International friendly and worth having
Tips: While joining, make sure that your mind goes towards the management because the course is completely towards the management side. There is no cultural shift because the majority of the people are from India. I'm not sure about the scholarship programme I have never heard of it. I am having a good time here.
Likes (Indian Food): If I talk about my place, Cologne, which is also considered a popular tourist destination in Germany, the options are vast, and lots of different origin restaurants you can choose from here. Personally, I prefer cooking at home instead of spending a lot on outside food.
Dislikes (Part time work): On-campus jobs are very few and require German at least at B1 level. Off-campus opportunities are at present not that much available due to the current market scenario. But if you have the skills that the organisation need then hiring chances might go up.

Safe, secure and friendly university.
Tips: Try applying to public universities. Apply for a German scholarship. At least learn an A1 language. Work on the accommodation prior to joining.
Focus on core subjects in which you want to work. Try to gain experience in college days such as doing internships or jobs.
Likes (Safety): The public transport is high frequency and the streets are under surveillance. They have helpline services which are 24/7. Also the police are on patrol very often so we can contact them if there's any problem. Very friendly and helpful nature of each citizen.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Various stores such as Lidl and Edeka are there but they lack Indian food products such as Price, Dal, Masala and Tea powder. You can get those in city stores but for that you need to travel at least an hour for it. I prefer cooking at home instead of eating outside.

The best private university with highly qualified faculty and a vibrant student life.
Tips: There are get-togethers for all students, seniors and juniors. I didn't receive any scholarships; my father sponsored my entire tuition fees. I am satisfied with my university; it is good, and the lecturers are very friendly. So, if you are planning on attending a private university, this is the best one.

Easy going and manageable for sure.
Tips: Students should carefully consider the subjects within the courses they are enrolling in as the subject matter is more important than the course title. They should also assess whether the investment is likely to yield a good return. Students should proactively seek out part time work and internship opportunities as university support in this area may be limited.
Likes (Public transportation): Berlin's public transportation is excellent. While there can be some delays the SBahn, UBahn, and bus services are generally very good. You can easily access everything. This is particularly true in larger cities like Berlin and Munich. Smaller cities don't usually have such effective transport systems.
Dislikes (Part time work): The university itself doesn't offer many part-time job opportunities, as it's located in a small two story building. There are no cafe options and there are no assistant professor positions available for part time work. Therefore students need to find their own part time work.

Everything is good except the fees. Try to learn German to at least a B1 level.
Tips: Before joining college review the fee structure and manage your living expenses. Try to find accommodation near the college for easier travel. Also learn how to cook and bring your own spices before you come.

It's good, it's not a big university, so prof and department know us and help us.
Tips: German language: Since it is a small city, and to integrate into society and get a part-time job, it is very hard without the language. But the university itself is good; I am satisfied with the course structure. But one should mentally prepare for exams, presentations, and projects. I applied to deutschlandstipendum, but unfortunately didn't get it.
Likes (Post study jobs): I have been working in my own field for the past 1.5 years, and my studies here helped a lot. Projects I built here mattered a lot to me. There aren't many companies here, but Frankfurt is just 1.5 hr by train, and one can get a lot of opportunities there.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I cook at home, since there are not many grocery stores where you can find ingredients from my home country, such as fruits, vegetables, and spices. In addition, there are no restaurants that serve food from my home country. I have not visited many restaurants, so I go to an Italian pizzeria, and the price is 12 euros for a Margherita pizza.

Good for practical learning and personal growth.
Tips: Check your course first if it aligns with your current studies, then, good. Also keep in my it is a Hochschule it is an applied university, so if you want to do research, look for another option, but good for other purposes. Teach/Management courses are usually filled with students from south asian countries. If you want diversity in those courses, that could be difficult, but apart from that, I find the university quite a good place for studying, socialising, and evolving your overall personality.
Likes (Safety): Because Germany is quite safe. People are very friendly on campus, and in general the city is quite peaceful as well, you will hardly find anyone who is a threat or makes you feel uncomfortable. Personally, I have never had any bad experience that makes me question the safety of the city or university.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Because of the current market situation, nothing bad with the university and in general, universities are responsible for your campus placement, they can invite companies, but you would still need to apply through their portals. Basically, everyone is on their own. And it depends on the course and the level of German language proficiency.

Good University overall surely a good option
Tips: The academics and professors at Fulda are great—very hands-on and approachable whenever you need help. But the biggest reality check is the job market. Fulda is a small town, so local student jobs and graduate roles are pretty scarce. You have to be prepared to broaden your job search outside Fulda. Most of us commute to Frankfurt, Offenbach, or nearby industrial hubs in Hessen for Werkstudent positions and full-time roles post-graduation.
Likes (Value for money): Value for money gets a full 5/5 because studying at Fulda is practically tuition-free. You only pay a small semester fee (Semesterbeitrag), and that already includes the Deutschlandticket. Having unlimited regional train and public transit travel across all of Germany built into your student ticket saves you hundreds of euros a month alone. Combining high-quality applied education with almost non-existent study costs makes the ROI here incredible.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Good Indian food is not available; Indian restaurants are here for the Western palate, so you either cook yourself or go to Frankfurt to get proper Indian food. I cook by myself like everyone but eat takeout as well sometimes, mostly Turkish or pizza.

Great College with great enviorment
Tips: Before coming to Fulda, make sure you double-check your course curriculum so you don't regret your major later. Moving abroad is a massive personal shift, and adapting to life in Germany takes time. The weather is probably the biggest shock—winters in Hessen are dark, cold, and can feel pretty gloomy from late autumn through February. If you take care of your mental health, stay active, and build a good group of friends early on, you'll push through it just fine.

Fulda—It may be difficult to adjust at first, but it will get better
Tips: There were certain cultural shifts, but it was not very difficult; it's a place with a lot of international students, so sometimes you will feel like home, but there are some problems if you don't know the German language because it's a small town, not a big city, so not everyone sitting in the supermarket or shops may know English. I didn't have any scholarships; I lived off my part-time job.
Likes (Value for money): Compared to other universities with 400 euro fees, it's really a good university with great teachers and good subjects. In some states the tuition feels really high, which offers the same quality of lectures and courses. So I can clearly say it's value for money.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are only 3 Indian restaurants here in Fulda and NO Indian supermarkets. You may need to go to Frankfurt for Indian stores. But you can find some Iranian shops, which can make Indians happy; there you can get cheap and spicy things. I usually cook at home, but some days if I want to eat outside, I prefer this doner kebab.
