Best cities to live in. The faculty help in networking.
Tips: For students moving here there will be a cultural shift for sure.
It is smart to get referrals for on-campus jobs, as they are limited. Try staying Bridgeport area, as it is affordable and safe. Chicago is one of the best cities in the US, you will get to a lot of networking events outside the university which can help you in many ways.

One of the most Amazing Experiences.
Tips: There's definitely a cultural shift. I personally loved the new country/city/university challenge and was up for all the tasks ahead. Find good friends/roommates who will guide you and help you in your transition. Don't hesitate to change your accommodation if not suitable for your academic preference. I didn't avail of any scholarships because I wasn't aware of any. There are different undergrad and graduate school scholarships available so do your research. I can say that I am somewhat satisfied with the course/university. Definitely would have liked a cheaper college but I suppose I did the best I could with the scores. Chicago is a beautiful city. The summers are short but pleasant, winters are long and the city is covered in snow for almost 3 months so definitely extreme weather conditions will take some time to get used to but it is undeniably beautiful. Some parts of the city are not safe and generally, you will be aware of those with research. Try to avoid those areas and don't wander alone at night. Everything will be great. Good luck to whoever reading this for your future.
Likes (Public transportation): Chicago has one of the best public transportation systems with frequent trains and buses even during night times. It is super affordable as semester passes are generally provided by the university as part of your tuition fees. Public transportation runs in all weather (even in heavy snow and rain).
Dislikes (Part time work): On campus part time jobs are available but very limited. Usually, you get them through connections. 100s apply but a chosen few are selected. Very much depends on the particular facility you are applying for. Personally, I applied but never got any. It is definitely manageable. Sometimes you will have to do weekend shifts or work late at night but the campus provides late-night drop offs. Pay is generally minimum wage in the state (usually $12/hr - $14/hr).

Many Indian students are present in the campus.
Tips: In college, maximum number of students in ITM and CS branches are Indian only.
So there was no cultural shift that I experienced. Initially, you may feel some changes and that's all.
But after 2-3 weeks it will be the same. One should just focus on GRE and SOPs.

US has its drawbacks too. Think carefully
Tips: Be prepared for a new life. College doesn’t matter. Personality matters. If you are smart you will get a job at Google and if not you will end up back in India wasting your money. So think carefully about the courses you are taking and the people you are hanging out with.

Great faculty and a diverse student life.
Tips: Students will know all of the clubs and opportunities. The university has strong connections that help its students. The faculty and students are also so supportive of each other. They have some standout teachers who have been involved with their students and have helped them grow professionally. I am quite satisfied with my experience.
Likes (Quality of faculty): I like the college because there is no sexism or racism there. The college has many clubs, which allow students to interact with other departments. The college is also recognised for its research, as well as the importance of collaboration and communication between individuals and organisations in the workplace.
Dislikes (Indian Food): The faculty provides good orientation, which helps students to know about the career opportunities. I hope everyone will find good opportunities in tech with engineering skills and experience to help them achieve their goals and achieve their dreams.

The faculty are well experienced and supportive.
Tips: Scholarships are available at the university, and I got my scholarship from my marks or entrance test for college admission. My college days are spent in the lecture hall or doing assignments with my friends or studying with my friends or teachers. There's so much support for student learning and achievement.
Dislikes (Value for money): The fee is justified because the faculty are well experienced and explain everything in a simple way. The faculty are good at supporting the students and they treat them like their own children. You should not feel lonely at the college, and the students are very innocent.

College is good, faculty are amazing and the audience is almost Indian students.
Tips: I did my research and read the course descriptions thoroughly. I was awarded a scholarship based on my GPA and extracurricular activities. At first, it was quite difficult, but I knew I had to do it and I chose a course that I wanted to pursue further. The university is always happening and there are many on-campus events, activities and workshops so do participate in it. I am very satisfied with the course, country and college.

Illinois Institute of technology has an academic oriented approach.
Tips: Before joining IIT students should be prepared for a rigorous academic program, a smaller campus community and life in Chicago with its opportunities and challenges, including harsh winters. Transitioning to IIT involves adapting to the American teaching style, independent living and cultural differences. Scholarships, like the Residential Scholarship, often help with tuition but rarely cover living expenses. IIT is academically rewarding but must adjust to the cultural and lifestyle changes in the U.S.

Course is not amazing, easy going and relaxed. Stockholm is an amazing city to live in overall.
Tips: The transition was comfortable; everyone speaks English in the city. Was helpful. Little scope of scholarships. Satisfaction about the course is average, but I'm in love with the country and the university. In general, university fees are lower compared to other universities and have similar facilities as compared to other universities.
Likes (Student Life): Student life is wonderful. Lots of student activities, orientations, benefits, and insurance. In college, we have about 4 hours of classes. In the rest of your time, you can bask in the sun outdoors, play sports in college facilities, or go to nearby cafes on campus. Events organized include parties, trips, treks, sports, etc. All kinds of student clubs are available for us to join.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The quality of faculty is great, but theoretical stimulation is lacking in studies. Faculty is approachable and accessible. Lots of lab work that is useful on the industry level. We have lots of European and Asian teaching faculty. Some Latin American PhD students and teachers as well.

Good education, only if you can afford it.
Tips: Sweden has very good universities with high rankings, student life is hill, it attracts students from all over the world. It would be a pleasant transition for any Indian student. People are nice and speak English . I didn't got any scholarship. I am satisfied with my education but for job prospects it's bit tougher. But tuition feels here lower than USA, Canada or UK. So you can consider it.
Likes (Indian Food): As an Indian, you can find Indian stores and vegetarian food in Stockholm. You won't have a hard time with food options. Eating outside would be expensive for students. So everyone just usually cooks by themselves. Normal price for 1 meal if you want to eat out: 60-150 SEK.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): In Sweden there are limited opportunities for a fresh graduate to find a job. There are language constraints. And there is a high unemployment rate. And every year work permit rules are getting stricter. But still if you have some experience in a particular field you might end up getting a job. Starting salaries for graduates are 35-40 K SEK.
