Tips: There is no need for a cultural adjustment, as the majority of students are Indian and Asian. If you're looking to experience a new culture, it may be challenging in the UK, as you will mostly see familiar faces. Also, job opportunities after graduation are scarce.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty is knowledgeable and supportive, although there is room for more industry exposure. They are approachable and open to discussions. Tips: If the university offers placement courses try to choose a placement based course so you can stay in school longer. Since every course is different and you can find the same course name with different focuses, make sure you choose the best fit for you. I would suggest that you do your homework and look at the curriculum before signing up for anything. You will have one more year as a student which means you have more time to participate in school functions and to enjoy the student life and environment.

The college is really nice and the faculty are very helpful.
Tips: The first few months are difficult, but then you get used to life socially. It is a bit difficult if you come in winter as the daylight is low and it's very quiet outside. You may feel depressed sometimes, but summers are really good, and you will love it. There is only one Indian restaurant among all the English restaurants in the area. However, there are good food options in Edgware and Watford, which are easily accessible by public transportation. St. Albans is another good option, but it is a bit more expensive. Eventually, you will get used to eating English food. I am satisfied with the country.
Likes (Part time work): You can find part-time jobs easily in local social warehouses. When you come to London you should have a good CV. You can get a part-time job in a warehouse and the DHL warehouse is a good option.

Tips: The university has an excellent program for students. The teachers take very good care of the students. The staff members are always very helpful, caring, and supportive. My teachers always give students personal attention, so everyone is always clear about their work. I never got bored or homesick while attending the University of Hertfordshire. The campus is huge and there are lots of activities to do. The university provides all the resources you need to feel at home, happy, and safe. I'm very happy with my university. Tips: Students should know that the college offers good academics but limited career support and high living costs here involve adapting to a diverse culture and a more independent lifestyle. I didn't get a scholarship. Overall, I am satisfied with the university and course but the high expenses and the job market competitiveness in the country can be challenging.
Likes (Post study jobs): There are good post-study job appointments, but limited sponsorship options. Around 2030, most sponsored jobs are junior positions with a salary package of around 30,000 Pounds, depending on the industry.
Dislikes (Value for money): The education quality as decent, but the tuition fee is a bit high compared to the facilities and resources provided. More practical exposure and Oregon update resources would better justify the cost for the overall learning experience.

Tips: Expect only Asian and South African students in the class don't expect white people to be there. Classes are different and the college feels like we are in India because most of them are Indians. Save some money like 2000 atleast and don't keep expectation that you will get a part time job right after coming here and also learn driving before coming to the UK.
Likes (Value for money): Low feels good standards people are good and they won't force you to pay the feels and you can pay in monthly instalments as well so student friendly. You will get an attempt to the failed exams. In UK your college doesn't matter only your skills will.
Dislikes (Internships): There are people to guide you in every step from cv making and consulting about career. If you have the right skills it's easy to get a job here. Do online courses as much as you can and add up to your cv. Degree is only useful if you have skills you can work in any field in the UK.

Easy to access from London to university of Hertfordshire via king cross.
Tips: I didn't avail any kind of scholarship. There is always a cultural shift. When you travel from one country to another. I'm happy with my university and the course. On a scale of 5 I would rate 3.5. When you ask me about the country it's a beautiful country.
Likes (Public transportation): The campus is 45 minutes from the city. You can get halfway from campus to the city by university bus and then use national rail. It's a bit expensive when it comes to travelling from campus to the city would be around 12 two-way if I'm not wrong. Public transportation in the city is cheap.
Dislikes (Internships): You get good guidance finding internships. They help you in and out how to prepare a CV as well. In every other university, they have it on their website or an app where you can find jobs related to your field. But getting an internship, in your respective field is hard.

Tips: This college is ranked among top University in the UK. So, students should know some important things before joining the college. They should take counselling for the process of admission and other necessity for coming here. The diversity is good here so it won't be a problematic thing for the Indian students. You should gather the latest data about scholarships and acceptance rates for international students. I am truly satisfied with the University, course and country.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): If I had to settled permanent here in the UK there are many options for me. As an Indian, we get work visas from companies. They sponsor visas and as long I am working there, the settlement problems are low. If you want to apply for permanent residence you can check the requirements as every year the data changes. But, the longer migrants stay here, the more likely they are to have acquired settlement. I would like to permanently immigrate to this country if given a chance.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The post study jobs at the University of Hertfordshire are quite good in numbers. Many big companies like Barclays, EY, HSBC, McKinsey & Company and others offer sponsor visas. Teach Giants offers visas to Indian students. The roles and packages vary from low to high according to market demands. It's a great place for further studies for aspiring Indian students.

It's not far from London so you can explore the city whenever you want to. And also you can travel to nearby places for jobs and other stuff.

Also, they have placement and opportunity portals where you can find multiple opportunities. Likes (Indian Food): There are very less stores available In the location so we get fewer original food. We are unable to get the food items that we need and face issues with the food we cook or getting orders online. But still, you can manage if you love to eat non-veg.

Faculties and study will match your high expectation.
Tips: If students want to shop and site seeing on a frequent basis, then don't choose this university, as I hear a lot of students complaining the same. London may be just 30 mins away from here, but the expensive tickets would make you think twice before moving out of the city frequently.
Talking about the studies and the faculties, you can keep high expectation since the tuition fee and off-campus accommodation is more affordable compared to other colleges in London.
One thing to note after applying, do not apply BRP receiving at university address, always chose to collect it from the post office. Local post shall deliver it to you within a few days. University may take up to a month to sort and issue the BRP to the students.
Dislikes (Public transportation): Public transportations are pretty expensive here. It's always better to walk or buy a cycle. It takes a passenger to pay first and then move to the seating area, which makes it pretty frustrating when there's a long queue to board the bus. But we have no other choice other than opt for public transport to cover long distances.

Tips: The learning and resource center at both college lane and dehav campus is enormous. Big enough to fit 700/ 1000 students in one library. All the resources essential for course will be present either in digital format or hard print. Access to multiple websites for research purposes. Also handshake which is job portal for university remains active for a certain period of time. Also you can refer to previous study lectures on canvas. The options for multi Indian food items are available in town center however a bit pricey in comparison to India. Basketball court, football and gym activities are present in university campus itself. Also at the same time
restaurants and internal entertainment dance floor are available to unwind.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The professors were really helpful in the formation of structured program. The online/offline module was well reached, assignment were R&D based where students will try the approach of open book and get the optimized solutions. Also, the hybrid combination of online exams was present during my course work. The recorded lecture is useful for doubt solving in future revisions.
Dislikes (Internships): I personally did not choose a placement course. However, a few of my friends from A.I/Data Science background who opted for a placement course were unable to secure an internship during the placement year. Possibly the post covid effects are the concern.

One of the best UK universities
Tips: Initially, I felt some cultural differences from here compared to India. Later on everything was okay for me. At university, we have a friendly atmosphere and the faculty is very nice, they are very encouraging. We have campus placements here which is very useful for students.
Likes (Value for money): One of the best UK universities is University of Hertfordshire and they have excellent friendly faculty and it is worth every penny for international students. The atmosphere is great and they are supportive of international students.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I'm from India, initially it was difficult for me to understand the culture of this country and its food. Later on, I'm okay with everything and they are very supportive and friendly. Modules are very understanding which is useful for students. I am enjoying this university.

Tips: All incoming AUT students need to be aware that the workload for the courses there is substantial. It's not going to be a cakewalk, so to speak. There will be a lot of pressure to perform. Tips: We should know fluent English in the aspect of speaking, and also when and where to answer. There will also be a major impact on our lifestyles. I have received an accommodation scholarship for the student accommodation, which I applied for through the university website. New Zealand allows students to settle here after they have completed their course. They allow students to stay there for post-study visas up to three years after completing the course. If you can find a job in your field of study, that is also on the greenlist, then you are eligible for permanent residency. Overall, I am very satisfied with the university and with everything I have chosen so far, although it will also depend on the individual and on their chosen course of study.
Dislikes (Part time work): On-campus part-time jobs are a bit hard to get into, as there will be heaps of applications, however, off-campus jobs are comparatively easy depending on experience and connection. Most of the part-time jobs can be easily manageable with the academics, as the shift will be with our preference.

Throughout my journey, I have taken on multiple roles, including Student Ambassador, RUOK Advisory as a part-time job, Student Editor, Peer-Reviewer, Volunteer and Entrepreneur. The university is highly supportive of student's needs, and I encourage future students to explore and utilize all available support systems to enhance their experience. Also, before choosing a country to study in, make sure to research the job market. Opportunities can fluctuate, and being informed about employment trends will help make a more strategic decision about the future. Overall, I am very satisfied with my university, course, and life in New Zealand, as I have gained valuable skills and grown both personally and professionally.

The classrooms, access to libraries, the latest study materials, practical approach to learning, some papers have exams though, and the student services and support system available make the expenditure worth it.

Platforms like Summer of Teach provide a great opportunity for paid internships in New Zealand. Internships are available in the related fields of study. Tips: There are scholarships that you can avail of at any point of time during your course. There is a considerable number of Indian and Indian food available, so not much of a cultural shift. There is a large number of international students including Chinese and Indians. You have to study yourself and lecturers will only teach assuming you have prior knowledge of the subject. You have to do your homework really well. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my course, university and the country.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): The chances of permanent settlement are really easy. You just have to follow the general immigration path. Given a chance, I might like to permanently immigrate for its peaceful environment and natural beauty. You need to have good references and a network here to land a job as the job market is tight but once you land the first job things get easier.
Dislikes (Public transportation): Transportation is well connected with regular buses at small intervals but the cost of transportation is too high even with student discounts. However, you get a travel pass limit of 50 dollars per week. As an international student that cost seems too high.

Tips: The university experience is a lot different from what I had in India. The assignments are very practical, and there is help whenever you ask for it. I availed a scholarship from the Faculty of Arts and Culture which added NZD 5000 towards my fees. I'm very satisfied with the experience.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty is excellent and extremely approachable. All the professors are very kind and helpful. The entire course is taught in a very practical manner which is helpful to get a job in the future. The faculty is very diverse in terms of nationality.
Dislikes (Public transportation): The campus is well connected with the rest of the city via trains and buses. However, public transport is quite expensive, and trains and buses are either often late or get cancelled at the last moment. While students do receive a discount, the expenses are still not very affordable.

Tips: Coming from a Cambridge board and A Level background I was somewhat familiar with the Western education system. However, adapting to university life in a new country had its challenges. Since I arrived in NZ I have been pursuing my Master's in Engineering while maintaining a full-time job. One of the most notable cultural shifts was the difference in communication style. I found that people here tended to be more direct and informal, which was quite different from the more reserved and formal interactions I was accustomed to. Additionally, social norms around collaboration and group work were different. Teamwork was emphasized and I had to adapt to expressing my ideas more openly in discussions. There were challenges the transition has been enriching and I am fully satisfied with the experiences.

The university is great with friendly people.
Tips: The cultural shift was huge to me, but people were very friendly everywhere I went. I never applied for any kind of scholarship, but I'm sure there is a scholarship opportunity for 1st years. I'm immensely satisfied with my course, university, and the country. I made so many friends, the teaching team is really great, and the country is beautiful and the people are too.
Likes (Student Life): I get to pick my class timings, and all my classes are flexible, so that's the best thing about university life for me. I usually go to university when I have classes, which are usually around 16 hours every week. There are various clubs all around campus, and you can join them whenever you'd like. There are RUOK advisors who check up on students around campus and support them. There are ECMS, sports, math, Compsci, and quite a lot of other clubs. These clubs and events around campus gave me an opportunity to connect with people and make new friends at every event.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are different kinds of restaurants around, and most of the places serve various cuisines, so there are heaps of options. Also, some places offer student discounts or have special combos for students. It's usually about 15 - 25 Dollars for a person. Tips: I didn't feel a bit different from back home, it was the same but 5 times more fun. Students should have to know about the scholarship programme if you are lucky it would be a great help. Very satisfied with the outcome which makes us be engaged in many active programs and has the best speakers and exposure to the companies.

A modern university with diversity, scholarship and post-graduation opportunities.
Tips: The University provides with good exposure and opportunities to mingle with students from different places. I had applied for a scholarship before my arrival unfortunately, I couldn't get it. Many of the recent batch (February intake) students received scholarships for accommodation close to the campus. The University, course and country are good. The 3 year stay back option is really helpful for the students.
Likes (Safety): There are access cars for students to access the university facilities during weekends. There are study rooms that are pre-booked and are accessible during weekends too. People here are generally friendly however, there are reports of increasing crime activities from different parts of the city.
Dislikes (Student Life): Students pursuing PG courses do not spend much time at the University apart from attending lectures or preparing assignments. I had lectures for 2 hours every weekday in the first semester. The final semester comprises just a project with only once a week appointments with the project supervisors. A lot of events are organised by different clubs such as Students Associations, Employability Clubs etc. There are also events related to festivals such as Diwali, Onam etc.

Overall it's a really good and friendly university. I'd recommend it.
Tips: It's all good and nothing to stress about. The faculty is well knowledgeable and helpful. The student hub helps you with any queries you have including the visa and everything later on.
There are various events as well as student unions. It is a good university in NZ. The transition some might find it a bit hard but it's all for the better and the climate here compared to other countries it's very peaceful.

Good college with multi cultural diversity and part time opportunities.
Tips: Students should know that adjusting to the time zone can be difficult for a week. I availed 2 scholarships one academic and one for accommodation. I am fully satisfied with the University course and the beauty of NZ. However, the rent is expensive in the city but cheaper on the outskirts and have a good variety of cuisines and a good climate throughout the year.
Likes (Post study jobs): AUT has good networking and connections to the industry, no idea about Sponsor Visas for work but what I have seen is most of the companies require a permanent visa or at least citizenship to be considered to work there, there are multiple roles offered and good salary packages at least for the technology domain.
Dislikes (Part time work): Getting part time work is difficult compared to getting actual work. Managing part time with studies is easy since we are only allowed to work 20 hours max in a week unless it's a semester break where you can work 40, and the average payout is anywhere from 23-30 dollars per hour.

A good place to kick start your international education.
Tips: NZ is a wonderful place in general. So adjusting was not a problem. Finding accommodation is tedious so I suggest international students to opt for university accommodation for the first semester. There are good scholarships on the AUT website. It keeps getting updated regularly.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): For Masters the post study work visa options are attractive. Post that getting residence is also simpler compared to countries like US or UK. They also offer good visitor visa options for dependents. The student's spouse also gets a work visa till the time the student is studying.
Dislikes (Value for money): ROI is comparatively less for the course. The salary for jobs after the course is in the average range, especially for international students. It is however good if anyone plans to take up a Ph.D. after Master since AUT has good research programmes. A few courses are interesting as well.

A fruitless expensive adventure.
Tips: Given the current conditions the move isn't worth it. Better to invest the money elsewhere. Part time job hunting isn't supported and neither is full time job hunting after the course. I would have much rather preferred to have invested the money in the market or opened up a business with it which would've yielded better results.
Dislikes (Student Life): Covid hit as soon as my student life began. Although the university held online classes, there weren't many opportunities to interact with and build relationships with our professors. No activities or guidance were provided to students during this crisis.
