth, although adapting to the academic structure and British culture took some time. The university does offer support when asked. I received the Phoenix Scholarship, which covers one year of accommodation within the student accommodation. To qualify you just need to pay 50% of the first-year fee before August for September intake. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences.
Likes (Indian Food): I live in Coventry City Centre, which is within a 2-mile radius of the university. There are lots of restaurants to choose from, and many of them are inexpensive. South Asian food is especially popular, and it's easy to find a restaurant that serves it. I prefer to cook for myself, but I do go out to eat with friends at least twice a week.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Currently, there are no jobs, and recently the government changed some policies that affected the companies to take international students for work, as we will have 2 years of post-study work visa the employers always need at least 4 years of visa for the student to be selected.

Tips: I came to a new country and had to adapt to a different culture. I received a 3000 pound scholarship and an early bird discount of 2000 pounds. I am satisfied with the academic and living expenses, but it is difficult to find part-time work.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation is available 24 hours a day on some routes. Uber and Bolt cab services are also available all the time. Bus service costs 2 Pounds, and the student card makes it even cheaper. Bus service is available to other cities, and train service is good until 11pm.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Post-study jobs depend on your years of experience and your ability to negotiate your salary during the job interview. One of my seniors got a job after completing the course and the salary package was decent but they are not currently sponsoring her.

Thriving in a diverse and supportive learning environment.
Tips: Before joining Coventry University, students should know it's a diverse vibrant campus with strong industry links. The transition can be smooth but expect a cultural shift with more independence and a focus on self-directed learning. Scholarships are available and I received one based on academic merit which provided a partial tuition fee waiver. I'm satisfied with the university, course, and the UK's multicultural environment which offers great opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Likes (Public transportation): I rated public transportation a 5 because Coventry University is well connected to the city via buses and trains. Decent college with a good Desi community.
Tips: Students should know there is good food and decent accommodation available. The airport is close by and there's lots of variety of shops. There will be a cultural shift since you have to share your accommodation with people but it will be a fun experience. I did not get any scholarship but it is fine. However, I would rather prefer to do an M.Sc. at a better-ranking university with more opportunities.
Likes (Public transportation): There is a good facility for public transport. There are buses every 20 minutes and they have an easy payment system on the bus where you can just tap your card. If you are travelling multiple times you can also buy a day pass which gives you unlimited travel for that day also students get discounts on monthly passes.
Dislikes (Internships): There are no internship opportunities for M.Sc. but there is an option to extend a visa if you get an internship but no one gives an internship to M.Sc students in the UK. The internships I found were only for Bachelors or for students from Ivy League colleges. Even if you get an internship it has to be approved by the college.

Coventry University is value for money.
Tips: Coming here brought new experiences and some cultural shifts. University support made it smoother. And also after coming here I worked hard for my life and did part time jobs to study and also do my homework myself. I got a scholarship through good grades. It helps with expenses. I am happy with my university, course and life in this country.
Likes (Safety): University provides good pathways, emergency security and safety seminar. Coventry City, like any urban area, has its mix of good and challenging experiences. Good experiences include exploring cultural diversity and friendly locals. On the flip side, occasional concerns may involve navigatimg crowded areas or late-night travel.
Dislikes (Student Life): At the university, I spent my days attending classes, studying and engaging in various extracurricular activities. Tips: This university is very diverse and offers many great opportunities for students. Teachers do their best to support and the facilities are very beneficial for the students such as the large library space on campus. Bursaries are available for students if needed.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): There are options available which allow students to study internationally. There are many courses for them to choose from and support is available financially. Teachers are always available to provide guidance to students on what would be the best route specifically for them to reach their goals.
Dislikes (Student Life): It is close to the city centre where there are restaurants and places to relax with friends. There are many shops that students enjoy spending time in they can purchase clothes and resources as required. There were many societies at the university that students could get involved with and make friends.

University is located in the heart of central London
Tips: Students coming here should be aware of what exactly they are looking for. Please don't just go because you want to do Masters. There will be a big cultural shift coming from India. Though I did avail of a scholarship but still can argue that the course was not worth the money I spent. University website has all the details about the course and scholarship.
Likes (Public transportation): London has one of the best if not the best public transport in the world connectivity-wise, though it is quite expensive. Lately, after COVID-19, there have been transport strikes quite frequently, which has affected a lot of people especially the working class.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): No company offered sponsor visa for work and placement was not that helpful. As I completed my course in covid times which made it very difficult to find a job, especially for the course as it was directly influenced. Coventry is high-tech and modern
Tips: I didn't avail any scholarship personally but I guess there is a good scholarship given to full-time undergrad students from India around 3000-4000 pound waiver on tuition. I love the library of this university it has almost all the books ranging from academic to non-academic. The updated journals are available and the staff also help us to source through e-resources if required. The classes are fully modern and so is the overall infrastructure. Lecturers are from around the world and they are very supportive and kind. The focus is more on industry but if someone wants to go for higher education professors love that and provide more support. A student, if they like, can even assist the professors with their research since they are constantly writing papers. In general I would say that there are many opportunities it's just about the direction you would like to take.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): It takes five years to obtain a permanent settlement visa here and for students like us who will take up a job here after graduation will be on a tier 2 visa so there is no problem with that. Personally, I like this country it is diverse and has good opportunities for growth and raising a family too. Be it education or healthcare everything is top-notch so getting a good job should be the priority, that's how one will permanently settle down in the UK.
Dislikes (Student Life): Coventry is very modern and I mean it. It is advanced, it has high tech labs with adequate resources, good student bodies and clubs and so much to do with your friends on campus. There are multiple clubs like photography, reading etc. and anyone will find a club that relates to the individual's hobbies.

College and stay were good but the hype is too much.
Tips: Adaptation is key. During my tenure I saw many people also return for two reasons: either they saw little value from the course, or the money and the effort didn't seem worth it and lastly, you have to do really small jobs to sustain yourself. They say equality of labor but you rarely see Australian kids on any of these jobs and this is across the board.
Likes (Indian Food): I was mostly eating out, it's slightly expensive but you have all kinds of options available; there are many north and south Indian restaurants available across. You also get groceries easily if one likes to cook. But food is not a constraint and multiple options are available, from Indian standard, it may seem expensive but it is manageable.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The place has global exposure but the job opportunities are rare. Internships and job opportunities are almost never available in the field and people from backgrounds like tech / cyber security work in pubs/restaurants or aged care - labour jobs

Good university and faculty.
Tips: There are a couple of scholarship opportunities available, though not many. The cultural shift is a major one, but you’ll probably settle in in no time. Adelaide is a really peaceful city and settling in will be pretty easy and fun. Rest, the city’s full of hubs and fun centres for roaming around.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The teaching faculty includes numerous PhD holders from really diverse backgrounds. All of the staff are open to discussions and the teaching is really inclusive. Appointments with professors are easy to get and emails are responded to on time. The tutors are also really cooperative.
Dislikes (Part time work): Although the part-time jobs are usually manageable with studies, it is difficult to land any on campus jobs. The availability is low and demand is high, so on campus employment is a little tight. One can look for jobs off campus, though with effort, on campus jobs may also be available.

Good university with strong academics and practical approach.
Tips: I didn’t face any sort of cultural shift, as there are a lot of Indian students in the university. Explore Australian culture as well and learnt a lot of new things like work-life balance from them. I availed a 30% scholarship by maintaining a final year and individual CGPA and SGPA of 8+. Overall, I am very satisfied with the university as they genuinely believe in learning practically and the application of concepts. Adelaide is extremely safe in terms of Safety, and Aussie people are really helpful in every aspect and welcoming by nature.
Likes (Public transportation): I have my house located at Magill Road, and the bus stop is right next to my house, which directly takes me to the University Bus Stop. That is the best way of transportation. If you are travelling to a far place with a group, it is better to book an Uber or DiDi.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I prefer cooking my own food as it saves on cost, and there are several Indian restaurants nearby if I don't want to cook. Specifically: Chakna bill for two is 60 dollars, Bombay Spice 50 dollars for two, and Chatkaaz $50 for two.

An international local experience.
Tips: Prospective students should go through the course curriculum beforehand to ensure they set their expectations right for what they are gonna be studying in the classes. There are scholarships available that are provided on merit. The current university is transitioning into the new Adelaide University, so there are a few things which are still being worked out, but hopefully it will all be settled soon.
Likes (Student Life): There is so much going on in the university. Every other day, some activity is happening on the campus; it's up to you if you want to participate or not. Student engagement activities, informative sessions, giveaways, and other well-being activities are a few to list.
Dislikes (Public transportation): There is a robust network of public transport connections from the university to other locations. Trains and tram services are available in limited areas, which can increase travel time using buses. The transport services are not so expensive, and special concession fares are available for students.

There are no compulsory placements or internships.
Tips: University is very accommodating, so the transition isn't difficult. They try their best for a smooth transition. The University of Adelaide and Unisa are emerging, but it is their utmost priority that this transition is seamless for all students and staff. Though one must pay proper attention to academics from the start. I got a 30% scholarship from the university. Details about all the scholarships are available on the university platform. I got it with my offer letter. Some need to be applied for separately. I am very happy with the university and the city. Love my experience here. But at times, I feel my course could have been.
Likes (Student Life): Love the university's encouraging, positive, and motivating environment. I appreciate the flexibility; students can have a flexible timetable and balance academics with a personal life, part-time work, and relaxation. The university hosts many events, including cultural, club-based, festival events, and most are open to all students. These events are really fun and cover social, cultural, and field-based interests like project management, finance, and computer science societies.
Dislikes (Internships): There are very few internship opportunities, with only 2-3 openings per semester. There are no compulsory placements or internships. Securing an internship is highly competitive, and the university's support is limited. I am currently in my 3rd semester and, as such, do not have much exposure to job opportunities.

Great place for personal and professional growth.
Tips: Before enrolling thoroughly examine the course content and subjects. Don't make your decision based solely on the course name. While the professors are knowledgeable, lectures tend to cover the basics. If you're a dedicated student, schedule appointments; professors are happy to delve deeper into the subject matter.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): Visa options are great and the post-study visa is sufficient. The PR pathway is relatively easy compared to the USA or the UK. Many companies are willing to sponsor you if you have the necessary skills. Keep track of the skill occupation list and apply at the right time. Consider taking the PTE for your visa application while in Australia.
Dislikes (Internships): The university has a career services department that posts jobs and internships but the promotion and marketing are insufficient. Most students are unaware and those who are aware often outnumber the available internships.

The availability of on-campus part-time work is limited.
Tips: Mostly it was about understanding how Australians function, learning their lingo, and observing their interactions. Because of academic excellence, I received a 30% scholarship, which covered almost an entire year's tuition. I've had positive experiences and would recommend Adelaide to students.
Likes (Safety): Student service and mental health support are excellent. Most faculty members are helpful and patient. There are many understanding people, and you will be treated as you treat others.
Dislikes (Part time work): The availability of on-campus part-time work is limited; there are more opportunities off campus. It's manageable, but it depends on your course. If you're studying something like medicine, you likely won't have much time to work. With working restrictions for international students, you can likely earn around 1,500 per fortnight, which is sufficient for personal expenses.

it's a great place to meet people from different countries and get to know about their culture.
Tips: Students should research more about the campus and clubs that can help them during their course. This research can also help them land part-time jobs sooner than expected. It's also good to know more about the local culture and language, as some of the words are slightly different from what we use back home.
Likes (Safety): There have been very few incidents concerning the safety of international students. It's better to stay close to the city as these crimes take place in the outback. There are situations where you might work in a service station, and you might notice a shop theft. It's better to report to the cops, rather than fight with the shop lifter.
Dislikes (Public transportation): There is no proper suburban connectivity through public transportation. The public transport is also not that frequent when you compare it with Melbourne or Sydney. One advantage here is that you can use the same public transport card that can be used for trains, trams and buses.

Very few internship opportunities but great student life.
Tips: Before joining this university, make sure you understand that you are required to struggle as a student. Studying abroad is not for those who want things to be easy and are lazy. You will not only be required to study but also do your own chores and possibly more as well as work. Finding work in Australia, along with the visa restrictions, is going to be hard. I would recommend practising your English, and doing all your chores and maintaining an active lifestyle before coming to Australia. Making an appropriate resume and CV is also recommended. Also, remember your goals. You are here to study and create a life. Find a balance between having fun and studying.
Likes (Student Life): There are going to be a lot of events within the campus and meet-ups that will happen every week in order to keep you motivated and entertained. You might be able to make a lot of friends, depending on how social you are. The types of events vary from cultural to hobbies, depending on what you are looking for. Almost anything you can think about will have a club or community at the university. My personal favourite is going to be the Japanese club meet-ups. Being able to practice Japanese with native Japanese speakers was a great experience.
Dislikes (Internships): The university does have internship opportunities however, there are only a few opportunities that you will receive in your 1.5 or 2 years here. The opportunities also are a long shot and 90% of the time won't get you to even an interview due to lack of experience .

Amazing all-rounder university.
Tips: Just use the university and the facilities it provides to you. Don't be afraid to challenge yourself and step out of your comfort zone. There will definitely be a big cultural shift, but the important thing is not to be afraid and give yourself time to adjust to it. I am very satisfied with Australia. Being a big lover of sports, Australia has great sporting events, and the weather is great too. My course is very nice too, it's challenging but has the right amount of everything.
Likes (Student Life): Lots of activities to do, lots of clubs to join, amazing connections and events in the university. Different types of activities with different types of people and clubs are organised, giving people a lot of exposure. I really enjoyed going to the events and meeting new people. Our university has all sorts of clubs, from academic ones to social clubs to sports clubs. There is something for everyone.
Dislikes (Internships): The university helps you with building your resume, cover letter, and with interviews, but that’s about it. Our university doesn’t have a lot of industry connections like UNISA. However, that will change after the merger. They do offer you a mentor program, and that is very handy.

Exciting, fun, loving and interactive experience.
Tips: I got a Global Citizenship Scholarship, which waived 30% of my fee because I had an overall good profile as I was a professional athlete back in India. I am very satisfied with my course and this new country. There were not many cultural shifts that I had to face, and there are a lot of Indians living here, so they were pretty helpful and introduced me to everything.
Likes (Safety): Safety is top-notch. Everything is accessible to everyone, and during the night after 9-10, not many people walk or go for a stroll in this city. They are usually sleeping, and most shops and restaurants close, so that's why there aren't many incidents happening.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Few companies offer sponsor visas, and as Indians, it is a bit tough to get jobs or interviews through resumes. We need references as well. The job roles of my specialisation, which is marketing, are also very low.

The university of Adelaide is a place with great opportunities.
Tips: I'm really satisfied with the university because of the organisation of the institute, friendly faculty, and wide range of networking and professional opportunities. You get to witness various cultures in and around the university, as well as in the place. The course is also good for learning and gaining exposure.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty was great and provided help on a timely basis. They would respond swiftly and also help you to find answers on your own, helping in self-development. The faculty were also friendly and welcoming, and they knew the answers to the questions.
Dislikes (Internships): There are internships available but a bit limited due to fewer options in SA. It is mainly because the biotechnology field is upcoming and still developing. So because of that, it makes it difficult to obtain internships. Mainly, it is due to a smaller number of companies, which causes fewer opportunities.

The University of Adelaide will be created after the merger in 2026, so choose wisely.
Tips: Adelaide being a pretty small city doesn't have a lot of options when it comes to literally anything. It becomes very selective and limited. Make sure you realise that early and get prepared for it and don't keep your expectations too high when studying at a so-called prestigious university.
Likes (Student Life): Student life is pretty good with several events conducted by the international student support and lots of club activities happening throughout the year on campus. There are more than 50 different clubs for sports, culture and activities that you can sign up for.
Dislikes (Value for money): I rated a star on value for money as the total cost is around 70000 AUD after receiving a 30% scholarship which is simply not justified for the quality of teaching or the faculty. I have had personally the worst experience working on a research project with a supervisor who doesn't care a dime.

An expensive dream come true.
Tips: I got a scholarship of 30% of my total college tuition fee. Living abroad is tough and very expensive. Students should understand that the tuition is a small part of their total expenses. The cost of living per annum in Adelaide is INR 20 lakhs minimum. Please consider this before making a move to study abroad. A bottle of water can cost you INR 200 so please consider a cost of living that is 5x that of India.
Likes (Indian Food): Indian food is available in abundance anywhere in the world. You will find a lot of eating very expensive options so be very careful. I prefer to cook all my meals which in itself can be a lot of work because that also involves washing dishes etc.
Dislikes (Value for money): Compared to other universities for post-graduation study abroad, the University of Adelaide is highly affordable for a university that is ranked in the top 100 in the world. There are also plenty of opportunities for a scholarship. The teaching faculty and amenities are brilliant. Don't settle for a university that's cheaper in tuition fees and compromises the quality of your education. It's an investment for your long-term success.

Adelaide University - Rewarding in the long run.
Tips: I did get a 30% scholarship with my admission. The transition was a bit hard for me as I was working previously for more than 2 years, so I did take some time to get used to doing assignments and part time work. Once you get a job and are settled in, you start to enjoy life. It can be a bit overwhelming at times, since we have a lot to do and there is very little time for everything.
Likes (Student Life): The best thing I like about the university is the people. They are very warm and welcoming. The University has great lecture halls and an ambient space for everyone. The assignments can be a bit cramped together so it can get a bit tense. On the flipside most of the professors are understanding and can get you an approval for extensions.
Dislikes (Internships): Internships are available but they are pretty hard to land. The university does have a job portal where internships and part time work are listed, but most of the time, they are exclusive to native students. There will always be more than 200 students applying for each job so competition is a bit high.

University that has gone down in it's global ranking list.
Tips: Please make sure to check the Ashok Khurana Scholarship for Indian students joining in January intake. I was not able to apply for this as I came in June intake. The transition was initially hard as the university can be pretty stressful with assignments and exams. Working part-time to earn enough for living expenses adds to that stress even further. But as months pass, we will get used to it and go with the flow. We'll also learn to manage time and become independent. University is great with lots of engaging activities if you are interested in participating. Engineering courses could get stressful compared to management courses. I'm not sure about the other courses. I'm also not sure of how things will be once this university merges with the University of South Australia. It has already gone down in its global ranking. Adelaide is a small town with a slow life. Everything closes before 5 pm and there isn't much to do after that. Not the kind of place for people looking for an exciting night, like I believe. It's peaceful and calm.
Likes (Student Life): I haven't spend much time in University after semester 1 due to part time job. But before that I used to enjoy going to networking events organised by the uni. The University is excellent in terms of the services it provides. Plenty of events and communities for students to network and engage with others. They also provide free access to a Computer. Printing services are charged a small fee.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There aren't many good Indian restaurants in Adelaide. Those that are there aren't authentic and could be expensive. A meal can cost around 20-30 dollars. Most restaurants have North Indian Cuisine and there aren't many with a South Indian menu. I prefer cooking at home to save money.

The university is more research-focused than academic.
Tips: I was able to get 30% off my tuition based on my grades from my bachelor's. However, I am not satisfied. This university is more research-focused than academic. None of the lectures is mandatory because everything is recorded. The university also takes plagiarism very seriously.
Likes (Part time work): Working off-campus for students is a great option, but there's a limit of 48 hours per week. Finding jobs can be challenging, but everyone seems to manage. If you're going to work cash jobs, make sure you provide those to the taxman. Full-time work is often paid monthly, but most other gigs pay bi-weekly. The hours are easy to work around my studies, and I make about 1000 AUD fortnightly.
Dislikes (Internships): There is a support system for internships, but they will only help you with resumes and cover letters, nothing more. You can do an internship, but you have to find it yourself. Also, if you want units for that internship, then it has to be unpaid. Paid internships are considered in your working hours.
