Life in Singapore as a Masters student in NUS.
Tips: The culture is very friendly. As for me, I came from India, and I've lived in the US for many years so I did not face any difficulty adjusting here. No cultural shift unless you are not from an Asian background. I did not avail any scholarships, as the options were limited for US citizens.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation is very affordable and available everywhere. It is easy to access. The campus is on the outskirts of the city, but there are a lot of ways to get there. It can take a well-connected MRT (subway), and many buses go there. Hailing a cab is also an option.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Student visa does not extend further than 1 year post-study. Up to us to find a job. The chances I would have of permanent settlement are probably 60%, considering I find a job that pays enough to live comfortably. Job opportunities for foreigners are slightly less. If I had the chance, I would 100% permanently immigrate to this country.

A great way to build your future.
Tips: I didn't have much of a cultural shift because I was brought up here before but I think the other students, the English slang that Singapore uses, might be slightly overwhelming. Scholarship wasn't available for my intake, but for the upcoming intake, I heard that there are some scholarships.
Likes (Quality of faculty): NUS faculty are very experienced and well-known in the research field. They have amazing knowledge and the way they bring it forward to the students is inspiring. They are very approachable and they introduce us to many conferences and competitions to build our own interests and discover ourselves.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Post study jobs are pretty difficult to find, being an international student as the salary is pretty high for a sponsored visa, which is way above the fresher salary in general in Singapore. There are 3 different types of passes, the unskilled worker pass is the least, followed by the skilled worker pass, and then the professional employment pass. Usually, Master's students are allowed only for the EP.

Challenging yet enjoyable.
Tips: Be prepared for classes to be in the evening. Keep in mind, you are allowed to take 2 electives in the whole year. So what I did was take one elective in the first sem and another in the second sem. You can choose a course from ISD, Project Management or M.Arch as your electives, but when you register for your courses, make sure the electives you choose don't clash in timing and day with your BPS courses. Some of my classmates did that and ended up having to switch electives 2 weeks into the semester. No big cultural shift except that people adhere to and expect adherence to rules. So if the escalator says "Stand on left, walk on right", then please respect that and either stand on the left side or walk on the right. Similarly, all other rules should also be followed, like no eating in the metro and only flag down public buses when you want to board them, etc. For Masters, there are little to no scholarships available in NUS. Of course, it does differ department to department, but in Architecture & Engineering, it's almost non existent for foreigners. Singapore can be expensive but as students, you end up figuring out where the good deals are and how to have fun even on a budget. I'd advise checking the NUS part time jobs page when you join, it has many openings for part time jobs where you can earn some money on the side. I did part-time shifts at the Central Library in NUS, could easily earn 10 to 12 SGD an hour. If you find part-time jobs off campus, then that's also handy, just try to keep it on a schedule you can manage with your classes and assignments.
Likes (Safety): Singapore in itself is a very safe city. I was out on a walk at 4 am and didn't have to think twice about using earphones and walking. As a woman, it is a very safe city. The police take patrols at night, not like a military facility type of way, just normally. And people in general have a basic civic sense of respecting private space.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Singapore has Singaporean Indians, which makes the food a mix of South Indian and Singaporean food. Some food is similar and easy to eat, like sambar and dosa, and some I wasn't able to eat due to the difference in taste, like a few types of daal. Vegetarian people have even less options in indian food because if you're nitpicky, you'll end up going back to basic food like price and sambar. I would suggest trying Mala hotpot, you get to pick out the quantity and type of ingredients you want, so vegetarians can just pick out veggies, and you get to have that cooked in a sauce of your spicy level choosing with either noodles or price. Lots of people enjoyed that. Keep in mind that NUS has one food court for each different studying school, like Medicine, Architecture & Engineering, etc. So each food court has at least one Indian food stall that has the food I'm talking about. The other stalls all have different food like western food options, chicken & rice (Singapore style), Chinese food, etc. Those are really good to eat if you like exploring other options.

4.6
An academic journey through the best life experiences.
Tips: Singapore has a very diverse culture and population, so you never feel you're away from home. Scholarships are available. Life on campus is fun, everyone is friendly, and the campus is beautiful.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The professors have a very good understanding of the course material and make the classes engaging through presentations and case studies. Applying knowledge in real-time helps in a better understanding of the course content, and the professors have their own unique teaching styles and interactive methods.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Many companies are hesitant to sponsor work visas. While a variety of job roles are available, finding one that matches your requirements and secures visa sponsorship can be challenging. However, being in SG, a major trade hub, does make it easier to find employment opportunities.

Securing a job is challenging.
Tips: As a student from India, it was a very different experience to study in a culturally diverse university. The way academics are programmed is quite different, but not hard to transition into. I am very satisfied with my university, the freedom of my course and Singapore is one of the best countries to study in.
Likes (Student Life): Curriculum allows for a good balance between school and personal life. The infrastructure promotes your growth. NUS does a lot of events to keep students mentally, intellectually stimulated. There are committees and clubs for every interest, making things very inclusive and fun.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Securing a job is challenging, as obtaining an employment pass or work visa necessitates sponsorship. With Singapore moving towards greater independence, securing sponsorship is becoming increasingly difficult. Consequently, without industry contacts, it can be hard to get noticed.

NUS BBA - Batch of 2029

Faculty are always very approachable and friendly.
Tips: The cultural shock of studying in Singapore is milder compared to the USA, the UK, etc. The only culture shift to be mindful of is that following the rules is very important here - even when it's something small like crossing the road only when it's a green light. I did not avail any scholarship. I availed the MOE tuition grant, which is a 3-year bond that gets you a subsidised tuition fee in exchange for working for a Singapore-based entity for 3 years after graduation. Overall, I am satisfied with my course. The curriculum is modern and equipped with the skills required to survive in today's world.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Faculty members are always very approachable and friendly. They encourage students to clarify their doubts after classes, either through email or during office hours. While there isn't any unique teaching methodology, and most teaching is done through PowerPoint slides and lectures, the faculty is coherent and educated in their field of study. They always provide extra information for each topic and make sure the students have a background about what they're learning. Most teaching faculty are local Singaporeans, but a few guest lecturers are international, of different ethnicities from all over the world.
Dislikes (Student Life): There are clubs available for every activity imaginable, and even sports and activities most people would have never heard of. Clubs are quite active and meet about once a week. Other than that, there are intra-hall and inter-hall activities, inter-faculty games, and so much more. However, NUS also gets very academically intense during certain periods, especially around exams. This makes it really hard to participate in co-curriculars at those times. Overall, the plethora of choices makes it easy for anyone to join something they're interested in.

Students on student visas are rarely considered for off-campus part-time work.
Tips: Be prepared to be challenged by every classmate and every day. The campus will go to great lengths to provide any support you need. Leverage the strong alumni network and focus on networking events from day one.
Likes (Value for money): The global exposure and the quality of the faculty and peers provide unparalleled exposure and knowledge, making every penny worthwhile. The career services at NUS also strive to equip you with the resources you'll need to enter the job market.
Dislikes (Part time work): Students on student visas are rarely considered for off-campus part-time work, and it's difficult to find such jobs. There are no job boards for part-time positions, so the only option is to secure a position within the university.

The competition is very high and cutthroat.
Tips: I didn't experience any major cultural adjustments. While experiencing Singaporean culture is great, it really comes down to each individual's needs and preferences. Overall, I'm happy with my NUS experience, though there were some minor concerns that were likely specific to my cohort.
Likes (Value for money): I completely agree that it's a great value, especially when compared to similar institutions abroad in Europe, the UK, and the US. The quality of infrastructure and student life is also very reasonable. However, as a student, you'll need to learn to budget your expenses wisely.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The competition is very high and cutthroat, and as one of the leading countries in Asia, many people from around the world are seeking to settle here. It's difficult for companies to sponsor work visas, as there are many Singaporean nationals also seeking employment, making it easier for them to be hired compared to foreign nationals.

Intellectually challenging place.
Tips: Students should be ready to study a lot. They should be mentally ready to take difficult subjects and work on a lot of assignments and projects in all subjects simultaneously. The most important thing is the heavy competition you will be facing from your peers. Don't be afraid of it, but don't take it easy as well. I didn't avail of any scholarships. I am very satisfied with this university.
Likes (Student Life): I spend most of my time studying at college. I enjoy studying, working on projects and coding. I am also part of many clubs and thus I am happy with my current student life. Almost all events like sports, music, traditional events and many more are organised in the college. I participate in events that I like. There are technical and non-technical clubs, both on the campus.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I find more restaurants serving Chinese cuisine in my area (Clementi). However, if you travel to places like Little India, you will definitely find more Indian food stalls there, but as you move away from Little India, the count of stalls reduces. In my college, I find hardly 2-3 Indian food stalls.

NUS is a university which rewards you for what you put into it.
Tips: You can get a lot of scholarships/bond to lower the cost of tuition fees at NUS. I think I'm pretty adaptable, so transitioning to living in Singapore was not a problem at all, and while there have been high highs and low lows, all in all, I'm quite happy with my university life.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The statistics faculty is very diverse and quite friendly. The course material taught is a great balance between practical and theoretical knowledge. The other courses I've taken outside of Science have also been amazing with some great faculty. Of course, there will be some professors you may not connect with, but I've not had a problem like that really.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): I can't really answer this question accurately as I haven't graduated yet, but from what I've seen of previous classes you will definitely be able to find a good job in Singapore as long as you are applying to a good selection of companies. The employment rate in my faculty is extremely high.

NUS is a research institution, and many courses are designed with a strong research component.
Tips: Before joining the National University of Singapore (NUS), students should consider several important factors to ensure they make the most of their time there. NUS is one of Asia's top universities, known for its high academic standards and competitive atmosphere. Students should be prepared for a challenging curriculum that emphasizes independent learning, critical thinking, and research. It’s important to be disciplined and motivated, as the workload can be demanding, and the expectations for academic performance are high. NUS is a leading research institution, and many of its courses are designed with a strong research component. Students interested in pursuing research opportunities should be proactive in seeking internships, faculty collaborations, or lab positions. The university encourages students to engage with cutting-edge research and provides numerous resources for those interested in academic inquiry. As a global university with students and faculty from all over the world, NUS offers a highly diverse and multicultural environment. Students should be open-minded and adaptable to a variety of cultural perspectives and communication styles. This diversity can enrich the educational experience, both inside and outside the classroom. While NUS is highly regarded by employers globally, the job market in Singapore is highly competitive, particularly in fields like technology, finance, and engineering. Students should actively seek internships and networking opportunities early in their academic journey. Building a strong professional network while at NUS can be crucial for securing post-graduation employment.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The quality of its faculty consistently attracts and retains top-tier academic staff who are renowned for their expertise, research contributions, and teaching excellence. NUS is one of Asia's leading universities, and its faculty is internationally recognized for their cutting-edge research across a wide range of disciplines, from engineering and computer science to business, social sciences, and the humanities. The university's faculty members often have advanced degrees from prestigious institutions around the world, bringing global perspectives and best practices into the classroom. Many faculty members are pioneers in their fields, having published influential research or contributed to groundbreaking innovations. This high level of expertise ensures that students are exposed to the latest knowledge and trends in their areas of study, making their educational experience both enriching and relevant to current global challenges. In addition to their academic qualifications, NUS faculty members are dedicated to providing high-quality teaching and mentorship. They engage students through innovative pedagogy, encourage critical thinking, and create an intellectually stimulating environment. The university’s emphasis on research-led teaching also allows students to participate in cutting-edge projects and collaborations, further enhancing the quality of their academic experience. Moreover, NUS fosters a culture of continuous professional development for its faculty, ensuring that they remain at the forefront of their respective fields. This commitment to excellence in both teaching and research is a key reason why NUS consistently ranks highly on global university rankings, solidifying the quality of its faculty.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Singapore’s immigration policies are generally selective, and while the country has been making efforts to attract skilled talent through programs like the Employment Pass (EP) and the S Pass, securing permanent residency (PR) can be a long and challenging process. NUS graduates, especially international students, may find it difficult to transition to permanent residency, as the criteria for PR are competitive and include factors such as employment, economic contribution, and family ties to Singapore. Furthermore, Singapore's focus is on maintaining a balanced population, so it is not as easy for foreigners to gain permanent residency unless they have highly specialized skills or significant economic impact. International students and workers are encouraged to contribute to Singapore's economy first, and only then can they be considered for PR, which means the immigration process can take years and is not guaranteed. While NUS provides world-class education, the pathway to permanent settlement in Singapore is less straightforward and often dependent on factors outside of the university's control, such as the national immigration policies, making it less attractive for those seeking long-term settlement.

Good exposure time to explore yourself.
Tips: One of the first things you must do when you arrive is to meet and make friends with other students. This will help you when you need help in a pinch. Also, be sure to enjoy the cultural festivals and participate in them. While I didn't get a scholarship, I am happy with the exposure I got to this country. There is affordable transportation for students. You can choose to use either your own vehicle or public transportation. City buses are available for everyone. As a student, you should prefer public transportation to help save nature. You can also use a bicycle for your daily transportation needs. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences.
Dislikes (Indian Food): The National University of Singapore (NUS) provides a diverse range of dining options that cater to students, staff, and visitors, with food courts, cafes, and restaurants spread across the campus. However, the pricing and value for money at these establishments have been a topic of discussion. Restaurants like The Royals Bistro and Platypus Food Bar serve Western and fusion dishes in a comfortable setting. While the food is delicious and presented well, the prices are relatively high for a student's budget. A meal here typically costs between SGD 10–15, making it less appealing for everyday dining.

A brutally honest and good review about my uni.
Tips: The staff members here are super helpful and friendly. To ask for support, "Help is given to those who ask for it". It is also very good at offering scholarships, and giving membership for sports and societies. Worth joining. Support is given, you can book meetings with your lecturers at their availability, etc.
Likes (Public transportation): Easy to access public transport, because I've experienced this before. Travelled by train, bus and cycle. You can purchase train and bus fares online and gain an e-ticket or real life ticket to use on public transport. If you live close by, you can easily walk to the campus or cycle there, which reduces the cost of travelling by public transport.
Dislikes (Internships): Not many opportunities, but to gain, it should be asked for. Although I have tried to ask for opportunities from outside of the university, it hasn't paid off, due to high competition for positions. Although it is worth trying, as it will give you loads of experience and opportunities to try.

An MBA that broadened my perspective.
Tips: Students should know that the environment is strict, with a very strong focus on independent study and practical application. The teaching method was discussion-based rather than lecture-heavy.
Likes (Student Life): My experience was very nice. The environment provided a good balance between academics and personal growth; I always felt supported and engaged. A day used to include lecture group discussion and networking with fellow peers. There were regular academic workshops, cultural events, guest lectures, career fair and networking meetups.
Dislikes (Internships): For me, the internship was not satisfactory and the process is heavily dependent on their own network rather than receiving institutional support. Also, there is very much limited guidance. But there are general resources available for personalised support and mentorship.

The professors are excellent, the infrastructure is great, and the library is the best part.
Tips: Be prepared for a significant cultural difference and be open to accepting it. People here are sensitive; you should be polite, and it's important to say thank you and sorry often. I received a scholarship of 5000 GBP, which I got by paying my full fees upfront. The professors are excellent, the infrastructure is great, and the library is the best part; I have access to it almost daily, and it provides space for work and socialising. I am satisfied with the university.
Likes (Indian Food): You can find Indian cuisine easily everywhere. Walking on any street in the UK, you'll find good and cheap Indian restaurants and cafes with competitive prices. Regardless of your country of origin, you'll definitely find restaurants here. Public transportation is very good, and you can commute anywhere by bus or train, and it's also very cheap.
Dislikes (Internships): I've observed that only a few students secure internships. This isn't due to a lack of opportunities, but rather the high level of competition. While I've only completed one semester, I believe it's not as difficult as it seems, but it's still very competitive. You need to prove yourself to get an internship. Otherwise, finding part-time jobs can be challenging, but you should be able to secure one within 1-2 months.

A valuable learning experience with unique challenges for international students.
Tips: The transition was generally smooth, although adapting to the academic structure and British culture took some time. The university does offer support when asked. I received the Phoenix Scholarship, which covers one year of accommodation within the student accommodation. To qualify you just need to pay 50% of the first-year fee before August for September intake. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences.
Likes (Indian Food): I live in Coventry City Centre, which is within a 2-mile radius of the university. There are lots of restaurants to choose from, and many of them are inexpensive. South Asian food is especially popular, and it's easy to find a restaurant that serves it. I prefer to cook for myself, but I do go out to eat with friends at least twice a week.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Currently, there are no jobs, and recently the government changed some policies that affected the companies to take international students for work, as we will have 2 years of post-study work visa the employers always need at least 4 years of visa for the student to be selected.

Satisfied with the environment, faculty are supportive and helpful.
Tips: I came to a new country and had to adapt to a different culture. I received a 3000 pound scholarship and an early bird discount of 2000 pounds. I am satisfied with the academic and living expenses, but it is difficult to find part-time work.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation is available 24 hours a day on some routes. Uber and Bolt cab services are also available all the time. Bus service costs 2 Pounds, and the student card makes it even cheaper. Bus service is available to other cities, and train service is good until 11pm.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Post-study jobs depend on your years of experience and your ability to negotiate your salary during the job interview. One of my seniors got a job after completing the course, and the salary package was decent, but they are not currently sponsoring her.

Thriving in a diverse and supportive learning environment.
Tips: Before joining Coventry University, students should know it's a diverse, vibrant campus with strong industry links. The transition can be smooth but expect a cultural shift with more independence and a focus on self-directed learning. Scholarships are available and I received one based on academic merit, which provided a partial tuition fee waiver. I'm satisfied with the university, course, and the UK's multicultural environment, which offers great opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Likes (Public transportation): I rated public transportation a 5 because Coventry University is well-connected to the city via buses and trains. Frequent services make computing easy, and the student discounts keep it affordable. The campus is accessible from all parts of the city, making public transportation both convenient and economical for students.

Decent college with a good Desi community.
Tips: Students should know there is good food and decent accommodation available. The airport is close by and there's lots of variety of shops. There will be a cultural shift since you have to share your accommodation with people but it will be a fun experience. I did not get any scholarship but it is fine. However, I would rather prefer to do an M.Sc. at a better-ranking university with more opportunities.
Likes (Public transportation): There is a good facility for public transport. There are buses every 20 minutes and they have an easy payment system on the bus where you can just tap your card. If you are travelling multiple times you can also buy a day pass which gives you unlimited travel for that day also students get discounts on monthly passes.
Dislikes (Internships): There are no internship opportunities for M.Sc. but there is an option to extend a visa if you get an internship but no one gives an internship to M.Sc students in the UK. The internships I found were only for Bachelors or for students from Ivy League colleges. Even if you get an internship it has to be approved by the college.

Coventry University is value for money.
Tips: Coming here brought new experiences and some cultural shifts. University support made it smoother. And also after coming here I worked hard for my life and did part time jobs to study and also do my homework myself. I got a scholarship through good grades. It helps with expenses. I am happy with my university, course and life in this country.
Likes (Safety): University provides good pathways, emergency security and safety seminar. Coventry City, like any urban area, has its mix of good and challenging experiences. Good experiences include exploring cultural diversity and friendly locals. On the flip side, occasional concerns may involve navigatimg crowded areas or late-night travel.
Dislikes (Student Life): At the university, I spent my days attending classes, studying and engaging in various extracurricular activities. I enjoyed the diverse campus events such as cultural festivals and academic seminars. Many participate in clubs and societies, fostering a sense of community and enhancing my overall college experience.

A place for all to feel welcome
Tips: This university is very diverse and offers many great opportunities for students. Teachers do their best to support and the facilities are very beneficial for the students, such as the large library space on campus. Bursaries are available for students if needed. I am very satisfied with the university as it offers the support and educational opportunities that all students need.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): There are options available which allow students to study internationally. There are many courses for them to choose from and support is available financially. Teachers are always available to provide guidance to students on what would be the best route specifically for them to reach their goals.
Dislikes (Student Life): It is close to the city centre where there are restaurants and places to relax with friends. There are many shops that students enjoy spending time in, they can purchase clothes, and resources as required. There were many societies at the university that students could get involved with and make friends.

University is located in the heart of central London
Tips: Students coming here should be aware of what exactly they are looking for. Please don't just go because you want to do Masters. There will be a big cultural shift coming from India. Though I did avail of a scholarship but still can argue that the course was not worth the money I spent. University website has all the details about the course and scholarship.
Likes (Public transportation): London has one of the best if not the best public transport in the world connectivity-wise, though it is quite expensive. Lately, after COVID-19, there have been transport strikes quite frequently, which has affected a lot of people especially the working class.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): No company offered sponsor visa for work and placement was not that helpful. As I completed my course in covid times which made it very difficult to find a job, especially for the course as it was directly influenced. Job roles offered were not considering my prior job experience as they were not up to the standard.

Coventry is high-tech and modern
Tips: I didn't avail any scholarship personally but I guess there is a good scholarship given to full-time undergrad students from India around 3000-4000 pound waiver on tuition. I love the library of this university it has almost all the books ranging from academic to non-academic. The updated journals are available and the staff also help us to source through e-resources if required. The classes are fully modern and so is the overall infrastructure. Lecturers are from around the world and they are very supportive and kind. The focus is more on industry but if someone wants to go for higher education professors love that and provide more support. A student, if they like, can even assist the professors with their research since they are constantly writing papers. In general I would say that there are many opportunities it's just about the direction you would like to take.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): It takes five years to obtain a permanent settlement visa here and for students like us who will take up a job here after graduation will be on a tier 2 visa so there is no problem with that. Personally, I like this country it is diverse and has good opportunities for growth and raising a family too. Be it education or healthcare everything is top-notch so getting a good job should be the priority, that's how one will permanently settle down in the UK.
Dislikes (Student Life): Coventry is very modern and I mean it. It is advanced, it has high tech labs with adequate resources, good student bodies and clubs and so much to do with your friends on campus. There are multiple clubs like photography, reading etc. and anyone will find a club that relates to the individual's hobbies.

A top notch and modern university
Tips: The b-school is very forward and has many facilities like there is a business-suited simulation room, a trading floor etc. I guess engineering also has some high -teach labs and stimulating experience systems. I would say that this university is keeping up with the fast-paced world and that is something good. I myself got a 3000 GBP scholarship and many other international students get that. The faculty is very good and they share comprehensive material with us. This is a top university go for it nothing to think more.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are many Indian restaurants like Indian express but please don't expect good quality food like you get in India. I myself used to prefer veg food and it is not good at all the samosas are tiny, the price is okay but expensive you can easily make that yourself. The curry served is also not up to the mark and it is not only with one restaurant it is almost common. I cook my Indian-style food myself and it is far better.

Student Friendly, academic-oriented university.
Tips: The people at the University are very friendly and help out with your concerns. The faculty is also very approachable and will give you support as and when required. Campus life and atmosphere is very cool and different from India. Class attendance is given utmost importance so attend your lectures regularly.
Likes (Safety): Coventry has been a safe city as it has communal harmony and many people from different cultures and descents study and make their livelihood. British have been very open and friendly, especially with Indian people but still a few incidents have been reported of racial abuse/discrimination.
Dislikes (Internships): There are certain student unions and clubs which help with leads on internship opportunities available. You will have to be very active on LinkedIn and make connections. Data Science has vast scope and many opportunities are available. The pay however will depend on the kind of USP you can offer as a candidate.

Covers your academic needs.
Tips: Expect to find a multicultural environment, everything will come down to your own ability to network. Professors are extremely helpful and unbiased. Expect a thorough evaluation on your assignments. Teachers will guide you through the curriculum and will evaluate you like a manager.
Likes (Safety): Safe campus near tower bridge, people are very friendly and would go out of their way to help. Good experiences would be late night travel to explore the city without worrying about safety. No racial discrimination except for a few parts in and around london.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The chances of settlement usually depend on your own ability to look out for a job, the college provides support but unlike India there is no concept of placements. Given a chance I would want to get settled in this country. The opportunity to grow here are immense.

Coventry is for you, you are for Coventry!
Tips: Starting with infrastructure, the infrastructure of Coventry is best. The university looks totally modern with well-equipped lecture halls and well maintained library. I've studied B.A. in business management and have spent most my time in library which is open 24 hours. You can easily book a group room or a computer for you if you wish. Facilities here at Coventy are good, staff is very helpful and being an International student you might find it somewhat difficult in the beginning but you'll get settled within no time and you won't even realize such is the culture here. The college is in the heart of the city and thus you'll find plethora of opportunities for you here. Faculty here is also very supportive, they give detailed feedback and become your supporting hand with coursework so, If you are afraid of an academic transition don't be for it'll be very smooth. For overall development and achievements of academic pursuit Coventry is the go!

A great university in terms of ranking and student experience.
Tips: Coventry is an excellent option for engineering students. And the London campus is good for business students. Even on main campus business school is there, but the modules are a bit generic and fees are bit high compared to other universities. And they are only giving 2 instalments. For my course specifically more than 90% of students are international. And the fees are increasing annually. In Coventry, part time options are lower, but the rent and other expenses are reasonable. But overall, Coventry is a reputed and famous university in the UK. The exams and assignments are strict and the lecturers are really good.
Likes (Student Life): We can find a lot of international students in Coventry especially Indians. And there are many activities held weekly for students, the student hub is a very good place for students. The hub will cater to all the needs of students. Students can participate in elections and we are able to raise our voices.
Dislikes (Value for money): University fee is a bit higher when compared to other universities, while the modules are similar to others. So for business and finance courses, there are better universities that provide similar modules for low fees. And for placement options, an extra fee is to be paid.

If you are coming with a mindset of earning through part time don't came to Coventry University.
Tips: My first piece of advice for students is to make sure they have the money to fund their degree. Prepare for the climate because it won't be easy here. Should have an idea about the course what you are doing don't come blindly. Sort out accommodation in a good ventilation room because you may feel unbreathable because of heaters.
Likes (Safety): Coventry city is one of the most student friendly city in UK & Coventry city is the safest city in West Midlands. Coventry is vibrant, affordable home away from home. Coventry University is located in heart of Coventry city, so I feel like it's safe to live in Coventry city.
Dislikes (Part time work): Limited jobs in coventry city as it is a small city. Even our seniors didn't get the part time job till now. Few students are moving to other cities to get part time jobs. So if you have prepared to choose Coventry university then prepare to move to another city for part time jobs.
