Master's Programme in Energy Smart Innovation in the Built Environment - Batch of 2024
3
The university has its charm and is located in a nice place with proximity to bigger cities.
Tips: Be thorough in your research about the university and the place you are visiting. Have a clear idea of what you are spending your money on, ie, getting the Certificate for a ticket into this country to get a job and start working as soon as possible or upskilling yourself and having to complete your Master's and getting that Certificate. Talk with peers and alumni who have walked the same path and how their experiences are and try to get in touch with as many as possible as everyone has their own story to tell. Search for scholarship opportunities that can greatly help your mental health and make you focus on your life and studies. Overall, I am satisfied with the university but I wish I had done more research on the country and universities before applying as I could have gotten into a better university with my qualifications.
Likes (Safety): Sweden is generally a safe country to be in, especially in a smaller town, of course, the same can't be said about the bigger cities, but I would say it's relatively safe and people are law-abiding. I found the experience of living here much peaceful and a general sense of safety is there always.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Generally speaking, more than 80% of my classmates are unemployed after graduation. Most of them are doing odd jobs that are not even remotely close to their professions, and they are in a mindset to look for anything rather than a professional job.

Master's Programme in Energy Smart Innovation in the Built Environment - Batch of 2026
4.5
A decent experience with room for improvement.
Tips: Students should preferably select the relevant course as they want instead of just migrating to any country. Scholarships are provided based on their marks obtained which will get up to 50%. As there are many students from various parts of the world, but still we don't feel anything that corresponds to cultural exchange.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): The country is safe and has a warm welcome for foreign students. There are no issues based on gender, sex, or color. The only problem is the language. Though everyone speaks English, it is mandatory to know Swedish to be able to settle here and get a good job in a relevant field. Thankfully, the government teaches us Swedish for free.
Dislikes (Value for money): While the university provides quality education and good facilities, tuition fees are higher compared to similar courses elsewhere. I expect a bit more in terms of practical exposure, career services, and industry connections to justify the cost.

General Medicine - Batch of 2024
Offered by National Research Nuclear University MEPhI

MEPHI- college located in a lovely city with lovely people.
Tips: You have to study by yourself, the faculty will only teach the main concepts. If you want to pass FMGE or other entrance exams, you have to prepare by yourself. You will have good exposure to patients whenever you like. You can go to the surgery hall, just make sure you wear medical scrubs. But you need to know Russian thoroughly. If possible, try to complete a Russian language course for a year in Moscow. Because the university will only teach you for the first three years, after that you're on your own. Don't worry about safety. The people are very kind and the police officers are very friendly. The city is very calm, quiet and beautiful. I wish I could have stayed there longer.
Likes (Public transportation): Since government buses leave for the main part of the city every 15 minutes, students who live in the surrounding area won't have any trouble getting there. I'm excited about the monthly bus pass, too. It'll cost me around 500 rubles, so it'll be affordable to travel from campus to my hostel and even to the hospital.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): I've heard from some of my seniors that while post-study jobs are okay, the pay is lower than average which is around 30000 to 40000 rubles/month. On the bright side, job availability seems good, and it's a great place for new graduates to get experience. I was told that to get a job you have to take a Russian language entrance exam, but the difficulty level is said to be average.

Please look for some other college rather than this.
Tips: I am currently in my fourth year of study. There are 180 Indian students here. This is the first time our senior batch is appearing for the FMGE, so all the seniors are studying hard for the exam. There are no scholarships here, so we have to pay our own tuition. Internship opportunities are very few and we hardly get any. There is always fierce competition among students for internships. The faculty are somewhat helpful and will assist us throughout. Overall, the university is average with almost no opportunities.
