A very good experience in France
Tips: One has to be ready to grasp the language fast and to be patient, as the paperwork sometimes is slow. There will be cultural shock and homesickness for sure, but one has to know how to cope up with that. It will be easy with a proper mindset for sure.
Likes (Part time work): I myself work part-time, and it's very efficient and easy. I have enough time to work and study. My work does not distract or disturb me from studying, which is my main and most important goal. I am glad that I can manage everything pretty well. The wages are also justified.
Dislikes (Value for money): Tuition fees are definitely justified; however, there can be a lot of things added for student life that will make the journey better. Building new associations in order to respect every student's culture will be great. Apart from that, the feeling is justified, as the professors are amazing.

Tips: As an Indian student, it’s honestly a bit of a challenge adjusting to French culture at first. It takes some getting used to things like randomly greeting strangers on the street or constantly saying thank you for every little thing.
When it comes to the financial side, the college does offer scholarships, including an early bird discount if you get your application in on time. Plus, the campus itself is really nice—the courses are solid, and you get to hang out with a huge crowd of international students from all over.
Likes (Safety): You get full health insurance coverage, and the campus has its own proper security team that keeps an eye on things. The city is honestly wonderful to explore, and getting to experience a whole new culture has been great. Sure, you run into challenges here and there, but you just learn to deal with them as they come. Overall, it’s a really safe city with solid security personnel who actually do their jobs well.
Dislikes (Internships): I haven't actually gotten it yet, but yeah, the college has its own portal and an alumni network. They do job teasers and campus job fairs, and the professors always talk about what openings are out there. There are definitely internships available, but the language barrier is the real hurdle. If you know the language, you can actually connect with people and get your foot in the door—otherwise, it’s a total uphill battle to find anything.

Tips: Studying in France was a dream come true. It's hard work, but you'll learn a lot. Be sure to learn some French and get yourself in French culture to get the most out of the experience. While I was there, I was lucky enough to be awarded not one but two scholarships. The first was an early bird award for registering early, and the second was an excellence scholarship for my academic performance.

A well-known college among French people.
Tips: Students need to know that if they know how to speak French, they will be much better off in this country. If they speak French, they'll find jobs, internships, and everything they need. French people prefer people who can speak their language, and of course, they'll want to interact with those people and indulge in their culture and food.
Likes (Part time work): I eventually ended up finding a good part-time job. I walked into a shop, and they just asked me if I could join right now at that particular time and spot. So, it depends on luck as well, but eventually, those who are looking for work will find a way to work things out.
Dislikes (Indian Food): We do have problems with the salt and spices, but it's not like we can't find what we need. We have issues with the same thing in India. As an Indian, I love Indian spices, and the food quality over here is quite original and good. It's not that it is mixed or you'll have to look for something original. We have people in India who don't sell good quality food products, but here you can find all sorts of products, like if you want to go for even a different range of the same in different ranges. There are choices and a price difference, but they are of perfect quality, and I can bet that your health will improve eventually.

Tips: Learning the French language and culture is a key part of the Kedge Business School. There are scholarships available for students. I received two scholarships, an Early Bird and an Excellence Scholarship. Bordeaux is one of the most student-friendly places to be. There are tons of facilities and discounts available to students residing in France.

Public transportation is affordable and functional most of the time.
Tips: Before joining Kedge Business School, make sure you apply for all the eligible scholarships. It can help you save a lot. Understand the value of language and learn it to avoid additional stress because a language barrier is a major issue here. Be ready for the bureaucracy. It can take months to get one document. Apply for the housing subsidy as soon as possible.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation is affordable and functional most of the time. It's convenient and well-connected. An annual pass helps save a lot. The applications give a real-time update on routes and modes of transport. Trams and buses are the 2 modes of transport in Bordeaux, while Paris has a great metro network.
Dislikes (Part time work): The school has very minimum on-campus part-time jobs. It's not about the payout, there are no jobs to begin with. However, you can manage work and academics, but you will get very little time for yourself; otherwise, it's manageable. The payout is legal, which is around 11 euros.

Tips: Check for Individual course reputation, and Kedge won’t help you much with job search, but it will give you tools and a network. It’s very international, so there’s a lot of scope to learn new things, and there are a lot of associations that you can be a part of.
Likes (Quality of faculty): There is always scope for improvement but I must say that Kedge has really good faculty. All of them are highly educated and experienced. They are very professional with great knowledge about the industry, and they keep themselves updated on industry trends.
Dislikes (Value for money): When you're out of college and search for a job, no one sees that you're from Kedge. They just look for experience. For international students, it's even tougher to get a job in France. There's a visa and language barrier. So, as of Kedge, they won't help you in getting companies to campus.

The campus offers student benefits and lots of association committees that help us grow.
Tips: Students should know that life is going to be tough, everything is going to make no sense, and you've got to learn a lot of things—specifically the French language. It's easy to get a scholarship, though. I got the Edge Scholarship, and that was 2500 euros. Student life is better here because there are a lot of government schemes to help you save money, plus there are a lot of government benefits you can take advantage of. The campus also offers student benefits, and there are lots of association committees that help us grow. As far as studies, I wasn't very satisfied my first year, but it got much better after that, so I'm happy now.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The faculty has strong theoretical knowledge but lacks practical insights and engagement. Some members are less responsive. Accessibility varies, some professors are open and supportive, while others maintain some distance and make it harder to seek help. Case studies and role plays are used to connect theory with practice, but these methods are not used consistently.

College is average and campus life is nonexistent.
Tips: Students should find out what they are looking for in a university, and does this Master's in Management Program meet their criteria, or is an M.Sc. a better fit for them. Bordeaux is safe and quiet. As a student, you shouldn’t have to worry too much about crime here. The city is navigable. Even late at night, public transport is functional around 1 am. There isn’t much to do in the city. The student clubs are mostly not interesting either. College is okay. Campus life is nonexistent. Also, the intermingling between different groups of people is less. Most people stay amongst themselves or their nationalities. The Master's in Management program at this university has been a disappointment overall, despite costing so much. If you must go here, pick an M.Sc. instead. It's the better choice.

It is very difficult to find part-time work in Bordeaux, due to the language barrier.
Tips: There was a lot of international experience. In my class, around 40 nationalities of students were there. There were many cultural shifts, but nothing that you cannot handle. I didn't get any scholarship. The city is well-connected with public transport. You can reach anywhere in the city by public transport, bus or tram. Public transport is cheap for students if you buy an annual pass. You can get an annual pass for 20 euros per month and 35 euros if you take a monthly pass. However, I'm not satisfied with my university. I have just completed my first year. It was too easy for the master's level. Also, I still don't understand the concept that I am studying with Bachelor's students from the exchange program in my course, MIM.
Dislikes (Part time work): It is very difficult to find part-time work in Bordeaux, due to the language barrier. Most jobs available to international students are illegal or pay little. The best jobs available are typically at Indian restaurants. However, the majority of part-time jobs on campus are only available to students who speak French, and there are only a limited number of these available.

Finding a job or internship is difficult for international students.
Tips: Edge Business School is a good college with staff who have work experience. Although being an international student is a bit of a disadvantage in getting the desired job and internship opportunities, because companies want their employees to know French. College will not be so useful in finding the opportunity; it's all about your connections, network, and your search.
Likes (Public transportation): Buses are available every 5 minutes. At the bus stops, you can find the scanner of the bus route, which will show the live timings, or you can use the app to know the details. You will be given prior notification if the route changes due to any football match happening in the city. In Marseille, there are 3 main modes of transportation: Bus, Metro, and Tram. Students below the age of 25 can get a yearly Metro card (RTM) for around 250 euros. If you are over 25, you need to pay 400 euros for the year. Or if you want, it will cost 400 euros per year. However, you can recharge the card monthly for 50 euros.
Dislikes (Safety): The second-largest seaside city in France is Marseille, hence it attracts all the refugees and immigrants from the neighbouring countries. Although found in only certain areas, it is advised not to go to those places after sunset. There are police everywhere in those areas who are friendly and will help if required. Since Marseille has lots of universities, you will find students from all around the world, and there is always something happening on campus or in the city, which gives cultural exposure.

Tips: The transition is difficult because things are slower here than in India, and everything must be done by oneself. Even the transportation is slow. The university is decent and reputable, which is good. Knowing the French language is a big help.
Likes (Safety): The safety at this school is decent, but there are some areas that you might want to avoid. The city has a problem with streetlights that don't work in some areas, leaving them pitch black and open for dangerous activity and conditions.

Tips and Tricks to Enjoy your Student Life.
Tips: The first thing is to start learning the language of the country you are going. That is very important, it makes life much easier. Scholarship opportunities were very less. I am satisfied with my university because it is quite good for marketing. It helped me in getting an internship and a post-study job.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty was very good and approachable. They explained every concept with real-life examples so that we can apply it in the real world. The focus of the courses was to prepare us for the industry. The teachers were from different countries with experience of working for different industries all over the world.
Dislikes (Part time work): There were less opportunity for any part time jobs if you didn't speak the language of the country, same goes for France. If you get a part-time job then I would say it is quite manageable. The coursework is not that heavy. You can expect around 10 euros per hour pay, and a maximum of 20 hours per week is allowed.

Tips: Before joining any college in France, make sure you learn at least basic conversational French. You should be able to at least hold a conversation for five minutes. It will be very difficult to socialise and get a student job without it. Apart from that, there are no major challenges. Internships are limited and hard to find, and the university doesn't help with finding any or offering you one. Tips: I recommend making international friends and stepping out of the comfort zone! Network as much as possible. Apply for jobs from Day 1. I didn't apply for any scholarships. I am going to give a 3/5 rating to my university and course. I am satisfied with the country! It shaped me into a better person, and I learned amazing values and cultures plus made lifelong friends.
Likes (Student Life): I attended daily lectures, which were quite engaging! Especially the office hours where I could have a 1:1 with the professors! There was flair all the way from the art fair to careers! I was the course representative, so I highly recommend doing the same.
Dislikes (Internships): There are occasional career fairs one should definitely attend and network! There are internships available, although I recommend applying from Day 1. Network with seniors and have a 1:1 with professors regarding your job search. They help you out in the best way possible!

A balanced review for QMUL
Tips: The cultural shift was positive. Different culture, but people were friendly since everyone is an immigrant and treats others kindly. I got a 3000-pound global merit scholarship from the university. I applied for it through the university website. I'm extremely happy that I chose the country and city, and I'm quite happy with my university choice and course.
Likes (Public transportation): The campus is very well connected. The bus stop is right outside the campus and the Stepney green and mile end tube stations are a 2-minute walk The public transport is not very affordable, though I think the bus is on the cheaper side for the whole day cap-wise. It is also very convenient.
Dislikes (Value for money): I think I am very neutral; hence, the 3 rating. The course was good, but I didn't learn anything exceptional that I wouldn't have in India. Though the experience was good, I think even if you go to any other college in India for your M.Sc., you might end up paying around 10 lakhs. Mine was 35, which was a little higher, but I guess I would recommend it for everyone for a different experience.

Tips: A new country definitely calls for a lot of transition. There is a cultural shift in the way you interact with professors and your fellow students. However, when in doubt, it's easier to clear this out with the professors or any staff that is ready to help through this. On the whole, the course is well designed with a masterclass that runs a project throughout from scratch, and it ends with a partnership capstone project where you can SEE live how to apply what you've learned in a real-world setting. SO I am personally satisfied with the course, and if you prefer a Russell Group university in a not-so-student-code city, it would be QMUL.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty for the School of Business and Management is always ready to solve questions or doubts raised by the students. Be it through office hours or in the class, active discussions are prompted, and they make sure classes are not just for assignments.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The UK as a country for permanent immigration comes with stricter rules and visa processes that are easier for more experienced professionals than for straight-out-of-university students. For students after university going into post-study work visas, the range of jobs, though available, is significantly lower to get into. For professionals it is suggested to find a job that can sponsor your visa. Given the time spent and the immigration rules changing during the course of your study, you can then think about permanent settlement, as there is no defined path yet.

Tips: You definitely need to brace yourself for the winters and make sure you sort out a place to stay before you head over. Honestly, your best bet is probably to just book an Airbnb for a month or two, and then you can hunt for a proper long-term place once you're actually on the ground in the UK. Aside from that, my uni experience was actually really good. Securing a job is very difficult in the western world irrespective of what university you get into. I consider myself lucky that I was able to get one. Regarding the uni, professors were quite knowledgeable and approachable, but I believe that the reason I was able to secure a job was because I was passionate about the world of finance and how the world works.
Likes (Public transportation): One of the very few campuses in London with a full-fledged campus, very close to central London with multiple tube stations around. Students have multiple accommodation options within the campus, so most of you would not require traveling by public transportation.
Dislikes (Internships): The university does not provide internships; any university, for that matter, in the UK, does not actively provide internships; it is up to the student to find one and build a strong profile. However, with university being in London and being part of the Russell Group, it does provide an edge.

One of the best law schools
Tips: Settling in London was a massive shock at first honestly. I did not know a single soul here at first so trying to find my feet in the city was honestly just pure stress. But everything got way easier once I actually made a few friends. Looking back I'm just really glad I made the jump—the vibe here is genuinely unmatched. It helps that QMU London is a solid Russell Group uni—their law school is honestly top-tier. Plus, I managed to snag a £2,000 merit scholarship from them just based on my undergrad grades, which definitely helped out with the bills.
Likes (Internships): I've given five stars for the internship opportunities. The university itself provides internship opportunities to its students. There is a dedicated portal for the students who want to apply for jobs and internships where internships and jobs are posted regularly; because of this, I have rated it very high.
Dislikes (Part time work): I gave four stars for part-time opportunities and jobs. When I first got here, I was aggressively applying everywhere, but my friends told me I should just walk into shops physically and ask them face-to-face. Luckily that worked and I snagged a job working 16 hours a week. I was making the minimum wage back then, which was £12.21 an hour, and I'd just schedule my shifts on the days I didn't have any classes.

Likes (Indian Food): London is filled with Indian food options specially in areas like Wembley South Hall, Hounslow. There are many Indian restaurants that offer multiple Indian cuisines from street Indian food to authentic cuisines. London has it all although I cook at home but on weekends, I usually go out with my friends.
Dislikes (Public transportation): The public transportation in London is very well collected and very well established. It is one of the oldest public transport system that consist of underground trains and overground trains and national railway; buses that run all around London. The only downside that I can say about the public transport here is that it's Harsh on the pockets of the students, though students have the option of getting a travel card on their student Oyster card.

Likes (Permanent Immigration): The United Kingdom is known for its rich culture. If you keep aside the recession part, this would be the country of my dreams. If given a chance I would definitely settle in here because of the quality of life that one gets here.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are a lot of Indian food options available here in London. London is one of those cities in the United Kingdom that has a high number of Indian and Pakistani restaurants. Every time an Indian restaurant is available in London whether it's Gujarat, Nepali, or North Indian, I prefer eating at home but occasionally I go out with my friends to eat out as well.

Too expensive for a degree, but overall an average experience.
Tips: People believe the country will look like it is in the movies, hence they come with a lot of expectations. Unfortunately, it's not. The campus life is mixed with diverse cultures, and we will all meet someone from our own culture. Everyone who performed well in their previous education gets access to the Global Talent Scholarship, amounting to 3000 pounds during my time. Overall university experience, I would give 3/5.
Likes (Indian Food): I personally believe there are a lot of shops nearby, and a bit of a walk would solve all the problems from where I have been. Coming from India, I liked staying in my accommodation since it's located in zone 2 and is accessible to a tube station. There are a lot of grocery stores available that would enable one to cook their own food as well, from Lidl to Sainsbury's.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): It's really difficult to get into a full-time sponsored job in this country. With strict immigration laws and the advancement of AI, one needs to stand out really well from others to get into the desired role. Personally, for me, getting a part-time job was difficult, but I managed somehow. With temporary settlement being this difficult, imagine permanent settlement.

You learn a lot and experience growth in many ways.
Tips: I would say choose a university based on your course and the modules offered there. Check for scholarships. I got a scholarship but at QMUL you do not need to apply; they send you a confirmation saying to submit a SOP of why they need to give a scholarship, after which you are picked to get one. I am very satisfied with the course.
Likes (Student Life): All classes were good. I liked my finance classes, complex network class. I used to do my work mostly in the library which is huge. SBM students also have access to Bloomberg labs. All events are well organised. I would suggest participating in everything. You meet people and learn different things and get to know a lot of stuff. I am in a few clubs. I loved being a Student venture capitalist and also an active member at the student union.
Dislikes (Indian Food): The Curve offers you good food for 10-15 pounds for a meal. Or you can always find meal deals in Sainsbury's and Tesco or other food places near campus.
I sometimes used to cook but you have a variety of options for food in and near the campus. Outside the campus you get meal deals for around 6 pounds.

Tips: Honestly speaking when I arrived here, I expected it to be difficult for me, but upon making friends with whom I spend time during the national days, they became like a family. I got a 3000 scholarship from QMUL.
Likes (Student Life): The student life is amazing; the exposure that you get here is unparalleled. Queen Mary University of London has students from more than a hundred countries and has more than three campuses of its own, offers in campus and off-campus accommodation as well.
Dislikes (Internships): When it comes to an internship the culture is completely different in the UK. They only provide guidance and help you with your resume. You have to apply for the internship yourself. They are not listed anywhere. You have to work really hard to get an internship.

Great public transportation.
Tips: Before joining the university I was a bit nervous because of the transition that would be taking place. I had no prior experience. Dislikes (Public transportation): Because of the great connectivity that you get from the Milan campus throughout London. From Mile station, it connects to every part of London via expended tube network also London bus service is exceptional. Leave the bus every 5 to 10 minutes at the station. The bus station is just one minute walking distance away from the university campus.

Permanent immigration can be a problem.
Tips: Speaking about the transition that I went through, that was pretty much smooth except the first week which was difficult for me as it was a new country but I already had a few friends that were living here for the last two years so they helped me to settle in. Getting a part time job can be challenging in the UK but with the proper support from the university I got my part time job within two months of joining the university. They have a separate site where they help students in creating their resume and they also list part time jobs there.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Because of the present events that have taken place. The laws introduced by the UK government restrict PSWP from 24 months to 18 months and there has been an increase in the sponsorship fee as well.

Lot more than just education.
Tips: My transition was quite challenging during the initial days. I took support of the University's mental well-being, society. They help me in settling in and I would suggest that if any of you find it difficult to settle in, there is always a mental will in society in every UK University; they are very kind to help, even if it is the smallest of matters. This thing at my university really impresses me. I received a scholarship of 4000. I am satisfied with my university and faculty members.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Exposure, the quality of teaching that London has been unmatched, was given at the University of London. After 1 year of Masters I found myself improved and change human being because of the exposure that I got from the faculty and peers here. This is something I remember and carry forward for all of my life.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Permanent immigration settlement, according to me in the current situation, the United Kingdom is not worth it as it used to be. Taxes are very high and living expenses as well, and if you talk about the opportunities, I think personally, there are more opportunities in India.

Quality education; gradually increasing crime rate.
Tips: Talking about the transition that I went through after coming from India here in the UK, it was quite challenging in the initial days while I was trying to settle in. We were two friends who came together for studies, so we managed somehow during the initial days, as time passed, made new friends and adapted ourselves to this new country. The quality of the faculty is just amazing. The professors have all the knowledge of their subjects. Just the professor of business schools. Call experience of real life, businesses and our classes were held in such an interactive way that it never felt like a theoretical class; it was a practical class. We always had a guest lecture after the second half of our classes.
Dislikes (Safety): Crime has significantly increased in recent times. People say that this is because of the illegal immigrants, but God knows what the reason behind it, it's no safer than it used to be, with multiple events involving international students. Being stabbed has been reported since my arrival, to be honest. I also feel scared while walking out alone at night.

Tips: Transition was pretty smooth after coming to the UK, as I already knew the inside of living here from my friends who have been studying there from last few years. They helped me in settling in and apart from that, there is a dedicated team at the university that helps you settle in quickly. I am completely satisfied with my university. Talking about the city, I expected more from London as it was my dream city since childhood.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transport provides great connectivity in the UK. Also, internationally, you can take a train from London to Paris. It's that good that I would like to give it to a student, get the student twister as soon as you and get it liked with the rail. You'll get 30% discount on every rail trip.
Dislikes (Safety): Safety is one of the major concerns and the recent issue is in the city of London. There have been multiple cases of students being stepped on mentally. Students who are coming to London should be extremely careful about taking their phones out of their pockets in busy areas.

The UK's recession and Queen Mary's excellent education.
Tips: Before joining, one should consider the current scenario in the United Kingdom. This lack of jobs here right now is going through a period of bad choices. They are currently committing illegal immigration. So getting a job can be difficult. If you're coming here, be prepared for facing rejections while applying, though the university provides some good exposure. Lifetime exposure for me as I was not looking for the jobs here.
Likes (Post study jobs): Queen Mary University of London has a separate portal dedicated to the students where they can search for graduate jobs. All the jobs are listed there, and if you're lucky, you can get one as well. Also, provide personal support to the student applying for the jobs and graduate roles. For my course, the usual starting salary is 30,000 per.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): I would say that three star rating is justified for the permanent immigration option. This is because of the lack of jobs. There is so much hardship and finding a graduate job United Kingdom. It's no more than you graduate and immediately get a job. There is a lot of struggle behind it takes one year to get a job, and continuous hard work. Good job, considering the session chances are quite low.
