The Indian Community at NJIT is amazing and very diverse.
Tips: I believe there's not much that students must know before coming here. The college handles everything really well, and you get accustomed to the university really quickly. You will only have to worry about your academics, and apart from that, it's just a hill time at NJIT. The faculty is helpful. You can reach out to them in case of any doubts or queries.
Likes (Safety): Safety is not much of a concern at NJIT. The campus is pretty safe for students, and people take care of each other very well. Although I didn't have many safety issues at NJIT, I've heard stories. Overall, I'd say there's not much to worry about if you're with the right people and take care of yourself.
Dislikes (Student Life): Student life at New Jersey Institute of Technology is quite decent. People are cool here, and they are very helpful. The Indian Community at NJIT is amazing and very diverse. There are a lot of events that one can attend, so you can learn new things and move forward.

The cost of living is high and part-time job pay system is messed up.
Tips: This is a very costly college and they are very strict about academics. You have to spend at least 50-60L for graduation here. Apart from that, it is a fine college. The neighbourhood is very costly, with high competition for part-time jobs. 80% of the time you can't speak English.
Likes (Indian Food): I like the pizza on campus. It is delicious and affordable. There's also some sushi, but that's about it for food options on campus. There are some nice restaurants in Jersey City, but most of them are Gujarati, so the food is bland or sweet. Good south Indian food is hard to come by.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The college doesn't have many on-campus recruitment opportunities. After graduation, you're on your own to find a job. Newark and New Jersey are places where you can find work, but there's a lot of competition for part-time jobs. The areas are expensive, and the college is expensive.

Extremely enthusiastic experience.
Tips: Personality was developed, new learnings were attained, and cultural development occurred here. Management is very helpful, and faculty members are always available to help and support you in the projects and assessments given by them without any partiality.
Likes (Indian Food): Playing games with my classmates and sometimes going for nightouts and playing football, doing extracurricular activities, making new recipes, and always asking my foreign friends to try some new indian cuisine. I was in the music club as a pianist.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Experience was great, and valuable learning was given by my faculty members. They always promoted and inculcated the josh type feeling among all the students and ensured that none of the students lag behind in their academics. They also promoted us in the play.

Overall this college is a good choice.
Tips: Before joining one should check how financially strong they are and also depends on one's area of interest and aim in their life. But on overall basis it is the best college. People nearby are mostly Indians and especially from Telugu states hence it will be good choice for women if they are having any safety concerns.

People are friendly and welcoming.
Tips: Initially, studying here can seem intimidating, but the people are warm and helpful. It took me a semester to adjust to my classes and establish a routine. While play is emphasised as much as work, you are expected to do your best in assignments and projects to be taken seriously. I chose this program to gain a better understanding of policy-making and history, and it has not disappointed.

Interesting and diverse.
Tips: Texas is a very unique city offering all aspects of the American life in one place. The cost of living is reasonable compared to other states, but securing on-campus housing is a task. You can skip the orientation; it's not that useful anyway, but make sure your housing is sorted and that you have a functioning account. The international students mixer is where I found my friends.

The university campus is good with very helpful faculty.
Tips: Students should know that they might get a temporary culture shock but that will not unnecessarily be a bad thing as people here might come off as more blunt or transparent but they are also equally kind and helpful. Talk to your supervisors and interact in classrooms. Campus life is also very educative and you are bound to learn a lot. Public transportation is affordable and accessible throughout the day, Overall, I am satisfied with the course, college and the country.

Mixed opinion but it is a good place.
Tips: While the University of Texas has many strengths, my experience here has been mixed. I took a while to settle here and the orientation was brief and unhelpful at least according to me. Along with this, housing is an issue as the capacity to board students is limited and this causes a lot of issues.

Tips: My experience here has been pretty transformative so far. The faculty is supportive and dedicated and they are there for you whenever you need them. Internships are limited especially in my line of study which makes it slightly difficult to find one while pursuing education here.
