University is good and staff is experienced and very helpful.
Tips: This university is good if you are coming from any other country, as the city is friendly and you feel a lot safe and happy. The only drawback is that the social life sucks, and you can feel the difference as you can get shocked by the various culture that goes around Exeter.
Likes (Safety): The security and nature of people in Exeter are very nice. All of them are friendly and always help if they think you are in trouble, and they are very kind, so it's a lot safe in Exeter, also, at night, you don't feel threatened, only if you encounter a drunk Brit on the weekend, who will always say something or the other way around.
Dislikes (Value for money): There are many other universities that are far better than Exeter and have so much more value, like Leicester and other universities. The only positive is that it comes under the Russel group and it's quite peaceful. But the city is dead, no social life, no fun at all.

Great university and great facility.
Tips: Before joining the university, please make sure you find an accommodation that is in a place and get a contact for 1 year. You can get a scholarship, but that is not too much. Please apply for it so you can get some discount. It is very expensive, just give it a thought and try for the north side universities.
Likes (Part time work): On campus jobs are hard to get, but there are a lot of other off campus jobs like cafes, bars, restaurants and all, and you can find a job here pretty easily. You just have to be presentable and make sure you know what you are doing in the interview, and you can secure a part time quickly.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): This city is great, but it doesn't have options to settle because it is one of the most expensive city to live in, and this includes transport, parking, house, food, and you don't get tasty food, it is just below average, and you have to struggle every day to do the minimum.

Tips: Search for scholarships; I received a 5,000 scholarship. Apply before the deadline. The scholarship amount will be deducted from your tuition fee. For example, my tuition fee was 27,500, and after the scholarship deduction, it became 22,500. The UK is truly a place with much to learn.
Likes (Safety): Exeter is a very safe city; in fact, Devon County is considered one of the safest regions in the UK, with a very low crime rate and no racism. I truly enjoyed my time in Exeter. As a part-time worker, I used to work as a cashier, and the people here are very polite and often offer compliments.
Dislikes (Value for money): The tuition fees are very high; don't fall for the trap of Russell groups, like I did. No one cares about which university you graduated from; ultimately, landing a job depends on how well you can showcase your skills to recruiters.

Exeter is an incredible university with highly knowledgeable and experienced faculty.
Tips: Many scholarships are available; I received the Dean's List Scholarship, a 3000 award and more options are available. The multicultural environment offers lots of growth and work opportunities. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the university; it is very professional and modern.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): The 2-year Post Graduate Work Visa requires sponsorship. While permanent immigration is possible, it's not easy. Consider the benefits of being a temporary or permanent resident. Focus on your mental health and happiness; the university offers support for various issues.
Dislikes (Public transportation): Walking is the most convenient way to get around Exeter, as buses are infrequent. The university has some shuttle options which are free that run multiple times a day from various locations.

A rewarding experience – fun, learning, and growth at Exeter.
Tips: I didn't experience a major cultural shift; everyone, including the local and university community, was welcoming and supportive, which made the transition smooth. I did not avail myself of any scholarships. Studying at the University of Exeter was both enjoyable and enriching, offering a great balance of academic and personal growth.
Likes (Value for money): The tuition fee was well justified considering the quality of education and student experience at the University of Exeter. The academic resources, Industry-relevant tools, and engaging assignments made learning effective and practical. Exeter offers great value for money, and so does the university.
Dislikes (Indian Food): As an international student from India, I found many culturally rich restaurants in the area, including Thai, Chinese, Mexican and traditional British Cuisine. While I personally found the British food a bit bland compared to what I'm used to, I thoroughly enjoyed exploring new flavours, especially Thai & Mexican dishes. Being a food enthusiast, I made it to a point to try different cuisines to understand the culture better. Prices were generally reasonable for the quality and variety offered. One interesting adjustment was noticing how global chain like McDonald's and Pizza Hut have menu that cater to local taste, which was not a surprise honesty as I traveled to a new country, Although I enjoy trying new food, I prefer cooing at home and typically ate out only around 20% of the time.

Companies are reluctant to sponsor visas, especially in the current economic climate.
Tips: The transition in my first year was very tough, especially because most Indian undergraduate students here come from the upper class, and there is a very visible class divide amongst them. Moreover, many home students also come from families with generational wealth, and that is a huge cultural shift after moving here. If you are from a middle-class or lower-class family, the best thing you can do is find like-minded people who would support you instead of looking down on you for wanting to be independent. That's what I did, and it worked out best for me. As for the city, I love the vibe here. I was a bit sceptical about moving to a small, quiet town as I come from Mumbai, but once I got used to it, I started to appreciate the peaceful quiet.
Likes (Safety): Exeter is a small town and one of the safest cities in the United Kingdom. It does get pretty quiet, but I personally have not felt very unsafe walking home late at night alone or with friends. There is campus security available to protect students, as well as different services for anyone walking home alone at night.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): It is very common for international students to move back to their country after their graduation from the University of Exeter or completely change their area of interest just to get a job in the United Kingdom. The most common reason for this is that the companies are reluctant to sponsor visas, especially in the current economic climate.

A top 10 campus uni in a small city in south west England
Tips: Exeter is a small city, many students who come here assume that it's gonna be as big as London which isn't the case. It is very small and you can literally walk everywhere. The population is mostly dominated by students so it is very safe that way. The faculty is excellent, and you can always reach out to them for any doubts via email or book office hours with any professor. The unique part of studying in Exeter is that the seminars are very hands-on and interactive with other peers as well as the professors.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Exeter is a small city that is easily walkable and is safe for international students. There are a few places that serve good Indian food, including Gandhi and Namaste Exeter. If you prefer to cook at home, you can find Indian groceries at Mess and Heera.

There is a lot of potential to explore at the University of Exeter.
Tips: If you're planning to study in the UK and hope to secure a job afterwards, having at least a year of experience in any industry is recommended, as many UK companies expect candidates to have a minimum of one year of experience. I arrived in the UK at the end of September and struggled to settle down with part-time jobs, so I would advise arriving a month earlier. The Christmas period is typically the peak time for part-time job vacancies, especially in retail. A few things you need to know is Sainsbury's has cheap products, look for free stuff at student accommodation and university. Don't forget to apply for scholarships. I received the Global Excellence Award, which granted me 35,000 Dollars. The application process is simple just fill out a form on your university website. Once you're at university, take full advantage of all available resources. These might include employability workshops to enhance job skills and English classes that offer trips on writing assessment, which is particularly useful for those who haven't done project-based work during their undergraduate studies. Stay connected with your lecturers and tutors if you're stuck, reach out to them for help rather than relying on coursemates. Be proactive in participating in university activities and aim to earn awards like the Exeter Award to enhance your CV. During university break, start applying for jobs using platforms like Career Zone & Handshake. Keep an eye out for casual roles like matchday staff positions while they may not pay a lot, they can help cover basic expenses. Healthcare in the UK is generally good, but health insurance doesn't typically cover ENT issues. Make sure you have emergency medicine. Exeter is a wonderful place to start your journey. It's a small town with great natural beauty and student facilities. Unlike larger cities like London or Manchester, Exeter offers a peaceful atmosphere, which is perfect for focusing on your studies. Likes (Indian Food): If you are a student who can cook, you will be able to find all kinds of cooking essentials in Continental and Heera stores. However, the prices are a bit expensive, so be careful when you are purchasing. If you are a student who prefers to eat out, you will need to adjust to eating the usual store-bought foods. If you are picky, you can go to one of the Indian stores. Restaurant Indian food is very expensive. For example, an onion dosa at Namaste costs 11.50 pounds. So be prepared and eat all your favorite foods before you come to the UK.
Dislikes (Internships): Internships are mostly available for Undergraduates, with only 1% for Masters students in Devon. If you are willing to travel, the availability increases to 4%. However, unpaid internships or jobs at the university are beneficial for job hunting.

The university has a great reputation and provides amazing student life.
Tips: Students should be on time. Reasons won’t work here for being even 2 minutes late. People respect each other's time here, unlike back in India. Researching scholarships like Common Wealth and other university-funded scholarships will help you reduce your fees. Overall, be ready to self-learn and use university resources as much as possible.
Likes (Part time work): There are plenty of part-time jobs available on and off campus. If you can get an internship or contract work in your field, it will give you good experience and prepare you for your permanent role. You can work part-time at a warehouse, supermarket, or restaurant to cover your living expenses but don't expect to cover your tuition with your part-time earnings.
Dislikes (Public transportation): I rated low on public transportation because of randomly scheduled public bus cancellations without prior notice, thinking it would be ideal to have a private vehicle. The cost is reasonable with day passes sorting you out for part-time jobs. Weekly passes would work out if you travel as often during breaks while working full-time 40 hours.

Tips: Before joining the University of Exeter, it's important to be aware that the campus is located in a relatively small city, so the pace of life is quieter compared to larger metropolitan areas. The university is known for its picturesque setting, surrounded by hills and greenery, which provides a peaceful environment for studying. Transitioning to life at the UoE was a smooth process for me. The university offers excellent support services, which makes the adjustments easier. However, I did experience some cultural shifts. Coming from a bustling city, it took some time to get used to the quieter, more laid-back atmosphere of Exeter. I also did avail of a scholarship for around 35000. The application process is straightforward and easy. There are always many options for scholarships. I am very satisfied with the course and experience I had at the university. And as I am living in a very busy city now, I can say the years I spent in Exeter were the time to remember.
Likes (Public transportation): The university campus is a 15-minute walk from the main city center. I prefer walking because of the beautiful roads, as the campus is surrounded by hills. If we talk about transportation, there is a bus every few minutes from almost every part of the city to the university campus.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Exeter doesn't have as many Indian restaurants as you might find in other cities, but one standout is Namastey Exeter, a South Indian spot that quickly became my favourite. Their dosa are particularly good and reasonably priced. During my time in Exeter, I balanced dining out with cooking at home. For vegetarians, the dining options are most limited.

Dynamic learning and vibrant campus life at the University of Exeter.
Tips: Before joining this college, students should do some background checks and choose the right course. I received an academic scholarship of 35000. I also received a CFA scholarship from the University which helped me to add further value to my academic qualifications. I'm quite satisfied with my course and the University. The professors are very helpful and they want the best for you.
Likes (Safety): The University of Exeter has its own university bus which runs up late at night from the university to the City centre, so travelling back from the university at night was not a safety concern. Other than that, the University of Exeter also has its own night line which helps students in case of any emergencies.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Considering the market and political conditions, not many companies are keen on sponsoring international students. But based on the graduate visa one should be able to get you some relevant work experience. I'm not really sure if I want to permanently shift to the UK considering my interest in the field, and I want to work in various other countries that seem more promising than the UK.

Tips: Students should be aware of the culture, lifestyle and understanding the accent. My whole lifestyle has changed now. You don't have to worry about it much because you'll get used to it after coming here. The university also offers some scholarships so make sure you give your best essay and add in all those social efforts you have put in.
Likes (Student Life): Exeter is one good city for having a fun student life. There is no discrimination because when it comes to post graduation it's only international students in most of the classes so it would be pretty good. There would be a lot of events which will go in all around the year and I would suggest not to miss out on them.
Dislikes (Internships): There are guidance available but it depends on how a candidate use the available resources. There is no placement opportunity but they give good amount of guidance from the Career zone. I did not make enough use of it so it took me 8 months to land a job in the UK. But I suggest you to start working early onwards.

Tips: All students who intend to join this university in UK should do a thorough research about the specific program they are interested in. This is important as one university might have a higher rank in the university rankings for a particular course (let's say an MBA) while it might be ranked lower for an engineering program. This university is part of the Russell's group of Universities and has a good overall ranking among other universities in the UK. It's located in the South-West part of England and is not a fast-paced city like London or Manchester. This is also something one could take into consideration while applying. There are big cultural shifts you would observe here but that's alright as people are friendly here. There are scholarships available which you can avail which require mostly an SOP and some other documents.

Tips: I suggest students make friends with locals at university and part-time, for a better understanding of British culture. Students should know about early scholarship opportunities available on the university website. Overall it is a good university though it does not add incredible value to your profile.
Likes (Student Life): There are good well-being services provided by the University which takes into student struggle. They even provided financial assistance for students to cope with inflation pressure. University has cops security and emergency services at all times for students.
Dislikes (Internships): During the course duration, I haven't come across one internship in finance or accounting that the University has provided. Students have to explore outside markets for internship opportunities and chances of being selected are low. Even part-time roles are limited.

You will have to do your own hard work.
Tips: The course is pretty fast paced and extensive, therefore has to be on point from day 1 itself. Exeter is a pretty renowned university and is best in sporting activities. Most of the hard work should be done on your own and expect very little from lecturers. So far the experience is good.
Likes (Safety): Exeter is a very safe city to live in. There is a city watch patrolling the street and I have friends who work late nights and is a very well-connected small and beautiful city. Compared to all other cities in the UK, Exeter is very well known for its low crime rate activities.
Dislikes (Internships): Getting internships is quite hard for students in the UK and I personally don't know any person who has received an internship opportunity. There are part-time opportunities but fewer internships. Internships are generally more hard to find in the UK compared to countries like US but with less capital.

One-of-a-kind experience at the university of Exeter
Tips: In terms of transition, I must say that I have become more independent and have a broader sense of understanding in every aspect. I got a scholarship which was automatically applied to my tuition fees. I am highly satisfied with my university experience in terms of course, placement and one-of-a-kind experience.
Likes (Safety): In my experience, I found Exeter City safe be it the university facilities or public transport and walking on the street late night. Of course this doesn't mean that you can freely roam around at night because every place has pros and cons, so it's better to be responsible. But overall I found it safe as compared to other UK cities.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Due to the recession, the possibility of finding jobs in UK has become quite difficult for freshers. It might be a bit easy for candidates with previous experience in the relevant field. But overall for people passing out in 2022-23 it has become more challenging. It's not impossible but it's a task to get a job, especially with visa sponsorship.

A great global exposure with best faculty and university.
Tips: I have seen major changes in my personality since I joined this course a year ago. From becoming a multi-tasker to widening my perspective towards cultures and people from all around the world, this growth has been a great blessing. I was not awarded any scholarship. I had the most supportive, helpful, intelligent and fun professors in my course. Made the subject matter super easy and they all had great knowledge of their subject. They encouraged doubts and would sit with you till they were all cleared. The course was structured to get the best out of students. The post-study job market is a bit harsh and it would be great if the college took more initiative in having placements for the students. Overall, I am 100% satisfied with the course, university and the country.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): If you have a great profile before your Master's - for example, 1-2 years of relevant work experience, professional degrees, etc. - then your chances of getting a post-study job are much better compared to someone going for their Master's right after undergraduate. The post-study job market is very competitive, rewarding only the best candidates.

King's College London does not provide much internship opportunities.
Tips: There was not much of a cultural shift. Coming from a metropolitan city, like Delhi, to another metropolitan didn't seem like much of a difference. The only thing that is needed to get used to the city is the cost of living. Takes about a month or so to adjust to the cost of daily expenses. I did not get any scholarships as I am not eligible for any. Being an Indian male studying Physics doesn't really suit the majority of scholarships at King's. The teaching faculty is generally good but the admin staff is not that great for our department. They will always find a way to make you run around to get basic things like your marks or even exam papers. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences here.
Likes (Public transportation): Covent Garden and Holborn station are within walking distance of campus, but using public transportation can quickly become expensive if you exceed your budget. Buses are a good alternative, but convenience depends on where you live and the route you travel. The tube is definitely faster.
Dislikes (Internships): There is not much support from the university. Generally, one has to be part of the relevant student groups/societies to get an idea of how the internship process works in the field of choice. The university has some help available to review CVs/Cover Letters and a practice interview round.

The transition to London helped me gain social skills and boost confidence.
Tips: London can be incredibly expensive. However, there are several ways to find affordable ways of living as a student so ensure you do your research before moving to London. KCL and London in general are very metropolitan so there are countless cultures and ethnicities to mingle with, making it smooth and quite enjoyable. For scholarships, it's quite difficult to avail of any as most are offered to Masters students and the UK very rarely offers scholarships for international students. However, there are different ways to avail of bursaries depending on your university/course. Students should ensure they do extensive research as they tend to be hidden.
Likes (Public transportation): London's public transport is world-renowned, very well-connected, and also very easy to navigate and understand. However, it does tend to be quite expensive if you live far from the city centre. There are buses, the London Underground and the London Overground. Most train services end at night but on the weekend, there are night tubes that run late into the night so it's possible to get home after night out.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): It is quite difficult to secure a job if you're not studying for a highly-value degree. Visa sponsorship is quite easy to secure, especially at bigger firms. Again, depending on the major studied, salaries and roles can range from impossible to secure to incredible remunerative.

One of the financial hubs in the world does help you to transform.
Tips: King's College provides you with various opportunities to showcase your talent. I did transition after coming here both academically and personally. I did not get any scholarships but the college does provide them and other financial aid is available as well.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty here is really qualified with much knowledge and expertise. Most of them work in the banking and finance fields simultaneously. Friendly, helpful and very much approachable if needed. Teaching methods are also very up-to-date and provide access to financial software such as Bloomberg, Stata and MATLAB.
Dislikes (Value for money): Being an international student, 40 Lakhs of tuition fees for one year of Masters degree plus living expenses in London, with no job placement and security, the value for money is not justified. Part-time work hours for students are also very restricted.

Great but could be better
Tips: The process of shifting is quite well but learn to find all the contacts needed beforehand to solve issues. Contact people and don't hesitate. Find fixed places to eat quickly. Join forums or clubs etc. in case you will feel lonely really fast even if you have friends. Talk to everyone a little and branch out.
Likes (Indian Food): I prefer cooking myself but there are still many Indian food options in London. Most of them are quite well made as well. As for pricing, it's cheaper if you go to the restaurant and not if you order at home. Try to find places with student discounts because they have many of those.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): It has quite a direct way of immigration if you're a student. There's the graduate visa option for now which can give you time to search for jobs etc. There are also a lot of immigrants which shows it's not exactly impossible. The only issue is the current government which may come out with new policies making it tough.

Overall good experience at KCL.
Tips: The city is good. The course has a great structure and the university has a lot of resources. The degree is tough but rewarding. There are a lot of opportunities for internships/placements. Living in London is a great experience (barring the slight safety problems).
Likes (Public transportation): London has very accessible public transport. Between the tube, overground, national express, bus, night buses and walking, I think it's possible to get anywhere in London. As a student, you also get a discount on public transport. It's available most times of the day and is very convenient to use.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): It's possible to get permanent immigration, but it's difficult to get a sponsorship. It truly depends on what course you're doing and what market you're applying for jobs in. If I had the chance I would consider permanently migrating to the UK for sure. The job prospects and academic potential here are far higher than my country of origin.

Most beautiful campus in London
Tips: It is a top university and one of the best in the UK. Its campuses are at the heart of London, with so many sites and attractions nearby. However, this does mean the university is not for everyone as it is a very busy and fast-paced environment in London.
Likes (Quality of faculty): King's College London has amazing faculty members for all different departments. It also has several university campuses and student halls across London. The university has top-end lecture halls, laboratories and sports facilities. It has unarguably the best university campuses in London compared to other London universities.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Immigration lawns are very strict at the moment in the UK. Difficult to find jobs in the UK as a whole but is slightly easier to find jobs in London. Tips: One of the standout features of this university is the extensive array of societies. Whether one's passion lies in arts, sciences, sports or social causes, there is a society for everyone. The university also provides ample opportunities for students to work whilst studying, so they can develop their professional skills, gain valuable experience and manage their finances effectively, all while pursuing their academic endeavours.
Likes (Value for money): Once-in-a-lifetime experience. You will not regret it! It is a little expensive compared to other areas, but there is a lot to see and explore while studying at university. There are also a lot of universities in London so you get the chance to network with people from different courses, backgrounds and beliefs.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Not many jobs are available for post-graduates, but if you do get one they are quite good in terms of overall work culture and salary. I am not too sure about this topic as I am not a post-graduate, but there are quite a few people who are without a graduate scheme and some people who have secured amazing graduate schemes.

Amazing life at King's College London, UK
Tips: One of the best universities to get into. Also the life in London is amazing. The connectivity of public transport is something which is commendable. The college is in the heart of the city and has almost every facility available for students. The teachers are well experienced and helpful.
Likes (Student Life): Life at KCL is simply amazing. There are several things going on at any given point in time to keep the students engaged. The campus is clean and very near to the tube stations making it very convenient for the students to walk from tube to the college.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The faculty are very interactive and help out with any problems that students have. They have designed a very engaging way of studying and making the students understand the root of everything. For the final dissertation, the faculty will help you with everything to make it easier for you to research.

Tips: Before joining King’s College London, students should know that while the academic environment is highly rewarding, it also demands a significant level of independence and self-motivation. The coursework in Digital Humanities involves a blend of technical and theoretical components, so having some familiarity with coding, data analysis, or digital tools can be beneficial. The teaching style is more research-focused and less structured compared to Indian universities, which means students need to manage their time effectively and engage actively with the material.
Transitioning to life at KCL was challenging at first, but I gradually adjusted. The cultural shift was noticeable — from the academic style to everyday social interactions. In India, the education system is more exam-focused, while at KCL, there's greater emphasis on critical thinking, class participation, and independent projects. Socially, people tend to be more reserved, and the multicultural environment means you encounter a wide range of perspectives and communication styles. Adjusting to the British accent and understanding local slang also took some time.
I applied for a merit-based scholarship when I was admitted. I was fortunate to receive it, which covered around £5,000 of my annual tuition fees. While it didn’t cover living expenses, it eased the financial burden significantly.
Overall, I’m quite satisfied with my course and the experience of studying in the UK. The program has equipped me with valuable skills, and London’s global network offers excellent career opportunities. However, the high cost of living and visa-related uncertainties remain challenges that require careful planning.
Likes (Safety): King’s College London (KCL) provides an excellent sense of safety, which is why I gave it a five-star rating. The campus security is well-organized, with 24/7 monitoring, key card access to buildings, and regular patrols ensuring that students feel secure at all times. Beyond campus security, the university also offers several other facilities to support student safety. The SafeZone app, for instance, allows students to quickly contact security or emergency services with just a tap. There are also well-lit pathways around campus and designated late-night shuttle services to help students get home safely after dark.
KCL provides mental health support and counselling services, which play a crucial role in ensuring emotional and psychological safety. The university’s student support team is approachable and responsive, offering guidance and assistance whenever needed. Additionally, London itself has a strong public safety infrastructure, with CCTV coverage in most areas and a visible police presence, particularly around university zones and public transport hubs.
My personal experience in London regarding safety has been positive overall. Once, I accidentally left my phone at a campus café, and the staff promptly secured it and contacted me through the student portal to return it. However, like any major city, London has its share of petty crime, such as pickpocketing, especially in crowded areas like train stations and markets. But staying aware of your surroundings and following basic safety measures helps avoid such issues. The combination of strong university support and London’s public safety network makes KCL a secure and comfortable place to study.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Studying at King’s College London (KCL) was academically rewarding, but my experience with post-study opportunities and jobs was mixed, which is why I gave it three stars. KCL offers strong career support through job fairs, networking events, and career counselling, but securing a job after graduation, especially as an international student, can be challenging. The job market in the UK is competitive, and while KCL’s reputation helps, finding roles with visa sponsorship adds another layer of difficulty. Several well-known companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PWC, Google, and Barclays do offer sponsorship visas, but the number of available positions is limited compared to the overall demand. Common job roles that attract KCL graduates include software engineer, data scientist, financial analyst, management consultant, and research associate. The starting salary for these roles typically ranges from £30,000 to £70,000 per year, depending on the industry. Technology and finance-related positions tend to offer higher salaries, often between £40,000 and £70,000 annually, while roles in healthcare and education usually fall within the £30,000 to £45,000 range.
Despite KCL’s location in central London and its strong ties with industries, the process of securing a skilled worker visa can be lengthy and uncertain. The high cost of living in London also affects how competitive these salaries feel in real terms. While the university provides good resources for job preparation, the competitive market and sponsorship limitations make the overall post-study experience somewhat challenging, which explains the three-star rating.

Tips: My friends and colleagues have all graduated from King’s College London. It has a good placement record and is the best college for our future. There are many groups in the college for different problems, like social discrimination and ragging, that allow us to resolve issues, give people more work, and improve the security solution. There is a little bit of an issue with the placement in the college. It has something to do with the companies that have been coming to our campus. There are many, but they only hire students who have higher qualifications or abilities. That’s why you might encounter a few issues while getting placed. Tips: The courses are challenging, so you have to work hard. Make sure you attend classes regularly. You'll spend a lot of time at the library, so you need to learn how to manage your time and stay focused. The professors are great, the curriculum is amazing, and the people are very helpful. London life is amazing, and exploring the city was a lot of fun. The people are really nice, and you feel at home. Everything is very systematic, so you will have a lot of fun.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The job market is currently very bad in the UK, and immigrants are not being considered for employment. With the change in government, it has become even more difficult for immigrants to find employment. Graduate jobs do not pay well, so it is difficult to save money. However, overall my experience at KCL was great.

King's College London- Pre-planning and living in London Central.
Tips: There are no scholarships at King's. London is much more expensive than you think. The food is very bland, so you should know how to cook. The courses are highly competitive, and almost half of my class failed their first and second attempts. So, make sure you are here to study, because it will be a major factor moving forward. Choose your accommodations wisely. Options are university accommodations, off-campus shared houses near the university making travel costs almost zero but rent is too high as it is central London or off-campus accommodations that are farther away but less expensive.
Likes (Public transportation): I lived in central London near Borough station, and could walk to my university. However, the busses and tubes were equally convenient. Now that I live in the outskirts, I've noticed that there is public transportation to every corner of the city. In other cities, like Cardiff, where my friend lives, travel is limited to trains and occasional busses. London's public transportation is so good that you don't realize how good it is until you leave the city.
Dislikes (Value for money): I paid around 30 Lakhs INR, which I feel wasn't worth it because I really had to do most of the work myself and I also ended up writing the wrong exam, ultimately making me lose my distinction which isn't something I would expect when I pay so much for a university.
