Worth the struggle. A source of holistic development.
Tips: Slog hard, enjoy harder.
The course taught me more than what I expected. I enjoyed every bit of learning and gave more attention to detail to excel at it.
The university is inclusive and so is Australia.
It wasn't as easy to acclimatise to the difference of just the sheer number of people you're surrounded with in the subcontinent, it felt empty, but I soon got into clubs and made connections that served me well.
Likes (Student Life): Cultural diversity, eventful, green campus and great sporting culture. It is a great place to be and one can be sure that you'll get at least something out of the campus that interests you and draws you in. With me it was the tennis club, events at on campus accommodation and a humongous library.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I don't find authentic Maharashtrian cuisine options much.
Otherwise, Punjabi and South Indian food are the most common.
I often did weekly meal preparation on weekends but tried out continental and oriental cuisines too.

Curtin will make you feel like home in a different country.
Tips: Be clear about what you want in your career and make the most of your student life. While in Perth, explore as much as possible and make friends. Follow Curtin public accounts to keep updated on what's going on university and be a part of everything in the university.
Likes (Public transportation): Curtin University have two main bus stands which are time stops, that means every bus will stop in these stands and wait until the time of departure mentioned on the website. We also have an app to track the bus location. Above mentioned is the public transport and also we have something like CABS which is a Curtin bus, it will connect all the areas of the university and surrounding suburbs every 15 minutes.
Dislikes (Part time work): The university will have programs like Work Integrated Learning (WIL), where you can land unpaid or paid internships. University Hub is a website that is a mini LinkedIn or seek for Curtin students to find part-time jobs, internal university jobs and internships. I rate 3 for part-time because most of the students don't know about these, even though so many events are organised for students and it is quite competitive as well.

Amazing experience, surrounded by great people coming from multi-cultural background.
Tips: My transition was initially very chaotic as I arrived a week late and missed orientation week, so I had to figure everything out myself. However, I received very good support from my university, where their student mentor team helped me settle down in Perth and on campus. Regarding scholarships, all international students receive a 25% scholarship on their first year's tuition fees at Curtin. Besides this scholarship, you can also check for need-based scholarships on the Curtin website. I am very well satisfied with my university and course, as there is more practical learning experience here than traditional pen-and-paper theory. The country has not disappointed me in any way, and I would highly recommend it to people who are willing to work hard.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation in Perth is great because on Sundays you get free rides on buses, ferries and trains. Also, there are special CAT buses that run internally in the city, which are free even during weekdays. Most of the suburbs are well connected with the buses and trains, but after 6 pm, the frequency gets reduced. There's a helpful app for Perth's public transport in which you can put your stop number and get the details of the schedule of the Next bus or train, as well as how much it would cost. This makes it easier to plan your trips.
Dislikes (Internships): All the other universities in Australia don't have a placement system, like Indian colleges. There are career fairs in universities that are held, but most of them are mostly networking events and do not give you actual jobs. Especially if you are an international student, unless you have a Course Weighted Average of 80% and above or higher and have completed at least two years for a Bachelors's degree and one year for Master's. Your chances of getting an internship through a university are next to impossible.

Not worth the money, look out for better options.
Tips: Curtin University is quite easygoing, and they provide scholarships to every student. The food is good, but expensive. You get a variety of options, including eating food from back home. Personally, I would prefer cooking my own food, which would also be healthy for both my health and finances, but it can be time-consuming for us international students. Which is better, though, really comes down to your own preference. As far as satisfaction, I'm satisfied with Australia, but I wouldn't say that about the course itself. It's not worth the money. It makes getting permanent residency unlikely, and it doesn't support internships.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): You’re better off studying a diploma course than this master’s course because there’s a good chance that you won’t get permanent residency in Australia with this course. I’d suggest a diploma, which is more likely to lead to permanent residency in no time. That will not only save you lots of money, but it will also lead to a permanent residency opportunity, which will make your money go a lot further.

There are events on campus like mentorship programs, career fair and food festivals.
Tips: I have not experienced any cultural shift as I was not raised in India and I was raised abroad throughout my life. But, students may experience cultural shifts coming from India for sure. I'm currently not on any scholarships but I'm sure there are scholarships available. I'm very satisfied with my university experience and the country but I'm not really satisfied with the lecturers from the IT industry/computing department at this university. Although the cost of living is expensive, the quality of life is really great here and very comfortable. The infrastructure is great too and people are friendly here.
Likes (Student Life): I spend my day by walking up early and going to the gym, then going my classes, and then coming back and revising the notes from my classes, socializing with my friends. The lifestyle at university if great especially if you live on campus as everything would be nearby like for instances the gym, football fields, library, the bus stop etc. There are events that are organized on campus like mentorship programs, career fair, food festivals, hockey games, start of semester/end of semester parties and many more which are great opportunities to make new friends at the college. There are several student clubs and communities on campus. There are clubs related to what you study, religious clubs etc.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are not many Indian restaurants in Perth. So, you will have a hard time eating outside if you want Indian food. In the locality, there are fast food restaurants, sports bars, and other restaurants with prices between 20-50 Australian dollars. Food is pretty expensive in Australia. I prefer cooking myself but I normally eat outside as I'm not very good at cooking.

A transformative and enriching experience at Curtin University.
Tips: Students should know that it is important to take advantage of the support services available on campus like academic counselling, career services, and student clubs. I availed the academic merit scholarship that gave 25% off my first-year tuition fee, which can be availed during your admission if you are eligible. The eligibility criteria is to secure more marks than the admission requirement. I am pretty satisfied with my experience. The university focuses on practical learning along with theoretical knowledge, this is something that provides valuable skills to grades.

A great place to learn and grow.
Tips: Students should know that the college offers a supportive learning environment, an active student life and good faculty members but it also expects you to be disciplined and manage your time well. Getting involved in clubs and activities really helps you to grow and maintain yourself.
Likes (Indian Food): I can definitely say that the food here is absolutely delicious. You will get different types of food, also with great taste. Many restaurants are not too far from the college. But I mostly prefer to cook myself case it's expensive out there although I sometimes eat out.

A practical, student focused university with strong career exposure.
Tips: Students should be aware that this college places emphasis on independent learning, practical application and self discipline. Academic support and resources are widely available, success depends on the student's initiative. Students should actively seek internships and part time. The opportunity is solid but not strongly guaranteed or structurally embedded in the program. Students can get internships but the outcome heavily depends on individual effort, timing and market conditions rather than university driven placement pipeline.
Likes (Part time work): Part time opportunities are widely available, legally supported and realistically manageable for international students both on and off campus. The university offers on campus part time for international students. Off campus students' access to wide part time opportunities such as a supermarket.

You will be better off knowing multiple people and building connections.
Tips: Most of the students are Indians. It feels like you went to Kerala to study. Join multiple activities, connect with multiple people. Don't be afraid. Other Indians might judge but that is fine. Not satisfied as much as I want to be.
Participate in meetups and network events.
Likes (Safety): Cambridge is safe. No crime. Apart from bicycle theft, there is nothing you need to worry about. I used to go to the gym at 12 AM and return on a bicycle or by walk home at 2 AM. There is no security at all but there is no crime. In my 3 years in the city, I never heard of any crime except for bicycle theft.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): There are very less number of companies that offer sponsorship currently. The immigration rules have changed drastically. Given that still Cambridge is still home for the NHS which still takes students and sponsors them.
Mostly jobs are high for Biology biotech, pharma, and related students. Cambridge and NHS and Adenbrooke's hospital work together in multiple biotech research. And there are a lot of pharma companies as well.

The university is great. Teachers are good. Atmosphere is lovely. Definitely recommend it.
Tips: There was a cultural shift. I took me 2-3 months to get adjusted here. I have got a scholarship of 4000 and got a 1000 discount for early bird payment. I feel it was a good decision of moving on here, the country is nice as well.
Likes (Indian Food): I prefer cooking myself but there are many restaurants including Indian, the cost is around 10 per person. Ordering food online is quite costly. Groceries are not that costly if you know how to cook, then food is not expensive here. I live in London, one can experience food from all the world here.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): I would definitely love to permanent live in the UK. It has vibrant vibes, work life balance is good. People are good, salaries are good. Getting a sponsorship job is a bit difficult, but with consistent effort it's not that hard to crack. One should be mentally ready for the challenges.

It’s a great place to grow, study and live.
Tips: For international students, Aru provides visa guidance, cultural integration programs and pre arrival resources to ensure smooth transition to life in the UK. Understanding Aru rules of attendance, grading and student conduct is essential to avoid any academic and disciplinary issues. This is a safe place to live and study, not just for international students but for everyone. The environment for international students is also welcoming and safe. I have good experiences in terms of safety. There’s also a special community for student safety. Overall, I am highly satisfied with my experiences.
Dislikes (Part time work): It’s very difficult to get a part-time job without references in the UK. International students aren’t skilled according to UK-based culture and requirements, and references play a large role in hiring. International students aren’t aware of the current market trend in the UK.

A student friendly university in a student friendly city.
Tips: The city is beautiful and student-friendly, and there are lots of things for international students to do. It usually takes a bit of time to get into the culture of the city and everyone has been very friendly on campus. I also got an international scholarship of 4000 pounds waived off of my tuition fee. The only downside is that living expenses are very high, comparable to London. But the city has a lot to offer, and I would definitely recommend Anglia Ruskin University to other students. I'm completely satisfied with Anglia Ruskin University and my course.
Likes (Student Life): There are many clubs and communities that are organised on the campus based on the country and interests like movies and sports. There will be only 2 to 3 hours of classes each day and the remaining we can spend with our friends on campus and develop our social skills. The faculty in the university is pretty decent, but there are a few members who are not teaching at the highest level. The staff is very helpful during assignments, but the lab staff is not as helpful when it comes to answering our questions.

My university was nice and has lot of facilities for international students. Great global exposure.
Tips: Anglia Ruskin University is a good choice for a university that provides great global exposure and great value for education. The course fees are relatively low compared to other universities and student life is nice. The university is located in Cambridge which is a safe and easy place to get around. The student union is there to help you and it will be a completely different experience once you move abroad. It will be really good for your future if you are looking for some international exposure and want to learn about other cultures and other countries. I would say the UK is the best place to start.

Great faculty but very less internship opportunity.
Tips: I'm finding it pretty easy to settle in at this university. There aren't a lot of scholarships available, but in the first year, you have a couple of options. My course of study is pretty good compared to basic courses like MBA and BACS. There are a lot of Indian options everywhere and the food is pretty good. You can find a lot of Indian stores nearby if you need any groceries, and basic supplies are everywhere in convenience stores like Tesco, Sainsbury's, Co-op, and Waitrose. If you are used to cooking, your experience won't be hampered in terms of food. Overall, the experience is quite good.
Dislikes (Internships): The internships are not provided to you, but you can find them yourself with help from the university. The courses are based on the principle that you get what you put into them. Your major focus should be on networking and meeting new people to get new opportunities.

Best for business related courses.
Tips: Dedicated support for all international students. We have friendly staff and they help us in opening the bank account and they provide different options to work while studying. The campus is located in a walkable location from the city centre where various food courts and a good sports bar are available for students to relax in their free time.
Dislikes (Student Life): In the beginning, you're still largely connected to a group of friends but as you proceed you need to focus more on classes. This will improve your understanding of the course and requirements. All cultural activities are organized and students from different nations will be happy to show their presence it will be 2-3 days of an event and everyone is so excited to be a part of the programme.

It's a good college for the people who are passionate for studies.
Tips: Students must be aware of assignment making. Assignment is the only task, apart from exams and practical, which students are supposed to focus on. Don't be afraid of them, just give time to the assignments. That will help you with your further job or start-up.

College is safe and nice faculty, excellent and very helpful.
Tips: Don't overprepare. Just be ready for college, as it's already excellent and will motivate you. Scholarships are available, and I received one. My experience was amazing, and there was no cultural shift for me.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The staff and faculty are amazing and wonderful. The teaching methodology is great, with 100% concentration. The teaching faculty is highly diverse, non racist, and never discriminates. They treat everyone the same.
Dislikes (Part time work): Part time work is low, and the work itself is not very effective. I would not recommend pursuing a job. I would suggest internships. Part-time work is not efficient, and the average quality is very low.
