Tips: College is strict in academics. You should follow the rules strictly while doing your assignments and work, and if you would like to avail any scholarship, the college will help you in that. The best place to experience a different number of cultures and traditions.
Likes (Safety): We will be able to access anything through our college student card, so that's a great opportunity, we can explore many things, and we will have possible ways to improve our networking through interacting with people who come from different regions.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): My college professors are friendly and approachable anytime. We will be having a college mail ID. Using this ID, we can contact them any time if we have any issues, and mostly we will be able to sort out all the doubts in the class itself, as they explain everything in detail.

Tips: If you are going to study computing, be prepared to give up part-time work. The course is very practical and requires dedicated study hours. Don't expect easy passing like at other institutions; you need to put in the effort, prepare, and study to succeed.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The course is well-designed with many hands-on portions, sometimes a bit too much even. But it's still good value for money. The teachers are good at what they teach, but each subject has its own unique assessments and assignments that you need to pass individually.
Dislikes (Part time work): My course, M.Sc. in Computing, involved four days of on-campus lectures, numerous projects, and assignments, leaving little time for part-time work. The average hourly pay is around 13, but this varies depending on the workplace and hours worked.

Good college for people who are ready to work hard.
Tips: You might find it difficult to manage part time with studies as they have a tight schedule with assignments and exams. Weekends off can also mean spending time on submissions. Exams are taken seriously hence one would need lot of hard work. You will have study leave and some holidays to enjoy. Faculty members are highly professional and supportive. They prepare you for your career after studying. Overall, I am satisfied with my college.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty were mainly Irish. They were professional and great teachers. They were always happy to help. They were always approachable if you had a question. Most importantly, they taught you how to deal with the professional problems that you might encounter in your career.
Dislikes (Part time work): Part time opportunities depends on the vacancy and your willingness to do any work. Currently the vacancies are less hence some people might find it difficult to get one. Also you might not unnecessarily get the full 20 hours to work in a week hence finding it difficult to earn for your living expenses.

It’s also essential to be prepared for cultural diversity, as the college hosts students from all over the world.
The transition to life at Griffith was overall smooth but came with an initial cultural shift. From classroom behaviour and teaching methods to social customs and communication styles, everything required a period of adjustment. However, the supportive faculty and friendly peers made the process easier. Participating in group projects, workshops, and college events helped me integrate and develop both academically and personally.
I was fortunate to receive a partial merit-based scholarship. The scholarship application was submitted during the admission process, and selection was based on academic performance and a personal statement. The allowance helped reduce tuition fees, which made studying abroad more affordable and manageable.
Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience at Griffith College, both in terms of my course and the country. The curriculum is industry-relevant, the lecturers are knowledgeable, and the campus offers modern facilities. Living in Ireland has been a rewarding experience due to its friendly people, beautiful landscapes, and safety. Griffith has not only enhanced my academic knowledge but also contributed to my personal growth and career readiness.
Likes (Indian Food): Dublin, especially around Griffith College, offers a good range of international food choices, though it may not fully match the authenticity or variety available back home. There are numerous Indian, Pakistani, Chinese, Middle Eastern, and African restaurants within a short distance of the college. These places cater well to the student population, and the food is generally flavorful and satisfying.
Typical restaurants include Indian curry houses, halal takeaway spots, Chinese and Thai noodle bars, and kebab joints. Prices are fairly reasonable for students, with meals usually costing between €8 and €15. There are also more premium restaurants if you're looking for a special treat, where prices can range from €20 to €25 per meal. In addition, fast-food chains and local cafés provide convenient options for a quick bite.
Grocery stores and Asian or ethnic supermarkets like Tesco, Lidl, Eurasia, and Asia Market offer ingredients and spices from various countries, making it easier to cook your own meals if you prefer traditional home-style food. This has been especially helpful in maintaining a sense of comfort and familiarity.
Personally, I prefer cooking at home during the week to save money and eat healthier, but I enjoy dining out on weekends or during social gatherings. The availability of ingredients and dining options allows me to maintain a balanced routine and stay connected to my culinary roots while exploring Irish and international cuisine.
Dislikes (Internships): While Griffith College provides some support in this area, there is still room for improvement in terms of guidance, structure, and opportunities. The Careers Office occasionally shares internship openings through emails and job portals, and they do conduct workshops on CV writing, interview preparation, and LinkedIn optimisation. However, the process of finding and securing internships is largely student-driven.
For international students unfamiliar with the Irish job market, this can be challenging. There is limited one-on-one mentorship or a dedicated placement program for many non-technical or niche postgraduate courses. Guidance is often general and not always tailored to individual industries or specific fields of study.
In my case, while the college shared internship resources, I had to do most of the research and networking independently to find opportunities related to my program. There are some relevant internships available, especially in business, IT, and digital marketing sectors, but students in specialised fields like pharmaceutical sciences or clinical research might struggle to find directly aligned roles unless they proactively search beyond the college's network.
That said, Ireland has a growing job market, and with persistence, it’s possible to find meaningful work experience. Griffith does try to support students, but could strengthen its connections with industry partners and offer more structured internship pathways. Most of the classes use real-time examples which give exposure to the current market and industry-level experience. You get lectures from different nationalities and countries. Overall, I'm completely satisfied with my college, which offers great opportunities to explore.

Tips: There's not much of a cultural shift here. You'll find it very similar to your home country. I got 1,000 euros of scholarship money. As a full-time Master's student, I need to pay attention in class and do well academically. I also make sure that I'm meeting the attendance requirements, which are very important. Because of all of this, I'll probably be at college most days of the week. Fortunately, there are a lot of fun events to attend on campus, like movie parties and Halloween celebrations. There is also a student union that will help us to adjust. I'm completely satisfied with the country more than my college, as it feels like home and provides a lot of comfort and support.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation here is truly great. There's a bus every minute, and a train every ten minutes, which allows you to travel anywhere around the city. There's the Luas and the busses. Travel will run you about one Euro per hour, which is affordable and convenient.

Tips: I received a scholarship for 1500 euros, which is very common. Most students receive scholarships of 1000 to 1500 euros. I think it’s completely justified, the amount we are paying is affordable if we compare it to other countries, and the academics and studies are the best. Every lecture is very supportive and the teachers will help with all academic needs. I am very happy with my choice of courses, which offer a plethora of opportunities. Naturally, there will be some culture shock, but for us, it's exciting to try something new.
Dislikes (Student Life): I spend most of my free time with my friends in our weekly classes at Griffith College. Everyone else is busy with part-time jobs or other stuff. So if we get some time off, we all meet up at college. There are always lots of things happening at college, often organized by Griffith's Student Union.

Tips: Before joining, research campus life, course curriculum, and location. I transition smoothly, adapting to diverse cultures. No cultural shock, but I did learn to be independent. I availed a merit-based scholarship, receiving 20% tuition fee waiver. It took time to get used to, but I enjoy it now. My day is usually spent with a combination of classes, self-study, and extracurricular activities. I enjoy campus events, such as cultural fests, as well as seminars. There are a variety of clubs here, such as debate, sports, etc. I only participate occasionally, though, as I have to balance academic activities with my interests. Overall, I am highly satisfied with the university, course, and country.
Likes (Indian Food): I prefer to cook my own meals. However, sometimes eating out is okay, although otherwise it is hard for students from outside. Some restaurants give offers for students. Indian restaurants tend to be located mainly in the city center, and, according to prices, it's a bit difficult for students there.

Tips: College is good for academic and job opportunities, but adjusting can be tough. The culture, teaching style, and lifestyle are different, and groceries are expensive, making it tough for international students. There are good opportunities for part-time work, though. Some aspects, such as meeting new friends from diverse backgrounds, have been quite enjoyable. Yet, other aspects, like having to attend classes online and in person in the afternoon, have been stressful and boring. Also, I don't like that some days I have to go to college for just two hours. Nonetheless, my favorite parts of being at this college are the freedom and the fun moments I have with my friends. Overall, I am satisfied with my experiences.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): I would love to settle here because there is a work-life balance in this country. They have good job prospects and quality of life compared to other places. For good career growth, a comfortable lifestyle and a better future, this country is good to settle. I would consider settling here if everything aligns well.

Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation is really good in Dublin, especially around the city centers. They have good connections to all of the colleges, and each college has its own bus stop and Luas stop. Colleges provide information to help students with public transportation, such as route planning and how to apply for a Leap Card.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): As of now, there's very little scope for settlement options, because the job market isn't good at all. Even if we get a job, the companies don't sponsor the visa. Many jobs are removed from the critical skills list, which makes it really tough to get stamp 1.

Plus, the exams make you a studious, responsible student. The lecturers are very supportive of your academics and are very experienced professionals. The university is good for education and other activities, events and sports.
Tips: In my opinion, before joining any college, students should learn about the school's background, the courses it offers, the course modules and the facilities. They should also check out the campus, the sports activities and events it offers, and any other activities available. Of course, you should also find out how much the courses you're interested in cost. The tuition is valid for this course because my course is Big Data Management and Analytics, so it's a very difficult course, and Griffith College provides this course. Euros will be converted to Indian rupees, which is big money from the India side, but it feels nominal for international students.
Likes (Indian Food): There are so many options for Indian cuisine in Dublin. There are many Indian restaurants, street food vendors, and Indian grocery stores. You can find just about any kind of vegetable, street food, dairy product, and other kitchen ingredients you might want. Best of all, many of these options are affordable. I really love all the food options I have here in Dublin.

Great campus support and learning opportunities.
Tips: Setting into college was a good experience. At first, I needed some time to adapt to the new culture and teaching style, but the supportive faculty and friendly students made the transition easier. I didn't apply for scholarships, but I found the facilities and resources provided to be very helpful for academics and professional growth. The campus environment feels welcoming, and the opportunities for learning and networking are excellent. Overall, I am satisfied with both my course and the university experience.
Likes (Public transportation): The public transport system is excellent, with buses and trains providing quick and affordable connections between the campus and the city. The services are frequent, reliable, and easily trackable via apps. Student discounts also make it very cost-effective, so I rarely need taxis or private transportation.
Dislikes (Safety): The campus has security staff and CCTV, which makes it reasonably safe, but some areas feel less secure at night due to poor lighting. While I haven't faced major issues, I feel that more frequent patrols and awareness programs would improve the overall sense of safety for students.

Tips: I will suggest that students learn how to search for the best articles online, which will help students during assignment time. Learn more about academic writing, as it helps a lot with assignments. Try to be friendly with everyone, as it will help you to be a good student. The faculty is extremely understanding and will assist you with your projects.
Likes (Safety): The management of the university ensures the safety of both students and the campus itself. The management regularly conducts fire drills, and they take student safety seriously by making sure all their security practices align with those of the local police department.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Indian food at Maynooth is expensive. There are a few places on campus that offer a wide selection of foods, including pizza, Indian, sandwiches, etc. , but they can be price. Plus, the food is on the greasy side, which isn't everyone preference. It's definitely cheaper to eat off-campus.

Tips: The college is good and friendly. There are lots of events you can participate in, like the many clubs and societies you can join. Public transportation in Ireland is super friendly, accessible and convenient. I spend only around 70 euros. The university also has a good overall reputation for education. This is the best one in Ireland, and I'd really recommend it.

Tips: Maynooth offers a friendly, inclusive environment with strong academic support. Be prepared for independent learning and apply early for accommodation. The transition was smooth; people are warm and helpful. I did notice a shift to a more independent and discussion-based academic style. I didn't receive any scholarship.
Likes (Safety): I felt very secure on campus with few incidents, but I docked one point due to occasional late-night bus delays and poorly lit side streets off campus. Apart from campus security, there are emergency blue-light call stations around campus, a 24/7 student-support hotline, and well-marked walking routes with CCTV coverage. Dublin's locals are incredibly friendly and helpful when you're lost. However, I once witnessed a minor pickpocket attempt on a crowded Luas tram, so always keep valuables secure.
Dislikes (Internships): There's a noticeable lack of advertised internship opportunities through the university, making it hard to secure relevant placements. Career Services offers occasional workshops and drop-in CV reviews, but one-to-one support is limited, and you largely have to network independently. Most internships posted aren't tailored to my specific discipline, so I've had to seek external industry contacts to find suitable roles.

Tips: Nothing much, but they should know about their course structure and their future career path. If fresher, according to that, or experienced, then according, they can search. So, scholarships are based on luck but not on any merit. They may not expect any scholarship.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): After finishing their studies, students have multiple options for settling down. In addition to finding a job in the IT field, students may also find employment in a variety of industries and try to secure a post-study visa. Even though getting a visa can be a little difficult, the rewards are well worth it for the students.
Dislikes (Internships): Unfortunately, the university doesn't offer many good internships, and it's hard to find any on your own. Even though the school has a website with internship postings, getting hired is still difficult. The college does have the BCP Project that functions as an internship, but it's unclear whether or not this experience will help you in the future. So after graduation, finding an internship will be pretty much impossible.

A supportive and engaging university experience at Maynooth.
Tips: The university is very student-centric, offering strong academic support (including research and writing assistance). I did not get any scholarships. The country is beautiful, relatively safe, and welcoming. Just be prepared for the cold, wet weather - you’ll get used to it after a year or two.
Likes (Public transportation): The university is very welcoming, with a supportive environment that makes you feel at home. The campus is beautiful, peaceful and offers great facilities for both studying and socializing. Cultural events, music festivals, career workshops and society meetups are organised frequently. Many career fairs will be taking place and lots of industry leaders will be coming as guest lecturers.
Dislikes (Student Life): The faculty is highly knowledgeable and also very supportive. They connect on real-world experience. All the instructions will be provided in written format for better clarity and remembrance.

Likes (Permanent Immigration): I am hoping to get a critical skill visa after my graduation and am applying to them actively. In my field of study, there are not a lot of companies offering CSEP, but there are a few startups that offer a decent package so that I can support myself and settle here. Also, there are lots of visa types available in Ireland that make it easy to stay after graduation, including the general work permit.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): There are a lot of post-study job opportunities available, but it depends on which streamline you are opting for as an individual. But they are not usually given to people who have high grades or credit in their previous degree. It's always best to do the maximum amount of research before planning your career abroad.

Great University with good faculty.
Tips: I got a scholarship and applied through the PAC website while applying for admission. I changed my dressing style and some food, but I have adapted to some Irish food. I have experienced great friendships and a helping nature from the students and faculty.
Likes (Value for money): The university is good. Good faculty gives us good projects to work on for group work, and we get to work with students from other countries. The faculty are from different countries and have experience in teaching. They assist us with the projects and help us.
Dislikes (Indian Food): The canteen has Irish food and things like chips and cool drinks, but it's in the same price range as the places outside of the university. I understand that the students at the university are mostly from Ireland, but there should be more food options for the students who came from different countries.

Tips: There is no cultural shift, everything went well. Scholarships are purely based on luck. The lectures are good and very stress-free. The country is safe, and everyone here is friendly, and there is no racism here. The course was good, but there is more strength in teaching courses.
Likes (Public transportation): There is good transportation available all day long, but it is reduced for students. There are good connections to all parts of the campus. Students can also easily travel from Dublin. Since students receive a discounted rate for all types of transportation, it is very affordable.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Very few companies will sponsor jobs, and we need to apply for the visa ourselves, according to the salary range. So, I'm not sure what companies sponsor, but it seems likely that jobs in healthcare are more likely to be sponsored than technical jobs.

Apart from campus security, there are late-night transport services, student support teams and safety apps for emergencies. Overall, my experience in the city has been positive. People are helpful, and public places feel secure even at night.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The country provides clear and achievable pathways for permanent residency, especially for skilled graduates and international students. With a relevant job and visa, the chances of settling here are quite good, given the quality of life, safety, and work opportunities. The university is good but it's hard to get internships at the moment.
Tips: I'd highly recommend this program to students with prior work experience. It's more like self-study with only two in-person classes each week and no exams. The main focus is the assignments and two final projects. It's a good option for those seeking a place to start their higher education journey since the program is less demanding than other universities. Ireland was ranked the third most peaceful country in the world. The Irish are friendly and they mostly mind their own business. There are lots of Eastern Europeans in Dublin, and they're friendly and polite. Ireland is definitely an immigrant-friendly nation. Overall, I am satisfied with my experiences.
Dislikes (Internships): It's hard to get internships at the moment, as companies in Ireland aren't so focused on internships. References could be an added advantage in landing an internship, as unofficial companies seem to prefer European students. We have been depending on the BCP project for internships.

Maynooth University is a hidden gem.
Tips: Before joining students should know that the university offers the highest quality education at lower prices than more famous universities in Ireland. It is hard to find a job after graduation, so be prepared to have extra savings. Ireland is an excellent place for software engineering, law, or pharma. To get a job in the next year, start applying for jobs on LinkedIn or Indeed at the start of September.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Getting a job in the finance industry in Ireland isn't easy. The world economy is not expanding, and Europe is notorious for its complex and lengthy immigration process. However, Ireland is still one of the best countries in Europe. If you are exceptionally good, more opportunities will be presented to you.

Tips: Students should be aware of whether they can adapt to this study procedure. Check if you are eligible for any scholarships. And don't expect to get part-time work at the moment you reach Ireland. I was satisfied with my course but the only thing is placement, I don't get any guidance for placement from my university. My job search is on my own.
Likes (Student Life): We get a lot of project and learning opportunities for the development of careers so I recommend a good rating for the student life. The most enjoyable thing about college is the flexibility to work. University organizes different kinds of events like student well aware events, traditional parties, culture-oriented programs etc.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Post-study jobs for now is very difficult to find a job even if we have good experience in the respective field. And a lot of companies do not offer sponsorship for visas for work. I'm looking for job roles such as Power BI developed, Business analyst, data analyst, etc.

Tips: Students before joining this college should be aware of accommodation (especially affordable housing) can be challenging due to Ireland's housing crisis. Start searching well in advance (consider student housing, shared rentals). Maynooth is a small town with limited part-time job options. You can always live in Dublin and commute to Maynooth.
Dislikes (Part time work): It is a small town so only a few jobs are available. You can only work 20 hours as a part time while studying so it is pretty manageable. During holiday season you can work 40 hours, minimum wage is 11.80 Euros, so you should be able to manage your expenses easily. There are other towns nearby - Celbridge ,Leixlip where you can also find jobs.

Wonderful experience with insightful learning plus struggles to get job after studies
Tips: Language skills - English is essential to get a good job post-education.
Learning about Irish culture, events and sports is advised if you plan to amalgamate at your workplace and Uni. Each year more students are coming to Ireland apart from working professionals, so it's getting tougher to get jobs post education. This should be a serious concern if you are a fresher or have fewer years of experience.
University, course and country are excellent but getting a job after studies is the real challenge.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Faculty is approachable and well diverse. Group projects, individual assignments, class activities etc are used for learning. 3rd Term is thesis or business consulting or work placement.
Facul was from Ireland, UK, Russia, India, Pakistan, South Africa, Italy, etc.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are less restaurants and expensive ones, only 1-2 Indian restaurants is the locality. Eventually, it's ideal to cook yourself. Food delivery is also expensive as delivery fees is also common for most deliveries.
If you are doing part-time jobs at restaurants you may get free meals but again that's subjective.
