Good exposure and growth.
Tips: After spending a year in London, I realised the real meaning of exposure. I was glad and felt privileged that I got to experience this wonderful city. I could not avail any scholarships as the application deadline was over but there is definitely a scope for everyone to receive a scholarship. I am extremely satisfied with the experience that I had in college. It offered me the latest knowledge in my chosen field.
Likes (Indian Food): There were several types of restaurants in almost all corners of the city. King's College London is located in the heart of London and has ample of restaurants offering all types of cuisines. There is a place called Sagar, which offers amazing veg Indian food.
Dislikes (Internships): The college only organised a few work fairs at the beginning of the session. There was little to no organisation of the student communication channel so that all students from the same classroom can get to know each other. There are no on-campus corporate internships available and all students have to search for opportunities off campus.

Small campus but great student life.
Tips: I learnt what real exposure means after coming to King’s College London. I changed completely after studying for just a year. I could not avail of any scholarships. I am extremely satisfied with the quality of life and education King’s offers. The professors are extremely helpful and are always willing to guide students to the fullest. The lecture and class pattern is arranged such that students get enough time to prepare and learn on their own. The flipped classroom approach (online + offline) is something that didn’t sound good at first but the importance of it came into light later in the year.
Likes (Student Life): The college although it has a small campus size but offers a large number of club activities including sports and fitness, cultural and heritage and other forms of arts. There are several lounging spaces throughout the campus and the facilities are top notch with student mental health in mind.
Dislikes (Part time work): Work fairs and part time centric fairs were only held during the start of the session and then there were minimal to no updates on this topic. Even during these work fairs, companies explained about the roles and offered goodies but the application was still online with no real opportunity highlighted.

Select the course you are interested in, rather than just the college name.
Tips: The quality of your experience largely depends on the course you adopt or take up. Be sure to vet the contents of the course and also know of your faculty members teaching here before investing. The institution is renowned for Competition law and other allied specialities. Do your homework thoroughly before investing.
Likes (Internships): Guidance is available on the careers page of the website, and the alumni network is helpful. The alumni base on LinkedIn is also very helpful in guiding one in the application forms as to the kind of answers and responses that should be given in the application forms for an internship to materials.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The label of any university is not sufficient - work experience and individual merit matter very much. Will strongly recommend applying for internships in the UK alongside coursework, and also, if you are pursuing a Master's, then gaining some relevant work experience in your home jurisdiction first.

Positive but less hands-on experience.
Tips: The experience at King's is truly one of a kind. You meet so many people, and that is extremely helpful. The cost of living, including accommodation, is quite expensive here. While I am very satisfied with the college infrastructure, there could be more internships and hands-on experience offered.

Thriving and supportive community.
Tips: I was really excited about studying here from the get-go, and I indeed did have a great time. You will be surrounded by some of the most rightist, creative and unique minds out there, and you will also naturally figure out your own niche. Once your student bank account is functional, you will get to take advantage of a lot of discounts and deals, so get that done as soon as possible.

A great global exposure with best faculty and university.
Tips: I have seen major changes in my personality since I joined this course a year ago. From becoming a multi-tasker to widening my perspective towards cultures and people from all around the world, this growth has been a great blessing. I was not awarded any scholarship. I had the most supportive, helpful, intelligent and fun professors in my course. Made the subject matter super easy and they all had great knowledge of their subject. They encouraged doubts and would sit with you till they were all cleared. The course was structured to get the best out of students. The post-study job market is a bit harsh and it would be great if the college took more initiative in having placements for the students. Overall, I am 100% satisfied with the course, university and the country.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): If you have a great profile before your Master's - for example, 1-2 years of relevant work experience, professional degrees, etc. - then your chances of getting a post-study job are much better compared to someone going for their Master's right after undergraduate. The post-study job market is very competitive, rewarding only the best candidates.

BSc Physics - Batch of 2025

King's College London does not provide much internship opportunities.
Tips: There was not much of a cultural shift. Coming from a metropolitan city, like Delhi, to another metropolitan didn't seem like much of a difference. The only thing that is needed to get used to the city is the cost of living. Takes about a month or so to adjust to the cost of daily expenses. I did not get any scholarships as I am not eligible for any. Being an Indian male studying Physics doesn't really suit the majority of scholarships at King's. The teaching faculty is generally good but the admin staff is not that great for our department. They will always find a way to make you run around to get basic things like your marks or even exam papers. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences here.
Likes (Public transportation): Covent Garden and Holborn station are within walking distance of campus, but using public transportation can quickly become expensive if you exceed your budget. Buses are a good alternative, but convenience depends on where you live and the route you travel. The tube is definitely faster.
Dislikes (Internships): There is not much support from the university. Generally, one has to be part of the relevant student groups/societies to get an idea of how the internship process works in the field of choice. The university has some help available to review CVs/Cover Letters and a practice interview round.

The transition to London helped me gain social skills and boost confidence.
Tips: London can be incredibly expensive. However, there are several ways to find affordable ways of living as a student so ensure you do your research before moving to London. KCL and London in general are very metropolitan so there are countless cultures and ethnicities to mingle with, making it smooth and quite enjoyable. For scholarships, it's quite difficult to avail of any as most are offered to Masters students and the UK very rarely offers scholarships for international students. However, there are different ways to avail of bursaries depending on your university/course. Students should ensure they do extensive research as they tend to be hidden.
Likes (Public transportation): London's public transport is world-renowned, very well-connected, and also very easy to navigate and understand. However, it does tend to be quite expensive if you live far from the city centre. There are buses, the London Underground and the London Overground. Most train services end at night but on the weekend, there are night tubes that run late into the night so it's possible to get home after night out.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): It is quite difficult to secure a job if you're not studying for a highly-value degree. Visa sponsorship is quite easy to secure, especially at bigger firms. Again, depending on the major studied, salaries and roles can range from impossible to secure to incredible remunerative.

One of the financial hubs in the world does help you to transform.
Tips: King's College provides you with various opportunities to showcase your talent. I did transition after coming here both academically and personally. I did not get any scholarships but the college does provide them and other financial aid is available as well.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty here is really qualified with much knowledge and expertise. Most of them work in the banking and finance fields simultaneously. Friendly, helpful and very much approachable if needed. Teaching methods are also very up-to-date and provide access to financial software such as Bloomberg, Stata and MATLAB.
Dislikes (Value for money): Being an international student, 40 Lakhs of tuition fees for one year of Masters degree plus living expenses in London, with no job placement and security, the value for money is not justified. Part-time work hours for students are also very restricted.

Great but could be better
Tips: The process of shifting is quite well but learn to find all the contacts needed beforehand to solve issues. Contact people and don't hesitate. Find fixed places to eat quickly. Join forums or clubs etc. in case you will feel lonely really fast even if you have friends. Talk to everyone a little and branch out.
Likes (Indian Food): I prefer cooking myself but there are still many Indian food options in London. Most of them are quite well made as well. As for pricing, it's cheaper if you go to the restaurant and not if you order at home. Try to find places with student discounts because they have many of those.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): It has quite a direct way of immigration if you're a student. There's the graduate visa option for now which can give you time to search for jobs etc. There are also a lot of immigrants which shows it's not exactly impossible. The only issue is the current government which may come out with new policies making it tough.

Overall good experience at KCL.
Tips: The city is good. The course has a great structure and the university has a lot of resources. The degree is tough but rewarding. There are a lot of opportunities for internships/placements. Living in London is a great experience (barring the slight safety problems).
Likes (Public transportation): London has very accessible public transport. Between the tube, overground, national express, bus, night buses and walking, I think it's possible to get anywhere in London. As a student, you also get a discount on public transport. It's available most times of the day and is very convenient to use.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): It's possible to get permanent immigration, but it's difficult to get a sponsorship. It truly depends on what course you're doing and what market you're applying for jobs in. If I had the chance I would consider permanently migrating to the UK for sure. The job prospects and academic potential here are far higher than my country of origin.

Most beautiful campus in London
Tips: It is a top university and one of the best in the UK. Its campuses are at the heart of London, with so many sites and attractions nearby. However, this does mean the university is not for everyone as it is a very busy and fast-paced environment in London.
Likes (Quality of faculty): King's College London has amazing faculty members for all different departments. It also has several university campuses and student halls across London. The university has top-end lecture halls, laboratories and sports facilities. It has unarguably the best university campuses in London compared to other London universities.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Immigration lawns are very strict at the moment in the UK. Difficult to find jobs in the UK as a whole but is slightly easier to find jobs in London. This does however mean jobs, especially graduate jobs in London are very competitive. To get more immigration information please refer to the UK government website.

Once in a lifetime opportunity to study here.
Tips: One of the standout features of this university is the extensive array of societies. Whether one's passion lies in arts, sciences, sports or social causes there is a society for everyone. The university also provides ample opportunities for students to work whilst studying so they can develop their professional skills gain valuable experience and manage their finances effectively all while pursuing their academic endeavours.
Likes (Value for money): Once-in-a-lifetime experience. You will not regret it. It is a little expensive compared to other areas but there is a lot to see and explore while studying at university. There are also a lot of universities in London so you get the chance to network with people from different courses backgrounds and beliefs.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Not many jobs are available for post-graduates, but if you do get one they are quite good in terms of work culture and salary. I am not too sure about this topic as I am not a post-graduate, but there are quite a few people who are without a graduate scheme and some people who have secured amazing graduate schemes.

Amazing life at King's College London, UK
Tips: One of the best universities to get into. Also the life in London is amazing. The connectivity of public transport is something which is commendable. The college is in the heart of the city and has almost every facility available for students. The teachers are well experienced and helpful.
Likes (Student Life): Life at KCL is simply amazing. There are several things going on at any given point in time to keep the students engaged. The campus is clean and very near to the tube stations making it very convenient for the students to walk from tube to the college.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The faculty are very interactive and help out with any problems that students have. They have designed a very engaging way of studying and making the students understand the root of everything. For the final dissertation, the faculty will help you with everything to make it easier for you to research.

The college is good but there is a bit of placement issue.
Tips: My friends and colleagues have all graduated from King’s College London. It has a good placement record and is the best college for our future. There are many groups in the college for different problems, like social discrimination and ragging, that allow us to resolve issues, give people more work, and improve the security solution. There is a little bit of an issue with the placement in the college. It has something to do with the companies that have been coming to our campus. There are many, but they only hire students who have higher qualifications or abilities. That’s why you might encounter a few issues while getting placed. By applying to and completing the admission process, we can confirm our enrollment there, begin our studies, and work toward a degree.

King's College London is expensive but worth it.
Tips: The courses are challenging so you have to work hard. Make sure you attend classes regularly. You'll spend a lot of time at the library so you need to learn how to manage your time and stay focused. The professors are great, the curriculum is amazing, and the people are very helpful. London life is amazing, and exploring the city was a lot of fun. The people are really nice, and you feel at home. Everything is very systematic, so you will have a lot of fun.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The job market is currently very bad in the UK and immigrants are not being considered for employment. With the change in government it has become even more difficult for immigrants to find employment. Graduate jobs do not pay well so it is difficult to save money. However, overall my experience at KCL was great.

King's College London- Pre-planning and living in London Central.
Tips: There are no scholarships at King's. London is much more expensive than you think. The food is very bland, so you should know how to cook. The courses are highly competitive, and almost half of my class failed their first and second attempts. So, make sure you are here to study, because it will be a major factor moving forward. Choose your accommodations wisely. Options are university accommodations, off-campus shared houses near the university making travel costs almost zero but rent is too high as it is central London or off-campus accommodations that are farther away but less expensive.
Likes (Public transportation): I lived in central London near Borough station, and could walk to my university. However, the busses and tubes were equally convenient. Now that I live in the outskirts, I've noticed that there is public transportation to every corner of the city. In other cities, like Cardiff, where my friend lives, travel is limited to trains and occasional busses. London's public transportation is so good that you don't realize how good it is until you leave the city.
Dislikes (Value for money): I paid around 30 Lakhs INR, which I feel wasn't worth it because I really had to do most of the work myself and I also ended up writing the wrong exam, ultimately making me lose my distinction which isn't something I would expect when I pay so much for a university.

Queen Mary University does not provide on campus accommodation.
Tips: First of all, Queen's University is a very huge university, but I should clarify that most of the students coming to in University doubt their accommodation. Queen Mary University does not have on campus accommodation. I was living in Aspire Point which was situated in Stratford accommodation. All these accommodations are located away from Queen's University. They have accommodation which is 10 to 15 minutes away from the university.
Likes (Indian Food): Every food option is available in London city, Queen's University, situated in North and Central London, where you can get every type of Indian food. There are multiple Indian restaurants there you can get Chai Padi as well as Chole Bhature, Pav Bhaji.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Permanent immigration options currently in the UK are less favourable for the student as the government has made its immigration policies strict. They are also tightening up the ILR route by making it tougher. They are aiming to reduce the number of immigrants coming to their country.

Fun loving multidimensional university.
Tips: Queen Marine University is well known for its M.Sc. programmes and there are a lot of international students who take admission in the university every year. I received a 2000 scholarship of which was given to me by Queen's University of London, considering my undergrad marks. I am completely satisfied with my university course.
Likes (Internships): The university offers internship opportunities in London which we can apply directly through the university portals which makes it easy to apply to such an internship and also these internships are very helpful in gaining real UK world experience.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The current situation in the UK is a very tough and competitive market right now. So finding a post to study the job in the field is quite challenging. Also due to new strict policies, companies sponsoring International students are decreasing day by day and also sponsorship fee has also been hire above. The minimum salary to be sponsored has also been raised.

Huge campus and friendly environment.
Tips: Queen Mary University is part of the Russell Group which makes it a repeated university among many universities in London. The university has a very huge campus, which is full of life. Moving into London from India was a big transformation for my life in terms of friends and everything. I received well scholarship of 3000, which is an excellent scholarship that I directly availed from Queen's University of London. I'm completely satisfied with my course, country and university.
Likes (Public transportation): I was living in the Aspire Point in Stratford. Connectivity of the whole of London is best via Stratford. Stratford provides the best connectivity in terms of buses, National Railways, underground and overground trains. It takes only one bus from Apsire Point to reach Central London.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The laws introduced by the UK government which doesn't support permanent immigration here in this country. The rules are now strict and the white paper has been entered. According to which ILR will be given in note for five years but for 10 years, given a chance, I would definitely settle, but considering the situation that this country is going through right now, I would rather seek another European country for settlement.

World class education with global perspective.
Tips: From India, it has been quite a significant transition. There were noticeable differences in the directness and communication in the pace of life. The allowance covered a portion of my living expenses. I'm very satisfied with the university's course as it is intellectually stimulating and well structured and with the UK. As my country of study, I've had a rich international experience.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The quality of faculty is above ordinary. The faculty was generally quite accessible and approachable. Often to provide extra guidance of lectures are unique teaching methodology. I observed was a strong emphasis on collaborative problem-solving. Students were encouraged to work together to find solutions in terms of diversity. The faculty were indeed quite mixed with members from various nationalities, enriching the learning environment with different perspectives.

Brilliant law, faculty and exposure.
Tips: Queen Mary University is situated in Central London, which is also called the heart of London. Queen Mary University itself has the biggest campus among all universities in Central London. It's the campus with all the amenities. I felt really lucky to be part of Queen Mary University. I am completely satisfied with my university.
Likes (Part time work): Queen Mary University has a student career support team which is dedicated to providing students post study and part-time jobs. They are studying for part-time jobs, jobs are listed in the university as well, where students can apply for roles such as a student ambassador, which are really crucial for CV enhancement and this job is also paid.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The per Aman Mensch option here in the UK is not that great right now due to the recession and illegal immigrants. The government is taking strict steps to combat the situation. If given a chance I would not settle in this country right now because the conditions don't favour settlement.

Repeated university holding a high standard of studies.
Tips: Before coming to London, and especially Queen Mary University of London, I was looking forward to coming to the UK for my Master's. The transition has been quite dramatic as I have to move here by leaving my family back at home. It was my first time that I was going somewhere without my family. The culture is completely different. I did avail 3000 in scholarship. I got the scholarship by directly applying to the scholarship via Queen Mary University's website. I am completely satisfied with my university.
Likes (Student Life): The student life is just awesome. I met many friends here and spent quality time with them, making our relationship lifelong. The teacher here are extremely talented and have all their subject. The study here is quite inclusive and interactive.
Dislikes (Part time work): The part-time opportunities are provided by the university itself as well and it's located in a very good location where we can get part-time jobs easily by visiting the stores and the shops. Queen University job portals, also publishers, part-time jobs within and outside the university, making it very easy for the students to find and apply for the part-time jobs. The minimum pay is 12.21 per hour. It may be more for some experienced roles and a student can only work 20 hours per week and 40 hours per week during the Holiday season.

Reputed quality teaching memories for lifetime.
Tips: A diverse campus with a strong sense of my transition has been smooth, though there's been a noticeable cultural shift, particularly in everyday interaction. I didn't avail any scholarships. I applied through the process and the allowance is based on my financial situation. I am very satisfied with my university course and the country.
Likes (Public transportation): The campus is incredibly well-connected. You've got like green and white Chapel nearby, which gets you to Central London or other parts of the city. There are also numerous bus routes and the cost is what you expect for London with an Oyster or contactless, making it really simple overall public transport is accessible and convenient. And personally, I was living in Aspire Point, which was located in Stratford and Stratford, for the reference provides the best connectivity throughout London.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): It feels like a long and difficult path with very specific requirements for those hoping to stay a long time. If I had to, I'd say my chances of permanent immigration are quite low, and while I've enjoyed my time here, the uncertainty regarding permanent settlement might lead me to look for opportunities elsewhere in the future.

Excellence in education in the heart of London.
Tips: For M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence students it's a good idea to familiarize yourselves with the specific course modules and ensure they align with your interests. The university is known for its research so that's another point to consider about the culture. The city offers a diverse environment which can be very stimulating for some. I have had good experiences so far.
Likes (Value for money): Compare to similar programs at other top universities Queen Mary's M.Sc. in artificial intelligence, a school with a really well rounded curriculum with excellent faculty and facilities. The knowledge and skills. I gained a high value in the job market and this directly translated to enhanced career prospects.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): There are ways, but they're tough, needing a good job or showing you're stable. I'd say the chances are okay, depending on the person. As for me, it's a tough one. The UK is great, but my plans will depend on what's out there and what's important to me.

First class educational experience in London.
Tips: Students should know that it is a vibrant place to study. It's located in a great part of London, so there's always plenty to see and do regarding the transition. I found the support services really helpful. They made the process of adapting to a new system much easier. I received the International student scholarship which was based on academic merit. I am very satisfied with my university and course. I feel like I've gained a lot.
Likes (Indian Food): Indian food is available. Everything from super spicy to sweet dishes. In Wembley, where I am located now there are tons of Indian restaurants for every budget. You can get curries and biryani for 10-15 or go to a nicer place for 20-30. There are even fancy restaurants if you want to spend money freely where the cost can rise to 40+ per person but I like trying different spots to experience all the flavours and vibes that are available.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Immigration in the UK can be difficult because of the new rules and costs. I have been more focused on studies and work here but if given a chance, I would completely consider staying because the UK has great opportunities a cool vibe and a good quality of life.

Fun, loving, good faculty and prestigious.
Tips: Queen Mary University, London, is known for its diverse population of students from 80 countries who come here to study. This university is part of a group of universities, which makes it a prestigious university in itself. I availed a 3000 scholarship. I am completely satisfied with my decision as I had no plans to settle.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation from my accommodation to my college was extremely convenient. I used the bus service. The bus charges are 1.75 flat for one hour. You can travel unlimited times within that one hour time you can change any number of buses. My campus was in zone 1, so I had to travel from zone 1 to zone two more fun; it's expensive when you travel from zone 2.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): If given a chance to settle in this country, I would not accept it. The immigration laws are very strict. Now the government is inclined towards the fact that a student studying here should not find it easy to settle here. They insist that students go back to their home country.

Tips: Moving to London was quite an exciting thing for me. I was excited about moving to the London Queen Mary fulfilled all of my excitement. I did avail 3000 in scholarship. I am completely satisfied with my decision to move to Queen Mary University of London.
Likes (Indian Food): In London, every food option in the world is available. There are immense options in London for India. Every Indian food is available in London, especially in areas like Wembley and Southall and Hounslow. From Satta Chutney, you can get from Chole Bhature to VadaPav.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Permanent immigration option in the United Kingdom is not that good right now because of the new policies introduced by the United Kingdom government. The INR has been increased from five years to 10 years and also the PW duration is reduced from 24 months to 18 months.

Value for money and friendly environment.
Tips: Before coming to London, you should adapt yourself being away from a familiar environment. You will see yourself alone during the initial days and find it difficult to adapt to the cold weather. I received a 3000 excellence scholarship. I am completely satisfied with the amount I invested and the outcome I got from QMUL, as it is a part of the Russell Group.
Likes (Student Life): Student University, London is awesome. I live at Aspire Point, which is the accommodation provided by QMUL. My campus was 15 minutes away. From there, there were many societies I participated in Vair event member of the Indian society. There, I enjoyed every moment of student life.
Dislikes (Safety): The Queen Mary University of London is situated in the north London area due to increased crime in London. It's not safe during the night to walk alone in the shady areas, as incidents of stabbing have been reported in those areas. Not only was disturbing theft the main concern in those areas during my university days I also avoided it by working alone at the nighttime; we always used to work in groups.

Russell group is academically oriented.
Tips: It was a huge cultural shift for me when I came to the United Kingdom for my master's but after coming here, I realised and so many Indian faces here in London and even in my university, so I became familiar with them very easily. I did avail 1000 in scholarship. I am completely satisfied with the university, but if would have were no fees for the year would have been the best value for the university.
Likes (Indian Food): I was living in an Aspire Point, Stratford. We had brilliant connectivity throughout London from Stratford and every Indian food option was just minutes away from us would enjoy Dal Makhni, Samosa Rajma Chawal and everything that we craved for in a superstore like ASDA, where you even get Indian groceries. I usually cook food for myself, but I’m a foodie, so I would often eat out two days a week
Dislikes (Part time work): Getting a part time job and living in London is not that easy. You have to work hard to get a part-time job that pays you. Well, you need to craft a CV according to the job and you need to apply for many jobs. You even have to walk in with a CV to the shop. The average minimum pay is 12.21. It becomes quite easy to handle and manage expenses. If you work 20 hours a week.

Study oriented, lots and lots of learning and cultural diversity.
Tips: London culture is quite different from my home country. People here are always busy. Yet they are incredibly welcoming and respectful. It did take me some time to adjust, especially to the weather and the food. Living expenses are quite high, and if you are a vegetarian, food options can be limited, however, the experience of studying and living here has been rewarding.
Likes (Public transportation): I lived in Stratford, which was the university's accommodation named Aspire Point. My campus was only 12 minutes away by public transport and the connectivity from Stratford is one of the best you can get in London. Stratford is known for its public transport connectivity. You get Jubilee line furred Elizabeth line, Central and much more.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The immigration situation in the United Kingdom is quite complicated. Currently, settlement options are difficult due to the recent immigration policies of the UK government. They've restricted the immigrants and increased the ILR time from five years to 10 years. Also they reduced the PSW to 18 months which was earlier 24 months. Currently, the situation doesn't favour a settlement here.

Global university with a vibrant campus.
Tips: Queen Mary is culturally vibrant and academically well trained and professional. Its culture is very accepting and the opportunities it provides are vibrant. I did not receive a scholarship, which they say is merit based but I haven't come across anyone who has received one. The campus is huge, with so many different things to do and places to hang out and study. The library used to be my favourite place.
Likes (Safety): I personally have never felt unsafe on campus. There have always been security guards on the entrance, day or night and you are advised to show your ID to them whenever you enter. They make sure nobody except for students enters the campus, which makes the QMUL campus safe to stroll and hill.
Dislikes (Part time work): There are some jobs available on campus but I haven't come across anyone who has gotten them. Probably because there are so many of us and not that many jobs available. In terms of manageability, doing some sort of work part time is manageable because classes won't take up all of your time and most students do it because London is very expensive.
