A friendly and academic-oriented experience.
Tips: Students are going to get the best experience possible if they try to relax and learn a little French before coming. I also had a scholarship through my university, which gave me a 10,000 EUR discount on my tuition fees. I think the most unique aspect is their blend of practical and theoretical learning. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experience.
Likes (Safety): I have a strong network within the college and study there daily. I've joined two student associations, TEDx and Open Up. I most enjoy the social aspect and friendships. There are events throughout the year, whether festivals, soirees, or special events, and they are all great.
Dislikes (Student Life): The faculty are very well-qualified and always available to help. They have a good study curriculum. While most teachers are French, they have extensive international experience and speak English well.

Intense courses, active campus life, and early scholarship wins.
Tips: If you're considering applying do it early. The university has strict deadlines for scholarship applications, and applying before March significantly increases your chances. In fact, almost everyone who applies before this date receives one. The courses are rigorous and demand independent preparation. Don't expect an easy pace you'll need to research topics in advance to get the most out of your classes. Make it a habit to read textbooks from the library and watch YouTube lectures. The campus stays vibrant well into the evening, with students around until at least 8 p.m. most days. There's always something going on, whether it's study groups, events, or casual meet-ups.
Likes (Post study jobs): Most companies offer visa sponsorship but the job market is competitive, so expect to send out hundreds of applications before getting a response. Many roles require at least some French, but the university offers language classes to help, and reaching B1 from a beginner level is very achievable. The career centre also provides strong support with CVs, job searches, and interview preparations.
Dislikes (Part time work): The academic workload is intense so most students choose not to take up part time jobs. I am not aware of any on-campus opportunities, but there are restaurants and bars nearby where you can find work. The college doesn't place any restrictions on part time employment as long as it doesn't interfere with your studies.

It is a great university with a diverse faculty and a beautiful campus.
Tips: You need to know French. This is the only requirement if you want equal opportunities as other students. It is not a good-to-have requirement. I emphasise that students who do not speak or understand the language should refrain from applying to the institution.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty is extremely helpful to international students, they are very responsive and do care about the welfare of the students. You can always write to them or book an appointment at the office for any issues. Their measure to ensure student needs are well looked after is very high.
Dislikes (Safety): The campus is located in a town outside of Lille called Roubaix, due to the high concentration of immigrants the city is not safe for children. There have been several instances of theft and being held at knifepoint for money. It is not recommended to step out alone after dark as the streets are not safe but if you live in Lille then it is okay.

EDHEC is swiftly rising up the ranks because of the student career centre.
Tips: I recommend learning basic French before attending EDHEC Business School. While it's possible to get by without French, it's the only way to fully integrate into French culture. EDHEC offers many scholarships, which are easy to apply for and receive. I've received multiple job offers even before graduation because of EDHEC's reputation in France.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty both visiting and permanent are Masters of their fields. The pedagogy is to learn while you're practicing, so you understand concepts rather than mugging them. The faculty is very approachable and you can meet them anytime with an appointment. They are very diverse and are from all around the world.
Dislikes (Part time work): If you don't speak French, it's difficult to find part-time jobs off campus. However, on campus you can apply for TA positions and internships that pay well. If you don't speak French, you can work in Indian restaurants off campus, which pay around 100-150.

EDHEC Business School has everything to offer to your personal & professional growth.
Tips: Students should be open to exploring people, food, culture, etc. Your cohort will be diverse and will be equally talented as you. Be open to learning new things, on a professional and personal level. Double down on your French language proficiency. Although you will be all right speaking English to integrate better within the campus and the city, make a serious effort to learn French. This will help boost your professional side as well during the job interviews.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation is very convenient to get by in and around the city. There are buses, tramways, and metros to help you travel seamlessly. Also, one single transport card would be sufficient to travel anywhere in the Lille metropolitan area. With the student discount available on the transport card, it is the most optimal way to go.
Dislikes (Indian Food): No issues, particularly if you cook your food. When planning to eat out, although there are several Indian restaurants in Lille, the taste will not be close to what you might be used to eating back home. A majority of the Indian restaurants here are run by people from our neighbouring countries, so if you go there expecting an authentic taste of Indian food, you might be disappointed. That being said, those are the only options, so you might try them as well.

The college is good but lacks in providing student life.
Tips: French people are nice here, they can be a bit among themselves but if you make the effort, they can be nice to you. I got the EDHEC 15% scholarship, almost like everyone else in my batch. I am satisfied, it was what I expected, and it taught me things I am thankful for.
Likes (Indian Food): I was able to find Indian food at several restaurants in the area. The prices were a bit of a shock, but I was able to find what I was looking for. The grocery stores only had Chole (Pois Choices) and Rajma (Haricots), but I was able to find some Indian and Asian stores that had a wider selection.
Dislikes (Student Life): The sports facilities are reserved for French students. The slots provided always crash with mandatory French classes for international students. On raising this issue with authorities, was told to focus on learning French, as apparently, sports are not important enough.

Good city with good networking opportunities.
Tips: Before joining EDHEC, students should know that there is a language barrier and that they'll be studying in an international environment. The course is good, with a focus on both corporate and market finance. Do give a GMAT for scholarships. The public transportation is very good, especially for the Nice campus. Finally, the education is excellent, and you'll learn a lot.

You will get to learn a lot about business and diverse cultures.
Tips: Students should know that learning French should be a priority. Be prepared for a new experience in your academic life. It's different from India's academic structure. Coming from India, you would find everything expensive here, so you should learn how to cook, especially if you are a Vegetarian.
Likes (Public transportation): Good connections of bus, tram and metro. Lille is very cheap, you can buy monthly travel passes which could cost around 20-30 Euros. They are also safe and convenient. For students it is very cheap and the best mode of transportation. City Mapper and Google Maps, work well for assistance.
Dislikes (Internships): The guidelines given by the Career Centre were good but there is a huge language barrier in France. You should start connecting with your seniors and other alumni. They will give proper guidance on how Indians can land an internship in France or Europe.

The student life at EDHEC is great.
Tips: Students should be aware of the importance of knowing the French language and how people meet and greet in general is different. The school does provide scholarships for 10-50% of the total tuition fees. I am feeling optimistic about the opportunities that the school and the country provide and feel happy with the experience so far.
Likes (Internships): Almost every Indian that I know have received internships in good brands and the career centre did help us a lot to receive the internship. The internships vary from consulting to banking to marketing and also human resources, the opportunities are endless but we just have to understand a bit about the right door to knock at.
Dislikes (Part time work): There was a huge language barrier, as my knowledge of the language was limited, the opportunities for part-time jobs were less, and the school did not provide any part-time jobs/research opportunities from their side. Also, the part-time work schedule would be a bit clashing with the timings of classes.

Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievements prior to joining the university.
Tips: The culture of Dubai, where you'll find everyone from different countries and other cultures, is considered one of the best things about Dubai. Everyone will be treated equally regardless of their nationality, religion, etc. Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievements prior to joining the university. As Murdoch is fairly new to the Dubai market, the campus, compared to others, is smaller in size. Nevertheless, the community is strong among the students as everyone is well-connected with each other. The teaching faculty is very diverse, as there are professors from all around the world. Dubai is constantly growing. As the city competes with other world markets, the opportunities and quality of life continue to rise. As someone who experienced school in both India and Dubai, I can honestly say that I prefer Dubai and would highly recommend that students who are looking to migrate choose Dubai.

The campus offers modern and small classes, offering a more personalised learning experience.
Tips: Before joining Murdoch University, students should have an idea that it offers a globally recognised AUS degree in a supportive and multicultural environment. The campus offers modern and small class sizes, offering students a more personalised learning experience. The university hosts various workshops, networking sessions and career expos, which will help students in finding jobs. There is no option for having a PR in the UAE, however, you can search for jobs during your university course to find a good, sustainable job that will provide an employment visa to stay in the country even after your graduation.
Likes (Value for money): Murdoch is offering one of the cost-efficient courses without a requirement for compulsory work experience. When compared with its contemporaries and the options provided in terms of early bird discounts and general discounts available, it is a no-brainer.

Excellent place for learning and growth.
Tips: Things that were different were that classes are only 3 days a week or max 4 days, and I can customise my classes and units, so if someone doesn't want to do Math in my semester, they can do it next semester in September. Another thing is that it's mostly application-based learning, so memorizing concepts won't help to succeed unless a student understands what's going on. I got a scholarship, and it is given on the basis of grades scored in the Board exam. The more grades a student gets, the more scholarships the university offers. I am fully satisfied with my university as it teaches my subject cybersecurity from basics to advanced covering both theory and practical. I am also satisfied with the UAE because Teach events are held every 2-3 months, where big organizations come. That's helpful for students to gain mentorship from experts.
Likes (Post study jobs): I spend my day in college by watching pre-recorded lectures and reviewing the lecture material before going to the lecture so that I can engage in the lecture according. Then I attend my lecture, ask questions and then meet my friends and talk with them. I enjoy going to college, tech events such as Hackathon and CTFS, where I collaborate with my friends and professors. My college organises events every month, some are related to tech, while others are related to other majors, such as business. Also, Guest lecturers are invited who are in the industry and working as leaders. There are the Tech Club, Gaming club, Chess Club, etc.
Dislikes (Public transportation): The faculty are highly qualified, and they are ready to help students anytime they approach them. If we have doubts, we can simply approach them and clear our doubts. The teaching involves practical learning as the concepts that are taught in lecture, we apply the same in the labs, and it also includes active participation in class by conducting activities and group discussions among students. Also, the professors use Analogies to explain challenging topics in IT. The teaching team is very diverse from all around the world, my professors are from Egypt, Australia, the USA, India and many other countries around the globe.
